This video clearly points out that members of An Garda Siochana in Ireland are not educated on the difference between criminal law and civil law. For something to be criminal you need to have a complaint, an injured party, a witness to a crime. If it is civil, it is based on contracts and you need consent from both parties. Gardai in Eire now have devices in their cars to spot someone with no tax. This is not a criminal offence. It is civil. If it is civil they need consent from the owner to seize a car. They clearly did not have consent. They believe they don't need it. They are wrong and every time they take a car without consent they become the lawbreakers.

"A video I recorded on my way home from work on the 66 bus last night [Dublin city centre to Lucan village]. For 50 mins, this child was SCREAMING. The'mother' and her friend ignored him and continued to laugh and chat. He was so upset he started getting sick, still the mother wouldn't pick him up. The poor bus driver was so distracted and stressed from the screams he was called the gardaí! He did ask her about 10 times, would she pick up and comfort the child...but the response was "DONT TELL ME HOW TO RAISE MY CHILD!" I still have a headache..."

These exclusive videos and images capture the intense pressure that Ireland's national Police service - 'An Garda Siochana' - put on gangsters involved in organised crime in Limerick City and it's surroundings. During the first decade of the new millennium, Limerick became one of the crime capitals of Europe (a 'Gangland'), with vicious gangs taking over vast areas in the third largest city of the Republic of Ireland. Feuding, rival drug gangs instilled fear in the community, with severe beatings, assassinations and bomb detonations. In the ten years from 2000 to 2010, Limerick witnessed over 60 gang-related murders, as firearm discharges and stabbings were an almost daily occurrence. It was high time to act. With an increase in Police resources and changes to organised crime legislation, Limerick slowly recovered to become the peaceful, beautiful and quintessential Irish town it once was. This was thanks to over 100 convictions and long prison sentences handed down under anti-gang laws for various offences, ranging from threatening language right up to murder. Firearms were taken off the streets by their hundreds, leading to more than a 90% decrease in gun crime. Homicides are now almost a 'rare' occurrence in the county, with very few recorded over the last couple of years. And gangs have been dismantled from the inside out, helping cull the availability of illegal drugs in the south. The transformation of urban Limerick - once unfortunately nicknamed 'stab city' - has been down in no small part to local Gardai, law officials and community leaders, but special thanks must be reserved for the resilient people of Limerick who stood up to violent crime, took a stand and said 'NO'. This video features members of the Garda Regional Armed Support Unit (RSU, Southern Region), and; Garda Air Support Unit (GASU), Garda National Bureau of Criminal Investigation (NBCI), Garda National Surveillance Unit (NSU), Garda Emergency Response Unit (ERU) from the Garda Special Detectives Unit (SDU), all deployed by Garda National Support Services. __ Every effort has been made to protect the identity of the officers in this video. It is paramount to the safety of these officers that their identity remains unknown, and who already avail of anonymity laws in court and in the media.
