"GOLD'S PRICE MANIPULATION" WILL END WITH "BANKSTERS' BLOOD RUNNING IN THE STREETS"!
"GOLD'S PRICE MANIPULATION" WILL END WITH "BANKSTERS' BLOOD RUNNING IN THE STREETS"!
Germany's blowback against gold manipulation is accelerating. Following the report that Bafin took a hard line against precious metals manipulation, after its president Eike Koenig said possible manipulation of precious metals "is worse than the Libor-rigging scandal", the response has trickled down to Germany and Europe's largest bank, Deutsche Bank, which announced that it would withdraw from the appropriately named gold and silver price "fixing", as European regulators investigate suspected manipulation of precious metals prices by banks.. As a reminder, Deutsche Bank is one of five banks involved in the twice-daily gold fix for global price setting and said it was quitting the process after withdrawing from the bulk of its commodities business.. The scramble away from gold fixing was certainly assisted by the recent first (of many) manipulation expose in the legacy media, when Bloomberg wrote about it. And sure enough, with Germany already very sensitive to the topic of its gold repatriation, and specifically why it is taking so long, it was only a matter of time before any German involvement in gold manipulation escalated to the very top.. From Reuters: "Deutsche Bank is withdrawing its participation in the gold and silver benchmark setting process following the significant scaling back of our commodities business.. We remain fully committed to our precious metals business," it said in a statement.. In mid-December, German banking regulator Bafin demanded documents from Deutsche Bank under an inquiry into suspected manipulation of benchmark gold and silver prices by banks, the Financial Times reported, citing sources.. Bafin declined to comment, but its President Elke Koenig said earlier that it was understandable that the topic was attracting widespread concern.. "These allegations (about currencies and precious metals) are particularly serious, because such reference values are based - unlike LIBOR and Euribor - typically on real transactions in liquid markets and not on estimates of the banks," she said in a speech.. Needless to say, manipulation of the gold market would not be exactly novel to a bank which has also been named in cases related to the sub-prime crisis, credit default swaps, mortgages, tax evasion and a decade-old lawsuit suit brought by the heirs of late media mogul Leo Kirch, who accuse the bank of undermining the business.. Reuters also reports that Deutsche is now actively marketing its gold and silver fixing seats to another LBMA member, however now that the cat is out of the bag on the gold fixing manipulation scheme (the first of many), it is likely that others will seek to follow in Deutsche's footsteps and seek to put as much distance between themselves and the wood-paneled room once located in the Rothschild office on St. Swithin's Lane in London.. So if everyone exits the London fixing market, what happens then? "It wouldn't surprise me if the other banks were looking at pulling out as well. Why would they want the aggravation?" said the source, who declined to be named.. "The more worrying point is that, if you don't have the fixing, what do you have? There's a lot of contractual business done on the gold fix, and if you've got no basis for where the price is, someone is going to lose out"...- published: 18 Jan 2014

The Silver Fix Ends-Barclay's Fined For Gold Manipulation
The Silver Fix Ends-Barclay's Fined For Gold Manipulation
The Silver fix is in May 27th 2014 set at $19.25 The old London, silver price fix set by Deutsche Bank, HSBC, and Bank of Nova Scotia will cease in August nearly 117-year-old price-fixing and facing greater regulatory scrutiny and forcing major changes with how all precious metals prices are set. The London Bullion Market Association LBMA is considering consultation on a possible alternative to the silver fixing into a legally watertight system that can then applied to other precious metal fixes Four banks now set the gold price fix HSBC, Societe Generale, Bank of Nova Scotia and Barclays. Deutsche Bank resigned in May without a replacement because no one would purchase that seat of distinction. It used to be very sought after, to be able to hold the seat but now it looks like no one wants to be involved. Regulatory agencies, including Bafin in Germany have come out publicly, indicating they are looking into the gold and silver fixed pricing. Barclays was just find $44 million in suspicious price-fixing of the gold markets and a trader named Daniel James Plunkett was fined as well. It looks like Plunkett ahead of an option expiration manipulated the gold price, so that he did not have to pay $3.9 million to a customer and thickened his trading book by 1.7 million. Looks like the seat at the gold and silver, price-fixing market manipulation is coming to an end. First, the silver, price-fixing is going to end in August. The gold price fixing end will probably follow. Regulatory agency in Germany under Bafin came out publicly that the gold and silver, price-fixing in precious metals is a bigger scandal, then the LIBOR scandal where traders and banks were fixing the interest rates. Banks arrive at the gold price fix through matching buy and sell orders during the twice-daily telephone call with miners, jewelers and central banks -commercial banks. The nearly 117-year-old London, silver and gold, price-fixing is coming to an end. The end of silver manipulation? The end to the silver fix in August 2014 cannot come soon enough. The fix began in 1919, 5 dealers met at the offices of Rothschild and sons in the London financial district, what we would call back room meetings. The problem with fixing the price is that the same banks had clients with precious metals to buy and sell so it would seem that a huge conflict of interest exists when banks have control over markets. Apart from the Western banking system and the LBMA Bullion banks the Shanghai Gold Exchange SGE is on target to launch a global trading platform that will challenge the New York Fed & London banks. China wants a greater say in gold price fixing, being that the Shanghai Gold exchange is backed by physical gold rather than paper contracts you can see how this is going to be a huge competitor to the Western banking system and it could ultimately lead to their demise. SGE is the world's biggest physical gold exchange, but right now it's confined to domestic market volumes of trading.- published: 28 May 2014

Barclays fined and trader banned over gold trade price fixing attempt - economy
Barclays has been fined 26 million pounds (32 million euros) over attempted manipulation of the gold market. Britain's Financial Conduct Authority said there were control failings for Barclays' setting of gold prices over a nine year period up until last year but the key event which led to the fine occurred in June 2012. It also banned former Barclays trader Daniel James Plunkett for exploiting weaknesses in the British bank's systems. He was also fine 95,600 pounds (118,000 euros). Tracey ... LBMA: Fake Justice for Real Criminals
LBMA: Fake Justice for Real Criminals
The Financial Conduct Authority in that unrivaled cesspool of financial criminals--London--recently found that Barclays had mulcted its own customers out of millions by pledging gold that the bank didn't have in order to defraud the bank's own customers out of valuable options positions. Faced with the victim-strewn crime scene, the FCA hit Barclays with... an apologetic lecture on an embroidered wank shammy. Though Barclays' crimes in the gold market span a decade, the FCA fined the bank based on a single day of conduct that authorities reluctantly concluded rose to the level of a poorly executed prank. The FCA swept the bank's other 2000 gold robberies--and the criminal enterprise of which they are but a part--forever under the rug. Damn, it feels good to be bankster. For the other 99.99%, just lie back and think of England. Source material: http://www.fca.org.uk/your-fca/documents/final-notices/2014/barclays-bank-plc- published: 04 Jun 2014
