Brown-brown is a form of powdered cocaine mixed with smokeless gunpowder (not "blackpowder"). Smokeless powder often contains nitroglycerine, a drug prescribed for heart conditions, which most likely causes vasodilation which allows the cocaine to move more freely through the body. This in turn allows for a more intense high. Also it may refer to heroin. It was reportedly given to child soldiers in West African armed conflicts.
Ishmael Beah described using brown-brown and other drugs while he was a child soldier in Sierra Leone, in his memoir, A Long Way Gone.
Use of the drug was depicted by Nicolas Cage's character, Yuri Orlov, in the 2005 film Lord of War. It was also portrayed being used by Liberian child soldiers during their preparations for a combat/assault mission in the 2008 French/Liberian film Johnny Mad Dog.
In 1000 Ways to Die, Tomo, a Sierra Leonean warlord, dies after snorting brown-brown with diamond dust in it, which cut through the lining of his lungs breaching arteries and blood vessels.

Your mouth is bigger
Than a two car garage
An assault to my ears
A verbal barrage
Your point of view is nowhere
Nowhere like you
Your attitude stinks
Like the garbage you spew
Chorus:
Brain burn
You give me brain burn
Superficial outlook
Shallow to the core
Minuscule mind games
You're nothing but a bore
Out of sight, out of mind
Out of touch, out of time
-Chorus-
You think you're right
But you're always proven wrong
The proof is in the pudding
The way you sing your song
Out of touch, out of time
-Chorus-
Nothin but a bonehead
Solid as a rock
You make me laugh
You're something to mock
You play it safe
And never take a chance
You're just a wimp
You can see it in a glance
Out of sight, out of mind
-Chorus 3X-
It's midnight, we're fighting
It's more than, just chiding
No more she wants to feel these selfish hands
The flyscreen is broken
More wrong words are spoken
She's leaving and I don't know what to do...what to do
Brain, brain, brain, brain won't you help me
You know this day, isn't going to last for long
Brain, brain, brain, brain won't you guide me
These arms, these legs, propel them to another day
I just cannot stall her
As cab lights grow smaller
An empty road reflects the crimson sky
The night lights are blinking
At logic that's sinking
Where do I begin, with this life we're living in
Market youth their uniform, make us all fit in
But do you think, that we're that blind?
That we can't see through all your lies
Cause it's no good
Burn burn the stations
We'll burn it down
Burn burn the truth
Enjoy the flames
In celebration
Enjoy the sound
For us, for them, for you
I know that I've been told
My intergrity was sold
Priced and placed upon the shelf
It's worth it's weight in gold
But do you think we've lost our minds?
Yeah we can see through all your lies
Burn burn the truth the lies the news
Burn burn the life that you cant choose
Burn burn the hate that gets you through
Burn burn for us, for them, for you
Cause it's no good
Burn burn the stations
We'll burn it down
Burn burn the truth
Enjoy the flames
In celebration
Enjoy the sound
We burn our mind and we say good night
And we do it all again
And around and around we go
You cover ground with a dangerous life
And you look like a painting of a beaten saint in a robe
And even if we tell a lie
No ones gonna know until we fall back fall back
Even though were sewn shut
Even if we tell a lie
No ones gonna know until we fall back fall back
Even though were sewn shut
I built this house on solid ground
Will you come and stay with me?
Ill settle down
I did crimes for the empty lives
That offend to the parliament
Back again, then wake up
You cover ground with a natural high
And everywhere you go the people admire you
And even if we tell a lie
No ones gonna know until we fall back fall back
Even though were sewn shut
Even if we tell a lie
No ones gonna know until we fall back fall back
Even though were sewn shut
I built this house on solid ground
Will you come and stay with me?
Ill settle down
I built this house on solid ground
Will you come and stay with me?
Ill settle down
I built this house on solid ground
Will you come and stay with me?
Ill settle down
Even if we tell a lie
No ones gonna know until we fall back fall back
Even though were sewn shut
I built this house on solid ground
Will you come and stay with me?
Ill settle down
Even if we tell a lie
No ones gonna know until we fall back fall back
Even though were sewn shut
I built this house on solid ground
Will you come and stay with me?
