From the age of thirteen I have been a babysitter for many families with children of different ages. At the age of fifteen I was an au pair in France for two months for five children under the age of nine. While this was challenging at such a young age, it did not deter my love of looking after children.

This passion for working with children, continued to my time at University. In 2010 I participated in the Bond University Children’s Holiday Camp. The camp involves a student volunteer providing twenty-four hour care for a mentally and or physically disabled child for a period of four days before Christmas. I enjoyed my experience so much, that I took on the role as one of four camp conveners for the 2011 camp. I will continue to run the camp until I graduate.

I have recently looked after two children (boy and girl aged 10 and 7) on the Gold Coast. I have also been a babysitter fortnightly for a family with an 18 month girl and a 7 year old boy.

My most recent position was a full time nannying position for a family with three children. From 8am I looked after an 18 month girl and from 3pm her two older brothers, aged 5 and 7 years of age.

I am currently fully accredited to work with children as I have a Positive Notice blue card and have my driver’s license. I also have my CPR and First Aid Certificate. I am also happy to do any cooking or cleaning that is needed. I can provide references.
