Iraq - Iraqi Armed Forces clash with Militants in Anbar Province
In Anbar Province, Islamic extremists in league with al Qaeda have taken the city of Fallujah -- where U.S. forces fought a ferocious battle in 2004. The fight today is between the two main branches of the Islamic faith -- the Sunni and the Shia -- which are now at war with eachother. Last week, the Iraqi military went on the attack, firing at extremists who had overrun Mosques, jails and police stations in the main towns of Anbar, Fallujah and Ramadi. The insurgents are reported to still be in control of Fallujah. Armed with guns and rocket-propelled grenades, they're battling local tribesmen, and the largely U.S. trained and equipped Iraqi army. The violence is a spillover from the savage civil war next door in Syria, where al Qaeda-linked militants have exported their cause and their men across the border. They're mostly Sunni Muslims who want to rule this part of the world, and impose hardline Shariah law. These days though, their main enemy is no longer the U.S. military- it's the millions of Shiite Muslims who live there, and the Shiite controlled government that rules Iraq. Over the past year, this religious conflict has grown. In the country America believed was headed for stable democracy, nearly 8,000 civilians were killed in 2013- a return to the kind of violence Iraqis haven't seen since the worst years of the war.- published: 10 Jan 2014

Iraqi army kills scores of militants in Anbar Province
Iraqi armed forces have managed to kill scores of al-Qaeda-affiliated militants in the country's Anbar Province as the army continues its fight against terrorists, Press TV reports. According to the Iraqi Defense Ministry, the army forces carried out airstrikes on the Takfiri militants' bases in the western province of Anbar, killing scores of them. The Iraqi ministry also said the government troops had dismantled caches of ammunition in the violence-stricken province. Senior Iraqi lawmaker Abbas al-Bayati told Press TV, "We are fighting the al-Qaeda and the [al-Qaeda-affiliated] ISIL (so-called Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant) in the Anbar Province," adding that the terrorists are trying to form bases in the area. Over the past weeks, Anbar has been the scene of deadly fighting between Iraqi security forces and the al-Qaeda-linked ISIL militants. Violence erupted in Anbar on December 30, 2013, when the army removed an anti-government camp in the city of Ramadi. Iraqi authorities said the camp had been used as "headquarters for the leadership of al-Qaeda." The turmoil later spread to Fallujah and the militants moved in and seized the city as well as parts of Ramadi. On January 22, Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki called on the residents of the Anbar Province to "take a stand" against the anti-government militants. Maliki has also blamed "diabolical" and "treacherous" Arab countries for the recent rise in violence in his country, saying, "Iraq is the target for some countries that are backing terrorism, and backing evil." In an address to the opening session of the Geneva II conference on the crisis in Syria on January 22, Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari said the growing influence of al-Qaeda and other extremist militants in neighboring Syria is behind the violence in Iraq.- published: 24 Jan 2014

The Iraqi Armed Forces are the military forces of the Government of Iraq. They consist of the Iraqi Army, the Iraqi Air Force, and the Iraqi Navy. The armed forces of Iraq have a long but not particularly successful history. They were initially formed in the early 1920s. Six military Coup d'états were mounted by the Army between 1936 and 1941. The armed forces first saw combat in the Anglo-Iraqi War of 1941. They fought against Israel in the 1948 Arab--Israeli War, in the 1967 Six Day War, and in the 1973 Yom Kippur War. Two wars with the Kurds were fought in 1961-70 and 1974-75. A much larger conflict was the Iran-Iraq War, initiated by the Iraqis in 1980, which continued until 1988. Thereafter Iraq began the Iraq-Kuwait War which led to the Persian Gulf War of 1991, which led in turn to confrontations over the Iraqi no-fly zones during the 1990s, and finally the Iraq War of 2003. The Iraqi armed forces have had mixed success at the strategic level but consistently poor tactical performance during most of their history source المصدر: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraqi_Armed_Forces- published: 13 Mar 2014

When their country calls, Texas Aggies go to war. From the Spanish-American War and World War I to Operation Iraqi Freedom, Aggies have been in the forefront of America's armed forces, producing more officers than any other school outside the service academies. More than 20,000 Texas Aggies served in World War II, for instance, including more than 14,000 as commissioned officers. Trained in leadership and the knowledge required for warfare, Aggies have served with distinction in all branches of the military service. In this first-ever compilation of the impressive war record of Texas Aggies, stories of individual soldiers, airmen, sailors, and marines are displayed with an abundance of statistics, maps, and tables.
These narratives include:
• First-person accounts of Aggie heroism in battle in all the wars in which A&M; former students have fought;
• The horrific experiences of some of the eighty-seven Aggies who were stationed at Corregidor and Bataan;
• The perils of five Aggies who participated in the raid over Tokyo with Jimmie Doolittle;
• The heroics of the seven Medal of Honor recipients from Texas A&M; during World War II;
• James Earl Rudder's leadership of the Ranger assault at Normandy on D-Day;
• Examples of vigorous support and devotion to duty given by Aggies in Korea, Vietnam, and the Middle East.

The New Water Sports:
Totalitarian Aesthetics, Pride and the Cleansing of Queer Identity in Noam Gonick’s No Safe Words.
By Francisco-Fernando Granados
Noam Gonick’s No Safe Words is a multi-channel video installation that expands on a short film originally shown in large outdoor screens during the 2008 Toronto Pride Parade. The short film is contextualized by footage documenting the parade and the prominent participation of police forces in the festivities. Queer and politicized, the piece operates at the uncomfortable juncture where oppressive state apparatuses meet public expressions of non-normative sexuality. Appropriating the conventions and venues of mass media, Gonick uses contemporary and historical references to draw a link between the politics of totalitarianism and the aesthetics of sexual power-play that coincide in current North American culture. No Safe Words makes visible a kind of late capitalist gay identity that seeks to un-queer itself, obscuring the history of struggle for gay rights and creating a problematic dynamic that allows some queer bodies to pass as normative and achieve privileges while leaving oppressive hierarchical structures intact.
Gonick utilizes the aesthetics and channels of mass media to intervene in the logic of popular visual culture. No Safe Words recalls Sunday Night Football promotional spots, putting together electric guitar-driven music, animated commentary, popping captions and action shots commonly featured in sports advertising. But the conventions and the logic end there. The players are called “fudge packers.” Instead of famous NFL giants like Peyton Manning and Adrian Peterson, the stars featured here are Adolf Hitler and Augusto Pinochet. The teams in the scoreboard are Guantanamo Bay and Abu Ghraib. Muscular young men, most of them white, cross the boundaries between the athletic and the erotic by engaging in light bondage and making each other wet with beer and water. This is not NBC, but it looks like it could pass. Placed in an outdoor mega screen, the film functions as a queer impostor, planted by Gonick as a means to address the lack of political awareness that is often encountered in contemporary pride parades across large North American urban centres. By creating a sequence that passes as a mainstream media form, the film gives its public something to recognize, but quickly twists this recognition by inserting a seemingly unrelated combination of references to gay male sexuality – “fudge-packers” being men who to anally penetrate other men – and totalitarian politics – Hitler and Pinochet being genocidal dictators.
While the relationship between homoeroticism and totalitarianism explored in the piece may not be immediately recognizable, there are a series of iconographic precedents in the history of Western art that link the two. Gonick shows one of the football players, shirtless, tied to a post; his long curly hair drips with beer poured on by his mates. “I think he likes it!” says the announcer, explaining the athletic young man’s open-mouthed smile. He is presented in ecstatic captivity, the sexual appeal of his body only intensified by the vulnerability of his situation. The open-mouthed smile grants an identity to the body. His pose and expression recall Il Sodoma’s 1531 work, Saint Sebastian. The painting presents the saint, almost naked, being pierced by arrows but with a rather orgasmic expression on his face. Gonick’s allusion to Il Sodoma provides historical context to his choice of subject matter.
Citing examples that range from Ancient Greek sculpture to early twentieth century photography in the racist American South, Stephen F. Eisenman traces the history of representations of violence as bliss. The “formula of beautiful suffering” (111) presents victims in rapture, as though their punishment transported them into a state of delight. The representation of such delight in punishment works as a legitimization of violence. The Christian civilizing mission of sixteenth century Europe frames the beautiful suffering in Il Sodoma’s image; Gonick’s critical iteration of the formula is framed by the politics of North American occupation in the Middle East. He restages the formula of beautiful suffering in No Safe Words, amplifying its scale and highlighting its persistence in Western culture.
No Safe Words recasts the images of (homo)sexualized torture that have emerged in the aftermath of North American intervention in the Middle East. In another scene, five bare-chested hunks, arms tied back again, kneel in line facing the camera. Rainbow coloured underwear is put on their heads by men dressed in dark gear. The men then pour bottled water on the captive’s heads. These are “the new water sports,” the voiceover says. The image of underwear covering a man’s features echo

What is unique about the 240-day war/aggresion against Libya
!> FIRST !> PROLOGUE !
Before you even start watching and/or reading this article, read this:
The analysis of this “Unique 240-day of War Aggression Over Libya” - the genocide against the Libyan people is not completely correct!
This is more like the text of Wikipedia on the so-called - "civil war" in Libya ...
...or a magazine article on geo-politics, that is - to paint a picture of political events...
BUT - no human suffering and the scale of one of the most monstrous crimes of the 21st century, that any are missing or displayed in a few sentences, but as - indirect victims of any war!
Here is what is missing and must be added (If there should be consistency):
1) Devil run between Britain and France (I think it was one year before the invasion of Libya) which is planned destabilization of Libya, Libyan and download Gaddafi and in extreme cases - a joint occupation!
2) There is no role of the World Jewish Mafia (and the involvement of parasite - Bernard Levy)!
https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=249304155086580
Who is Bernard Levy and what did he do in this so-called "revolution" is entirely omitted !?
Not to be missed Zionist demon operating plan, nearly 30 years, invented by the Zionist criminal brain ... plan to change the map and the political situation in the Middle East and North Africa !
Typical in this plan of Satan is that the Middle East and North Africa should be broken into small, weak and puppet states in favor of - "Great Israel"!
The means of achieving this goal is The Destabilization Of The Countries which was still not under the control of the Zionist mafia and was not allowed criminal financial ‘institutions’ and oil ‘corporations’ to plunder their country!
Destabilization of these countries methods are mainly to be sparked religious, tribal and ethnic tensions to destabilize the government and break the country!
To help benefit under false flag operations, terrorism, political assassinations ... all possible measures (characteristic of the criminal Zionist marrow) !
This is exactly the reason to use “the methods of the *Clash of Civilizations*” in the first days of events in Benghazi to be sparked as ethnic (mostly in Libya), tribal and political tensions!
In Benghazi were muted television, radio and internet emanated propaganda and demonization, the main lie was that "Gaddafi's regime" has sent thousands of black African mercenaries + ‘Viagra’ will kill and rape ... because many blacks liked Gaddafi!
That was enough crowd to start lynching of blacks by this - is not accidental, but planned major destabilization tactics!
We must never forget the role of criminal organizations and fake "human rights" (associated with Soros) who preached hysteria against blacks, all documented and broadcast in the criminal Zionist media !
//*NOTE: "Why Is Gaddafi Being Demonized ?" https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=125708630838908 //
3) In this analysis, paying too little attention to the "mysterious" snipers in Benghazi, are mercenaries and special forces of Britain and France (all is explained very briefly in two sentences?)!
Right here should be paid much more attention!
This is an old tactic of terrorist destabilization in which specially trained mercenary terrorists and special forces working for Western intelligence agencies began a coordinated and deliberate terror - killings of civilians (including women and children)!
In these operations under a "false flag" is specific - especially direct (kill) people whose death can cause the most stress and dissatisfaction with the angry crowd, which caused a chain reaction in people who turn to turn people against Government aid in pouring oil on the fire using agitators and hysteria among the crowd + of criminal corporate media, politicians, fake "activist" organizations and fake "human rights"!
At the beginning of operations under false flag held in Benghazi is clearly demonstrated and documented the presence of special forces of France and Britain which signals have begun to attack the barracks and police stations and carrying out assassinations of policemen and soldiers (some of it may act war?
But the truth is - pure Terrorism and crime against peace and humanity)!
Along with attacks on barracks and police stations are carried out and murder of civilians (including women and children) and of course - assassinations of political leaders and supporters of the legitimate Libyan government, the criminal corporate media teach these perversions as - "mode" Gaddafi kills "peaceful protesters" and "peaceful protesters" are infuriated and "self" begins to kill - "loyal to the regime" (ie police and soldiers) and then goes to take revenge on supporters and political leaders Gaddafi .. . who "was responsible" for the "massacre"!
Yet the killings of civilians, killing policemen and soldiers (attack the barracks and police stations), the killings of supporters, intellectuals and political leade

Yes. You heard what I said. All of it. It's all a bunch of lies. I know that it is a shocking claim to many, that our trusted officials in concert with our reliable mass media actually participated in deliberate deception designed to get us to accept war, but deal with it. I'm making it.
Our biggest moral obligation is ensuring that wars are not waged against people under false pretenses. War is the most disgusting and horrible thing you can inflict on any person.
As you read this article I am sure you will find there are a number of things that will surprise you. After researching the situation for months I assure you I have investigated as many sides of the story as possible. But I did reach a clear conclusion and I will not shy away from openly expressing the views that I have formed during this process.
What we have been seeing recently in the media, this time with a special emphasis on the online community, is the most sophisticated propaganda firework display we have ever witnessed. It’s no surprise so many people have been duped.
But a lie can travel the world before the truth has tied it’s shoe laces. But I believe that once the laces have been tied and the truth starts walking, eventually it’s gonna get to people.
There are at least two sides to every story
None of us could possibly have avoided hearing NATO’s side of the story and the reasons and justifications given for Gaddafi’s removal and how military intervention is necessary to protect Libyan citizens.
But are you sure you’ve heard both sides? Have you heard Gaddafi’s perspective on this issue? Or have you just heard “his side” as represented by the mainstream western media? If so I can start by telling you that his words, and the words of his son, Saif Al-Islam Gaddafi have been deliberately misinterpreted and edited out of context to create simple soundbite propaganda to influence people.
You will find that there is a completely different side of this story that is being completely ignored. It is not even being debated for it's merits, it simply is not talked about at all in the mainstream media.
Think about it. How much do you really know about Libya? Did you in all honesty know anything about the country before these events started unfolding? If I would have asked you back in February 10 questions about Libya and it’s affairs, how many do you think you would have answered correctly? And how much do you honestly know about what is going on there now?
I often find it intriguing how people tend to think they are qualified to give their view on things that in reality they know next to nothing about. They might have vague ideas generated by the mainstream media, biased textbooks and general pre-conceived notions, but not an actual thorough understanding of the country and it’s people and customs.
I had a discussion with a guy at a local bar the other day and I began the conversation by asking if he could tell me on what continent Libya was. Neither he nor his friend could answer correctly, picking Europe and Asia as their educated guesses. For some reason this guy still felt that his take on the situation was more accurate than mine, even as I told him I had been spending weeks investigating the matter. For those of you confused the correct answer is Africa.
I want to ask a simple question to make a simple case? Can you name me one current Libyan government official? You’re not allowed to say Gaddafi. Who holds the position of “Secretary of the General People’s Assembly” a position comparable to that of prime minister, although with a slightly different emphasis as he does not represent a political party and does not alone hold significant power. Did you even know that such a position exists in Libya and that he is elected by the people?
The less you know about something, the easier it is to deceive you.
My intention for exposing your potential and likely ignorance on this subject is not an attempt to show that I’m smarter or better than you. As I found out myself researching this article I knew remarkably little about Libya. And that is my point.
The mainstream media is focusing entirely on a set of news stories that have the specific intention of gathering support for military action and actively suppressing any story that would lead to people opposing it. This pattern will be exposed clearly as this article progresses.
It’s no wonder we don’t know much about Libya. Of course it gets confusing with all the different stories we hear of dictators and tyrants oversees. It is difficult to be an expert on all nations in the world. Just consider how many nations have existed and how long and rich each of their history is and how complex and

Battlefield Iraq: Heavy Clashes And Fighting Between Insurgents And Iraqi Army In The Anbar Province
Battlefield Iraq Heavy Clashes And Fighting Between Insurgents And Iraqi Army In The Anbar Province. Heavy Fighting Firefights And Clashes In Iraqs Anbar Province. Since 2014 the Anbar Province is place of fierce fighting between Sunni Iraqi Militias and the Iraqi Army. The main area of the clashes are the citys Ramadi and Falluja where a strong sunni population is located. According to Officials and witnesses, the Iraq government mainly has lost control over the strategic citys, west of Baghdad. The renewed violence in the Sunni province has raised concern about the stability of the government amid dueling claims by the terror group and security forces over who was in control of Falluja and Ramadi. Al-Qaeda black flags have been seen on government and police vehicles captured by the fighters. The army has besieged Ramadi, the capital of Anbar province, and has launched air strikes on the city. Security forces backed by tanks on battled militants in Iraq's Anbar province, where fighting has displaced thousands and sparked warnings of rights abuses and a worsening humanitarian crisis. Some of the most significant fighting appeared to be in Falluja, where the U.S. military fought one of the bloodiest battles of the Iraq war, with militants planting al Qaeda flags on buildings. Gunmen calling themselves the Islamic State of Iraq and Levant, formerly known as al Qaeda in Iraq, took to a stage before thousands of Sunnis following Friday prayers in Falluja. The takeover of Fallujah and parts of Ramadi is the first time that tribal fighters have exercised such open control in major Iraqi cities since the height of the bloody insurgency that followed the US-led invasion of 2003. The fighting has left more than a hundred people dead and forced thousands of Falluja's residents to flee the city, to Baghdad, northern Iraq and the southern city of Karbala, where Shiite leaders are hosting the displaced families in housing built for religious pilgrims. The United States said it would speed up its deliveries of missiles and surveillance drones to Iraq as the Baghdad government battles a resurgence of Al-Qaeda linked militants. Iraq's prime minister has urged residents and tribes in Anbar province to "expel" al-Qaeda-linked fighters to avoid an all-out battle - remarks that may signal an imminent military move to retake the former insurgent stronghold. The Insurgents mainly ambushing Iraqi Army convoys in urban areas and attacking small check points and police stations with small arms, rpgs and ieds. The Iraqi Army repels with Air Strikes and armored infantry units. The ISIL rebels were trying to bring the battle to the cities of Anbar and Fallujah because there's no security there and they know they will be thoroughly defeated in the desert. The Iraqi civil war never really ended it just went off the boil for a while. Last year, the heat was turned back to high, with the number of civilian deaths from political violence doubling to roughly 8,000 people over the previous year, the highest civilian death toll since at least 2008. Officials have blamed the upsurge in violence to a resurgent Al-Qaeda emboldened by the civil war in neighbouring Syria, but the government has itself faced criticism for not doing enough to address the concerns of Iraq's disaffected Sunni Arab minority ahead of April elections. The Iraqi armed forces have had mixed success at the strategic level but consistently poor tactical performance during most of their history source المصدر: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraqi_Armed_Forces- published: 28 Feb 2014
