Liz Carmouche (born February 19, 1984) is an American mixed martial arts fighter. Carmouche currently competes for Strikeforce in the women's welterweight division.

Carmouche was born in Lafayette, Louisiana, raised in Okinawa, Japan and is of Lebanese, Irish and Cajun descent. She currently resides in San Diego, California.
Prior to becoming a professional MMA fighter, Carmouche spent five years in the United States Marine Corps during which she did three tours of duty in the Middle East.
Carmouche started her professional career in 2010, winning her first two fights via submission and TKO, respectively.
On August 13, 2010, she made her debut for the Strikeforce promotion at Strikeforce Challengers 10 in a reserve bout for their one-night Women's Welterweight tournament. She defeated Colleen Schneider via unanimous decision after two rounds.
Kaitlin R. Young (born September 15, 1985) is an American female mixed martial artist. She competed in the bantamweight division for EliteXC.
Young began training in martial arts at age 14, where she explored her interest in taekwondo and earned a black belt.
After attending a taekwondo national conference, Young discovered Thai boxing. She signed up for classes at the Minnesota Martial Arts Academy after attending a Thai boxing event.
Graduating at the top of her class from Centennial High School in 2004, Young enrolled in the University of Minnesota, with a major in kinesiology.
Young rose to fame after winning the one-night 2007 HOOKnSHOOT Women's Grand Prix with three knockouts in a combined time of just 1:45.
She then faced Sarah Schneider at Tuff-N-Uff: "Thompson vs. Troyer" on February 1, 2008, but was defeated by a second-round armbar.
On May 31, 2008, Young was defeated by Gina Carano at EliteXC: Primetime on CBS after the second round when the ringside physician declared her unable to continue.
Ronda Rousey (born February 1, 1987) is an American judoka and mixed martial artist and the current Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion. She has finished all of her opponents by armbar in the first round. She formerly trained at the Olympic Training Center in Wakefield, Massachusetts under guidance of Jimmy Pedro and is now part of Team Hayastan in Santa Monica, California.
Rousey trains under Gokor Chivichyan and Edmond Tarverdyan of the Glendale Fighting Club in Glendale, CA. Rousey also trains with Leo Frincu and Gene Lebell, along with Team Hayastan fighters such as Manny Gamburyan, Karen Darabedyan, Sako Chivitchian and Sevak Magakian. She is the former Strikeforce Women's Bantamweight Champion and the current Freestyle Cage Fighting Women's Bantamweight Champion. She has also competed and won a silver medal in the FILA Grappling Championships.
Tate is currently the #6-ranked pound-for-pound female MMA fighter in the world by MMARising.com and the #3-ranked 135-pound female fighter according to the Unified Women's MMA Rankings.
Tate wrestled on the boys' wrestling team in high school. In 2005, she won the high school women's state championship and went on to win nationals at the World Team Trials in the 158 lb division.
While attending Central Washington University Miesha's colleague, Rosalia Watson, encouraged her to attend the mixed martial arts club with her. Soon after attending, Tate officially joined the mixed martial arts sport club at Central Washington University that was run by her current boyfriend and trainer, Bryan Caraway. She amassed a 5-1 amateur record in MMA before turning pro.
Jan Finney is an American female mixed martial artist. She currently competes in the 135-pound bantamweight division.
Finney played softball at Kenton Ridge High School and Urbana University.
Finney made her professional MMA debut on November 6, 2004 at HOOKnSHOOT: Evolution and defeated Rikki Burnett by Unanimous Decision.
She entered the 2005 HOOKnSHOOT Women's Grand Prix on November 19, 2005, but was defeated by Julie Kedzie in the second round of the tournament. She faced Kedzie again in a rematch on October 7, 2006 at KOTC: Meltdown, but was once again defeated by Unanimous Decision.
Finney faced Keiko Tamai at BodogFight - Costa Rica on February 16, 2007. She lost the fight via armbar submission in the second round.
Finney was scheduled to face Gina Carano at Elite XC/K-1 HERO's Dynamite!! USA on June 2, 2007, but the fight was cancelled after Carano was forced to withdraw due to illness.
Finney made her ShoXC debut on July 27, 2007 against Shayna Baszler. She was defeated by armbar submission in the first round.
