How to enable Flash Player and plugins in TenFourFox
If you run a PowerPC computer running OSX for surfing the internet, you probably browse with TenFourFox, a modernized PPC-compatible version of Firefox. TenFourFox is a great browser, but it has one aggravating flaw, that is that plugins are disabled by default. You can quickly enable them again in order to use flash player and other desired plugins by going to "about:config" and searching for "tenfourfox.plugins", and then changing the value of that item to "true" by double clicking it. Fix Video Lag on powerbook g4(please read description)
After trying for days of fixing the video lag on my powerbook i finally found something that worked for me Instructions: 1. go to http://www.floodgap.com/software/tenfourfox/ 2. Download the appropriate browser for your mac, there are instructions to help find the correct one. Open TenFourFox and go to https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/video-without-flash/ 3.Install the addon and restart tenfourfox 4. Go to YouTube or wherever the video you want to watch is, hold ctrl and click the video, choose watch video without flash and click the video, or you may hit open in new window. To watch another video you must close the new Window, if you stay on YouTube then ctrl click and select the plugin again. If the plugin isn't working then go to tools, addons select preferences on the addon, select modules and eaither check or uncheck large youtube player, then try and refresh the page with the video. If you have any questions let me know hope this helps!- published: 18 Jan 2014

Power Mac G5 1080p and 4K Video Playback Capabilities
Power Mac G5 1080p and 4K Video Playback Capabilities
Power Mac G5 Quad at 2.5Ghz, Nvidia GeForce 6600, 2Gb RAM are able to play 1920x1080p Video size without any problem using players such VLC, Movist, Mplayer. QuickTime 7.7 and its poor optimized H264 decoder make the playback not that smooth in the case of 1080p. Flash and Youtube behaves very good, 720p without problem and most of 1080p with some drop frames but most of the cases very watchable. I do recommends WebKit for Leopard instead TenFourFox. Final Cut Studio 3 with Final cut 7 runs perfectly handly 2k videos in Prores very well. *you need to modify the installer of FCS 3 to be able to install it in PowerPC. Wallstreet Powerbooks - 2014
This is a longer test of video editing software. The 2 Wallstreets were my test subjects. They were both handy. Each had been upgraded to G3 processors at 466mhz with 512 megs of ram, The hard drives were 40 gigabytes. Operating systems were OS 9.2.2 and OS X 10.4. They were running software that was still relevant for 2014, including Microsoft Office 2008, TenFourFox (firefox browser), VLC Player (for video), and other software. Accessories added functionality including MCE Xcaret Pro cd/dvd drives that were modded to take standard DVD writers, Iomega Zip drives, SuperDisk drives, and PCCards like the Belkin USB 2.0 and Sonnet Allegro wireless. The machines were still usable in 2014 with the proper upgrades and installs of software. The machine on the left was a "Mainstreet" version, which was the first generation of the Wallstreet - it only had 2 megs of video ram and no s-video output. The one on the right is the second generation PDQ Wallstreet that came out later in 1998. With the upgrades, there is little difference between the two. I enjoyed using both.- published: 30 Jan 2014
