Based in England, Nikhil Mathur is employed as an Investment Banker and has a idealist girlfriend in Radhika Awasthi. His friend, Jignesh Patel, works as a Security Guard in a mall and is the guardian of Veer, his late sister's son, and under close scrutiny of the Social Services Department. Global recession takes a toll on Nikhil - he not only loses his job but also his investments, while Jignesh gets fired for failing to prevent theft by a minor. Nikhil is unable to find employment and after Jignesh gets fired from yet another job, the duo end up working as male escorts with 'Desi Boyz' as Rocco and Hunter, and bring in enough income to keep them going. Radhika soon finds out and dumps Nikhil, while a Social Worker, Vikrant Mehra, takes custody of Veer and has him placed in a foster home. With their lives turned upside down, the duo blame each other and part company. Unable to even speak with Radhika, Nikhil is dismayed when he finds her in the company of a new boyfriend, Ajay Bapat. With the adverse publicity generated by their involvement as male escorts - and the recession holding strong - what will the duo do in a country where people, including educationists, racially profile ethnic minorities with impunity.

Tom Lane is the star columnist for the media conglomerate owned San Francisco Sun newspaper. The company is thinking about increasing Tom's exposure by producing a new television show around him. Liz Madison is the advice columnist for the little read community newspaper, the Marin County Voice, which is a throwback to gentler times. Besides their journalistic occupations, one other similar aspect between Tom and Liz is that they are both currently single, with their friends and family doing whatever they can to find that special someone for their personal life. On November 2, the staff at the Voice learn that the Sun ownership has bought their newspaper, with the probable goal of folding it into the operations of the Sun. If this move does happen, the staff at the Voice will lose their jobs. To fight back, Liz decides to change her column to an editorial espousing the meaning of Christmas and the newspaper to the community. Because of the feisty and entertaining stance of Liz's new column, the circulation of the Voice increases so much so that the owner has second thoughts about folding it, which in turn would put Tom's new television show in jeopardy. To protect his career advancement, Tom decides to write a counterpoint column to Liz's, his about instilling some practicality into Christmas. The competing columns become a personal battle for the two columnists. But as Tom and Liz spew their mutual loathing for each other, their respective friends try to convince them of the old adage that there is a fine line between love and hate.

Being a lone young boy in the 'hood" is dangerous and unpleasant. This is what Max experiences when he fools a gang of local toughs who cornered him at school. The gang finds out that the key he gave them is of no value in committing a robbery, and they chase him through the streets of his neighborhood, bent on revenge. He tries to escape by slipping into the open door of an old warehouse, but they follow him there, too. While running from them through aisles filled with all kinds of stuff, he bumps into an old boom box. By doing that, he manages to release Kazaam, a genie who has been held captive for thousands of years. In order to stay free, Kazaam must give Max three wishes.

Mr. Morris, the owner of a large metropolitan department store, gives jobs to paroled ex-convicts in an effort to help them reform and go straight. Among his 'employed-prison-graduates' are Helen Roberts and Joe Dennis, working as sales clerks. Joe is in love with Helen and asks her to marry him, but she is forbidden to marry as she is still on parole, but she says yes and they are married. The europhile Deputy Prime Minister insisted that Britain was "better off in Europe - richer, stronger, safer", but the leader of the eurosceptic UK Independence Party told viewers that, if there were a referendum now on whether the UK should enter the EU, "you wouldn't join it". The two men joined battle in the event hosted by LBC radio and televised live by news channels, less than two months before the May 22 elections to the European Parliament. Neither Prime Minister David Cameron nor Labour leader Ed Miliband took part in a debate billed as pitching the party of In against the party of Out. After winning the toss of a pound coin, Mr Farage invited the Liberal Democrat leader to "open the batting", and Mr Clegg made a brief opening address, staring straight into the TV camera as he did in the general election leaders' debates in 2010. "Make no mistake - if we cut ourselves off from Europe, from the countries that we trade with more than anyone else, then our hard-won economic recovery will simply be thrown away," said Mr Clegg. "We are better off in Europe - richer, stronger, safer - and that's why I will fight to keep us in, for the sake of jobs, for the sake of our clout in the world, for the sake of Britain." But Mr Farage retorted: "This debate is between a tired status quo defending a crumbling EU that frankly isn't working any more, and a fresh approach that says let's be friendly with Europe, let's trade with Europe, but let's not be governed by their institutions." The Ukip leader said that if Britain was voting now on whether to join the EU, it would be presented with the offer "to join a club that will cost £55 million a day as a membership fee, and there will be thousands of new laws over which our own Parliament and you the electorate can make no difference, and mean an open border, unconditionally, to 485 million people from across the whole of Europe - many of them form very poor countries - who can come here to work and live and settle and bring their families". And he told the audience: "I know the result of that referendum: You wouldn't join it." When questions arose some time ago about whether or not Nick Fury was going to get killed off in next month's Captain America: The Winter Soldier, we were definitely pleased to hear Samuel Jackson dish that Fury would play a part in Avengers: Age of Ultron. However, Jackson is telling Yahoo UK that we shouldn't expect too much screen time from our favorite Agent of SHIELD. In regards to Age of Ultron, Jackson said "I'm not doing so much, I dont think. It's another one of those people who have powers fighting people who have powers [movies], there's not a lot I could do except shoot a gun." While I love myself some Nick Fury, I kind of have to agree with him. Other than showing up to make some sort of epic inspirational one-liner in a cameo (which sounds like what they have planned) I would much rather see all of the superheroes doing their thing versus Nick Fury shooting a gun. And with the additions of the twins, aka Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, I feel like there is going to be so much going on that we will have plenty of things to be excited about. However, with the broad expansion of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it does raise some questions about how Nick Fury's character will come in to play in future Marvel movies. Jackson has said that his contract, which has him attached to nine movies, will be running out soon. After Age Of Ultron, Jackson would have appeared in seven Marvel films, not including his cameo on ABC's Agents of Shield. And with Jackson's contract coming to an end soon (soon in "Hollywood terms"), a lot of fanboys are still hoping that one of his remaining projects will be a Nick Fury standalone movie. Here's hopin'!
