This is response to InspiringPhilosophy's video "Quantum Physics Debunks Materialism". The Book of Revelation & the Seven Seals
The Book of Revelation & the Seven Seals
The Book of Revelation from the New Testament, and the breaking of the Seven seals. The Book of Revelation, often known as Revelation, Apocalypse, or by a number of variants expanding upon its authorship or subject matter, is the final book of the New Testament and occupies a central part in Christian eschatology. Written in Koine Greek, its title is derived from the first word of the text, apokalypsis, meaning "unveiling" or "revelation". The author of the work identifies himself in the text as "John" and says that he was on Patmos, an island in the Aegean, when he "heard a great voice" instructing him to write the book. This John is traditionally supposed to be John the Apostle, although recent scholarship has suggested other possibilities including a putative figure given the name John of Patmos. Most modern scholars believe it was written around 95 AD, with some believing it dates from around 70 AD. The book spans three literary genres: epistolary, apocalyptic, and prophetic. It begins with an epistolary address to the reader followed by an apocalyptic description of a complex series of events derived from prophetic visions which the author claims to have seen. These include the appearance of a number of figures and images which have become important in Christian eschatology, such as the Whore of Babylon and the Beast, and culminate in the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. The obscure and extravagant imagery has led to a wide variety of interpretations: historicist interpretations see in Revelation a broad view of history; preterist interpretations treat Revelation as mostly referring to the events of the apostolic era (1st century), or—at the latest—the fall of the Roman Empire; futurists believe that Revelation describes future events; and idealist or symbolic interpretations consider that Revelation does not refer to actual people or events, but is an allegory of the spiritual path and the ongoing struggle between good and evil. The Book of Revelation is the only apocalyptic document in the New Testament canon, though there are short apocalyptic passages in various places in the Gospels and the Epistles. The author of the work provided no title for it. However, a title came into usage from the first word of the book in Koine Greek: apokalypsis, meaning "unveiling" or "revelation". It is also known as the Book of the Revelation of Saint John the Divine or the Apocalypse of John (both in reference to its author), or the Book of the Revelation of Jesus Christ (in reference to its opening line), or simply Revelation (often erroneously called Revelations in contrast to the singular in the original Koine), or the Apocalypse. The word "apocalypse" is also used for other works of a similar nature in the literary genre of apocalyptic literature. Such literature is "marked by distinctive literary features, particularly prediction of future events and accounts of visionary experiences or journeys to heaven, often involving vivid symbolism." The Seven Seals is a phrase in the Book of Revelation that refers to seven symbolic seals that secure the book or scroll, that John of Patmos saw in his Revelation of Jesus Christ. The opening of the seals of the Apocalyptic document occurs in Revelation Chapters 5-8. In John's vision, the only one worthy to open the book is referred to as both the "Lion of Judah" and the "Lamb having seven horns and seven eyes".[5:5-6] Upon the Lamb opening a seal from the book, a judgment is released or an apocalyptic event occurs. The opening of the first four seals release The Four Horsemen, each with their own specific mission.[6:1-8] The opening of the fifth seal releases the cries of martyrs for the "word of God".[6:9-11] The sixth seal prompts cataclysmic events.[6:12-17] The seventh seal cues seven angelic trumpeters who in turn cue the seven bowl judgments. Certain words and phrases used in Revelation had a clearer meaning to ancient readers familiar with objects of their time. For example, important documents were sent written on a papyrus scroll sealed with several wax seals. Wax seals were typically placed across the opening of a scroll, so that only the proper person in the presence of witnesses, could open the document. This type of "seal" is frequently used in a figurative sense, in the book of Revelation, and only the Lamb is worthy to break off these seals. From the Reformation to the middle of the 19th century, the seals in Revelation have been interpreted through various methods, such as the historicist view that most Protestants adopted and the views of preterism and futurism that post-Reformation Catholic circles promoted. Idealism was also a fairly major view that became realized since the time of Augustine, Bishop of Hippo (AD 345-430).- published: 11 Dec 2013

Fatal Assistance | Trailer | New Release
Opens Feb 28: http://filmlinc.com/newreleases Award-winning Haitian born filmmaker Raoul Peck takes us on a two-year journey inside the challenging, contradictory, and colossal rebuilding efforts in post-earthquake Haiti. Through its provocative and radical point of view, Fatal Assistance offers a devastating indictment of the international community's post-disaster idealism. The film dives headlong into the complexity of the reconstruction process and the practices and impact of worldwide humanitarian and development aid, revealing the disturbing extent of a general failure. We learn that a major portion of the money pledged to Haiti was never disbursed, nor made it into the actual reconstruction. Fatal Assistance leads us to one clear conclusion: current aid policies and practice in Haiti need to stop immediately.- published: 13 Feb 2014

KILLUMINATI TRAILER 2014
Resurrection (anglicized from Latin resurrectio) is the concept of a living being coming back to life after death. It is a religious concept, where it is used in two distinct respects: a belief in the resurrection of individual souls that is current and ongoing (Christian idealism, realized eschatology), or else a belief in a singular "Resurrection of the Dead" event at the end of the world. The Resurrection of the Dead is a standard eschatological belief in the Abrahamic religions. In a number of ancient religions, a life-death-rebirth deity is a deity which dies and resurrects. The death and resurrection of Jesus is the central focus of Christianity. The soul is believed by some to be the divine and immortal part of the human being, and some believe it is the actual vehicle by which people are resurrected.[1] However, theological debate ensues with regard to what kind of resurrection is factual -- either a spiritual resurrection with a spirit body (i.e. Heaven), or a material resurrection with a restored human body.[2] While most Christians believe Jesus' resurrection was in a material body, a very small minority believe it was spiritual.[3][4][5]- published: 06 Jan 2014

The Public and Fire Management: Conventional Wisdom vs. Reality by Sarah McCaffrey
Abstract As more people live in areas with high fire hazard, active involvement of the public is crucial to improving forest health and decreasing wildfire risk. One barrier to effectively engaging the public may be that many traditional communications about wildfire the public are based on conventional wisdoms that may or may not hold true today. Developing an accurate understanding of public views of fire and forest management is therefore critical in designing policy and outreach that effectively engages the public and ensures that limited resources address the issues that are of actual, rather than perceived, public concern. This talk will summarize findings from over sixty social science studies on fire, with particular emphasis on the accuracy of various accepted truths about the public and fire management. It will also discuss the variables that actually influence approval of different fire management practices and what has been learned about how to most effectively foster changes in behavior and social norms. Biography Sarah McCaffrey is a research forester with the "People and Their Environments: Social Science Supporting Natural Resource Policy and Management" unit of the United States Forest Service. She received her BA in International Relations from Stanford University and her MS and PhD from UC Berkeley's Wildland Resource Science. McCaffrey is currently responsible for a National Fire Plan grant examining the social acceptability of fuels treatment methods. She has initiated over twenty studies in a variety of ecological and geographical settings across the country, examining a range of topics including what shapes acceptability of prescribed fire and forest thinning, why people do or do not implement defensible space practices, and social issues around post-fire restoration.- published: 15 Feb 2014

V for Vau Vulcan Venus Makes a Speech
V for Vau Vulcan Venus Makes a Speech
Read below for more on the meaning behind the V: Aside from the occultic V emblem being adopted by the protagonist, he does make a good point which somehow the ignorant people listened to and took action upon. In the real world though, there are no heroes who single handedly start a revolution and complete it. Leadership must be combined with money, idealism, and consensus to get anywhere. Perhaps this is why the protagonist is named V as that is the hidden dimension from which all the historical anarchists and communists have gotten their power from. The V and the peace sign have many different interpretations but two things are for certain in its analysis; conventional thought is ignorant of its origins and there is a common reoccurring element amongst all interpretations. Firstly, the V is symbolic of Vulcan, a pagan fire/thunderbolt deity who is represented by Tubal-Cain in Freemasonry. He is represented as such because in Masonic lore stretching to an epoch before the Biblical flood, Tubal-Cain was said to have founded the craft of blacksmithing which relies heavily on fire and heat conduction (the fire and the thunderbolt of Vulcan). The thunderbolt is also significant as Thor, Vulcan's counterpart in Nordic mysticism wields a hammer in which Tubal-Cain uses to make metals. Note also reader, these are allegories and not historically proven, but the elitists who run this sphere take this very seriously as they do astrology and the Qaballah. Therefore, in some form or another, its philosophy has implications for all of us. Moving forward, fire as was the fruit of knowledge of good and evil were gifts to humanity from Prometheus and Lucifer; the worldly/materialistic conscious from which civilization could prosper. It was the source of all evil as well, as man could either use it for good or evil, which is why saviors such as Jesus Christ have come forth to redeem humanity through the offering of their own divine nature. It is no surprise then that Catholics eat the body of Christ during the ritual of Communion. The Christos, the mysterious god man that is imprisoned within every individual should also be noted as a balance to counteract the original sin and its significance to Christ himself. Thus from this discussion, we can establish that V is a generative power which is why Tubal-Cain (Vulcan) is a play on words to represent the penis. The fact that Lucifer is represented by Venus and is the deity that Vulcan marries in mythology should also be noted. Lucifer is represented by Venus in this case because this planet can only be seen during sunrise or sunset given it is closer to the Sun than the Earth. As such, ancient peoples have called Venus "the false morning star" because it sometimes deceptively rises over the horizon before the actual morning star aka the Sun rises (In the Bible, Lucifer and Jesus are both called morning stars but the latter is the true one). If the Satanic and Luciferian allusions to V aren't becoming established yet, consider the fact that V is the Roman numeral for 5, which is the geometric figure that must be etched into the ground in a perverted or upside-down fashion to summon the hierarchies of Assiah; Satan, Molech, and sometimes Raziel. Indeed, such a figure is integrated into the roadways of Washington D.C. with the "muzzle of the Goat of Mendes" touching the Whitehouse. There is also an Egyptian phallus nearby, the Tubal-Cain if you will, that stands 555 ft and 111 ft in the air which adds up to the number of man and the devil (666) of which all who wish to partake in money exchange must accept in the future. Another way to approach the V, is from a purely Satanic viewpoint in that the Hebrew letter Vau is shaped in the form of a nail. Thus, some Satanists employ this symbol because nails were used to crucify Jesus; the savior. These allusions to chaos and generation (traits of Satan/Lucifer/Venus/Prometheus/Vulcan) do not stop here for we can add Eris of Greek mythology to this list too who is the prime deity of Discordianism; the one who sows the apple of discord. In Discordianism, there is something called the Law of Fives or Law of V's which states that all things happen in fives, or are divisible by or are multiples of five, or are somehow directly or indirectly appropriate to 5. Seeing as people who practice this philosophy see the world as chaotic, the V or five is the number that is most directly related to chaos. To conclude this long rambling consider the peace symbol which contains an inverted V within its matrix. This was actually the cross upon which St. Peter was crucified upside-down by the Romans and the symbol of which the Nazi's inscribed upon the tombstone of dead SS officers. Thus, when watching anything out of Hollywood (hollow-wood; the magicians wand) consider also what the magicians have laced within the movies. Most of the time, as was in the Matrix, there are messages being sent beyond that what the truth-seeker can see.- published: 06 Nov 2013

The soundtrack was also processed with volume normalization, noise reduction, clipping reduction, and/or equalization (the resulting sound, though not perfect, is far less noisy than the original). http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ideal_(ethics) An ideal is a principle or value that one actively pursues as a goal, usually in the context of ethics. Ideals are particularly important in ethics, as the order in which one places them tends to determine the degree to which one reveals them as real and sincere. It is the application, in ethics, of a universal. It is roughly similar to the relative intrinsic values. Someone who claims to have an ideal of honesty but is willing to lie to protect a friend is demonstrating that not only does he hold friendship as an ideal, but, that it is a more important one than honesty. Thus ideals can be seen to be similar to values. However, the -ism of ideals is slightly contrasted with idealism (which is the doctrine that ideas, or thought, make up either the whole or an indispensable aspect of any full reality, so that a world of material objects containing no thought either could not exist as it is experienced, or would not be fully "real.")... In applied ethics In some theories of applied ethics, such as that of Rushworth Kidder, there is importance given to such orders as a way to resolve disputes. In law, for instance, a judge is sometimes called on to resolve the balance between the ideal of truth, which would advise hearing out all evidence, and the ideal of fairness. In politics In politics ideals play a pivotal role. During the French Revolution, the principles of "Liberty, Equality, Brotherhood" were raised to the status of ideals. The Ten Key Values of the Green Party are likewise raised to such status today. In fact, most political movements have a certain set of ideals. However, in many cases, one can easily find instances where ideals were "not lived up to" - some of which are cases where one simply proved to outweigh another for some specific decision, or where all were compromised simply to retain the power to continue to pursue them. Idols and heroes A different form of ideal is an idol or hero, who is held up as a moral example. Since this is an actual person or fictional character, it is too complex and multi-faceted to be considered an ideal in the abstract sense. However, when they are encountered in the form of a story, with only a few traits on display, they are a simplified archetype from which one can very easily derive stereotypes or mimicry. In Islam, for instance, the life of Muhammad is held up as "ideal", but must be interpreted for believers through the tale of his life, or sira, and his many sayings, the hadith. Ideal and virtue Given the complexity of putting ideals into practice, and resolving conflicts between them, it is not uncommon to see them reduced to dogma. One way to avoid this, according to Bernard Crick, is to have ideals that themselves are descriptive of a process, rather than an outcome. His political virtues try to raise the practical habits useful in resolving disputes into ideals of their own. A virtue, in general, is an ideal that one can make a habit. Relative ideal In formal axiology, Robert S. Hartman contended that being ideal means that something is the best member of the set of all things of that class. For example, the ideal student is the best member of the set of all students in exactly the same way that the ideal circle is the best circle that can be imagined of the class of all circles. Since we can define the properties that the ideal member of a class should have, the value of any actual object can be empirically determined by comparing it to the ideal...- published: 13 Aug 2013
