Malalai Joya on the attack on 14-year-old Malala Yousafzai

Malala Yousafzai was shot by the Pakistani Taliban because she did not remain silent about the ongoing crimes and brutalities against women; because, despite her young age, she had the consciousness to stand for her rights and say ‘no’ to the terrorism and misogyny of the creatures of the Stone Age. The world should know that the West, and in particular the U.S. government, have nurtured, supported and armed these dirty inhuman bands for the past three decades.

Apparently it is OK to kill kids if you are the American ruling class. Only turning this upside down world right way up – working class revolution – can stop the murder of the innocents.

The “war on terror” has devastated Iraq and Afghanistan, and is destabilising a number of other countries. The US has stepped up its interventions in Pakistan, […]

Barack Obama is a war criminal. His drones last week killed 147 people in Western Afghanistan, most of them women and children. According to Pakistan’s Daily Times: Farah province Deputy Governor Yunus Rasooli told Reuters that residents of the village of Geraani had provided 90 names and residents of neighbouring Ganj Abad village another 57. To understand Pakistan’s present we need to understand two things – it was born of imperialism and is today the child of imperialism. Pakistan is a poor country. It has a population of about 170 million people, 60 percent of whom earn less than US$2 a day – the UN poverty line. 97 percent of its population is […]
