Mercedes I was a merchant ship built in 1952 in Hamburg, Germany. She was 194 feet (59 m) long and displaced 496 tons. She was originally named Jacob Rusch, later being renamed Rosita Maria, Rita Voge, and finally Mercedes I in 1976.
She was caught in a storm while at anchor off Palm Beach, Florida on 23 November 1984, and was driven ashore where she crashed into the seawall front of the home of Palm Beach socialite, Mollie Wilmot, who served the 12 Venezuelan sailors caviar, finger sandwiches and freshly brewed coffee in her gazebo, offered martinis to journalists and photographers, and granted the stranded Venezuelans access to her swimming pool. The incident received national and international coverage.
After being abandoned by her owners, she was salvaged by the Donjon Marine Company, who sold her for $29,000 to the Broward County Environmental Quality Control Board. They scuttled her on 30 March 1985 with 350 pounds of TNT off the coast of Ft. Lauderdale, in order to create an artificial reef. She currently rests upright in 97 feet (30 m).

Since the premiere of the children's television program Sesame Street on November 10, 1969, it has included what writer Malcolm Gladwell has called "the essence of Sesame Street—the artful blend of fluffy monsters and earnest adults". The original cast, chosen by producer Jon Stone, consisted of four human actors—Matt Robinson, who played Gordon; Loretta Long, who played Gordon's wife, Susan; Will Lee, who played Mr. Hooper; and Bob McGrath, who played Bob. Unlike most children's television programs at the time, the producers of Sesame Street decided against using a single host and cast a group of ethnically diverse actors, with, as Sesame Street researcher Gerald S. Lesser put it, "a variety of distinctive and reliable personalities".
Stone did not audition actors until spring 1969, a few weeks before five shows, designed to test the show's appeal to children and to examine their comprehension of the material, were due to be filmed. Stone videotaped the auditions, and researcher Ed Palmer took them out into the field to test children's reactions. The actors who received the "most enthusiastic thumbs up" were cast. For example, when the children saw Long's audition, they stood up and sang along with her rendition of "I'm a Little Teapot". As Stone said, casting was the only aspect of the show that was "just completely haphazard". Most of the cast and crew found jobs on Sesame Street through personal relationships with Stone and the other producers.
Miguel is the second album by Dalida. It contains eight songs, including her big success "Miguel". The songs "Maman, la plus belle du monde", "Quand on n'a que l'amour" and "Tu n'as pas très bon caractère", continue in a more pop style than her first album.
Luís Miguel Brito Garcia Monteiro, OIH (born 4 January 1980), known as Miguel (Portuguese pronunciation: [miˈɣɛɫ]), is a retired Portuguese footballer who played mainly as a right back.
He played the vast majority of his professional career with Benfica (five seasons) and Valencia (seven), appearing in the vicinity of 200 official games with both clubs and winning a total of four major titles.
Miguel gained 59 caps for Portugal during the 2000s, and represented the country in two World Cups and as many European Championships.
Born in Lisbon, Miguel started his career with local C.F. Estrela da Amadora as a winger. On 30 April 1999 he made his first-team debut, playing 17 minutes in a 1–2 away loss against Boavista FC, then added 28 league appearances in his only full season as the capital club retained its top division status.
In the 2000 summer Miguel moved to S.L. Benfica, making the transition to right midfielder and then right back (by the hand of former Benfica player Fernando Chalana, in his only game as a transition coach) – the position that ultimately brought him international recognition. In the 2004–05 campaign he contributed with 22 games and two goals, as the Eagles won the national championship after an 11-year wait.
