Adam Burish (born January 6, 1983) is an American professional ice hockey center who currently plays for the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League.

Burish was drafted in the 9th round of the 2002 NHL Entry Draft, 282nd overall by the Chicago Blackhawks.

Prior to his NHL career Burish, a Madison, Wisconsin native, played at the University of Wisconsin and graduated with a degree in Economics. He served as captain for the national champion 2005–06 team, and assisted on both goals (by Robbie Earl and Tom Gilbert) in Wisconsin's 2-1 victory over Boston College in the title game.

He won the Stanley Cup with the Chicago Blackhawks in 2010 over the Philadelphia Flyers. After the Finals, he claimed that Flyers defenseman Chris Pronger is "the biggest idiot in the league...and if I see him out there, I might punch him." Pronger responded the next day by asking if Burish would punch him in the face in the minors. Burish later took back his comments.

On July 1, 2010, Burish signed a 2-year deal with the Dallas Stars at $1.15 million per year.

Adam (Hebrew: אָדָם‎, Arabic: آدم‎, Syriac: ܐܵܕ݂ܵܡ) is a figure in the Book of Genesis, the Qur'an and the Kitáb-i-Íqán. According to the creation myth of Abrahamic religions, he is the first human. In the Genesis creation narratives, he was created by Yahweh-Elohim ("Yahweh-God", the god of Israel), though the term "adam" can refer to both the first individual person, as well as to the general creation of humankind. Christian churches differ on how they view Adam's subsequent behavior (often called the Fall of man), and to the consequences that those actions had on the rest of humanity. Christian and Jewish teachings sometimes hold Adam and Eve (the first woman) to a different level of responsibility for the Fall, though Islamic teaching holds both equally responsible. In addition, Islam holds that Adam was eventually forgiven, while Christianity holds that redemption occurred only later through the sacrifice of God's son, Jesus Christ. Bahá'í Faith, Islam and some Christian denominations consider Adam to be the first Prophet.

Tanner Glass (born November 29, 1983) is a Canadian professional ice hockey winger with the Winnipeg Jets of the National Hockey League (NHL). Known as a physical player, he has previously played in the NHL for the Vancouver Canucks and Florida Panthers.

Glass played junior hockey in the British Columbia Hockey League (BCHL) for two seasons with the Penticton Panthers and Nanaimo Clippers, earning All-Star Team honours in 2003. Going on to the college ranks with the Dartmouth Big Green for four seasons, he helped his club to two third-place finishes in the ECAC Hockey Conference and served as team captain in his senior year. Selected 265th overall by the Florida Panthers in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft, he turned professional in 2007 with the team's American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Rochester Americans. For the next two seasons, he split time between the NHL and AHL before signing with the Canucks in July 2009 as an unrestricted free agent. Glass solidified his role as a fourth-line forward on the team and helped them to the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals, where they lost to the Boston Bruins. In July 2011, he left the Canucks for the Winnipeg Jets via free agency.

The Stands were an English band from Liverpool.

The Stands were formed by Howie Payne in 2002. There was no fixed line up in the band originally and local musicians Martyn Campbell (Richard Ashcroft, Rain) Sean Payne (Zutons) Russel Pritchard (Zutons) and Robby Stevenson (Hokum Clones) all contributed to early shows. Payne recruited local acoustic performer Steve Pilgrim to play drums and Luke Thomson on Guitar. The trio along with Martin Cambell on Bass recorded a selection of demos at Parr St Studios in Liverpool. Payne reportedly financed the demos by roadying for The Zutons on the first UK tour.

In September 2002 the ITV program This Is Music was in Liverpool to film bands who played The Bandwagon night at The Zanzibar Club in the city. Originally The Stands were not on the bill until the rest of the bands appearing petitioned the producers of the show to add The Stands to the Program. The Stands were added to the program and performed All Years Leaving. Russ Pritchard (Zutons) played Bass. It was at this show that Dean Ravera approached the band and asked to play bass in the band. Ravera joined the band a week later and the band were invited to support The Coral on the autumn UK tour.

Patrick Sharp (born December 27, 1981) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player and alternate captain currently playing for the Chicago Blackhawks of the National Hockey League (NHL).

Sharp was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba. He began his hockey career in Thunder Bay, Ontario, playing first for the Thunder Bay Kings program^{[citation needed]} then for the former Thunder Bay Flyers of the United States Hockey League (USHL). From there he continued his hockey career in the college ranks with the University of Vermont, before the Philadelphia Flyers selected him 95th overall (3rd round) in the 2001 NHL Entry Draft.

After completing two years with Vermont, Sharp made his NHL debut in 2003–04, splitting the season between the Flyers and their American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Philadelphia Phantoms, recording 7 points (5 goals, 2 assists) in 41 regular season games with the Flyers, and 29 points (15 goals, 14 assists) in 35 games for the Phantoms. Due to the 2004–05 NHL lockout, Sharp spent the entire following season in the AHL with the Phantoms, registering 23 goals and 29 assists (52 points) in 75 regular-season games and 8 goals and 13 assists (21 points) in 21 playoff games en route to a Calder Cup championship.
