Benjamin Bartlett, better known as Ben Bartlett, is a British soundtracks composer. He is mainly celebrated for having been the creator of the background music in BBC nature documentary series Walking with Dinosaurs (1999), Walking with Beasts (2001), Chased by Dinosaurs (2002) or Walking with Monsters (2005), among others. The two first (Walking with Dinosaurs and Walking with Beasts) are for now the two sole Bartlett's scores having been commercialised.
Ben is frequently used as a shortened version of the given name Benjamin (as well as Benedict, Bengt, Bennett, Benoit, Benvolio, or Ebenezer, among other names). It is also used as a given name in its own right.
Ben (in Hebrew: בֶּן, Son of) forms part of surnames, e.g. Abraham ben Abraham (Hebrew: אברהם בן אברהם). Bar-, "son of" in Aramaic, is also seen, e.g. Simon bar Kokhba (Hebrew: שמעון בר כוכבא). The Arabic "Bin" (بن) or "Ibn" (ابن), also meaning "son of" is an obvious cognate.
Bartlett or Bartlet may refer to:
Benjamin Bartlett (1714–1787), was an English numismatical and topographical writer.
Bartlett was of an old-established quaker family at Bradford, Yorkshire, where his father was an apothecary, having for his apprentice the afterwards celebrated Dr John Fothergill. At an early age Bartlett showed a great aptitude for antiquarian pursuits. He left Bradford for London, where he set up an apothecary's business in Red Lion Street. This, however, he was eventually obliged to relinquish on account of failing health, resigning it to his partner, Mr. French. In his spare time he formed an extensive collection of English coins and seals from the Saxon time downwards, which was sold by auction after his death. His knowledge in the various departments of numismatology was most extensive, and we are told that it would have been difficult to find his equal on this subject. In 1764 he was elected a fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, and at the time of his death was their treasurer.
The Walking with... series (also known as the Trilogy of Life or Walking with Prehistoric Life series) is a collection of shows that are produced by the BBC and are made by Impossible Pictures. The aim of the series and specials, along with its books, is to recreate extinct animals and presents them as a wildlife documentary. All the shows (with the exception of Chased by Dinosaurs and Sea Monsters) focus on one individual of a certain species or that species as the main characters in each episode. Creatures were realized through computer graphics and animatronics and are directed by Tim Haines. The concept for the series was imagined by Tim Haines and Jasper James.
This six-part series is focused on the rise, success, and the demise of the dinosaurs and other animals in the Mesozoic Era.
This six-part series is a sequel to Walking with Dinosaurs, and its focus is on the world after the dinosaurs, and the rise of the mammals in the Cenozoic Era. It was released in North America as Walking with Prehistoric Beasts.

Please Subscribe http://www.omenlongboards.com/ Ben Bartlett has been riding for Omen Longboards forever, and never complains about his boards getting too thrashed. He is one of our longest team members, and his no frills freeriding is fun to watch. Check out Ben rocking the Omen Spawn. Expect more from him this summer!!! After this video was filmed, we took Ben's old board from him, and made him ride a brand new one. He took first at Boomtown 11 slide jam one week later.
This footage is a little outdated, but it is still better than most of the skating we see. Ben Bartlett is a slide machine and makes sliding look incredibly easy, and this video showcases some of the massive slides and other-worldly control that Ben has while sliding. Benjamin Bartlett - "Islands of Green" from the BBC TV miniseries "Walking with Dinosaurs" soundtrack. This song at the beginning of the episode "Cruel Sea" introduces us to Oxfordshire, England, 150 million years ago, when it was a chain of tropical islands sitting in a warm, shallow sea.

Benjamin Bartlett - "Battle of the Salt Plains" from the BBC TV series The Ballad of Big Al. This really reminds me of something by Hans Zimmer such as Gladiator or Pirates of the Caribbean. Pump up the volume! All rights reserved, no infringement intended.
