Venezuela: Maduro holds talks with opposition leaders

Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro held a meeting with leaders of the country\'s anti-government protest movement in the Miraflores Palace in Caracas on Thursday. Dozens of people have died in during violent clashes over the past several weeks, with the latest death of a police officer in the city of Barquisimeto coming only hours before the meeting.

Joining the president were officials from the UNASUR nations of Brazil, Colombia and Ecuador, and the papal nuncio Father Aldo Giordano, who read a message from Pope Francis urging dialogue and an end to violence.

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 Confirm They HAVE Found Signals Consistent With Black Box - 7April

Signals \'consistent\' with black boxes

Search officials say signals consistent with those emitted by data recorders have been detected, but it could take days to confirm their source of origin.

An Australian vessel searching for the missing Malaysia Airlines plane has detected signals consistent with those from aircraft black boxes.

Australian defence vessel Ocean Shield acquired the signal twice, once for more than two hours, Australia said.

Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, who is leading the search, called it the \

A 43-year-old man has been charged with the murders of 29 people who were killed in the 1998 Omagh bomb.

The Real IRA attack was the worst single atrocity of the Troubles in Northern Ireland. The victims included a woman who was pregnant with twins.

Seamus Daly, from Culloville, County Monaghan, was arrested by serious crime branch detectives in Newry on Monday.

He was one of four men ordered to pay more than £1.5m in damages to the victims\' families in a civil case.
Denied involvement

No-one has ever been convicted of carrying out the Omagh bombing in a criminal court.

However, relatives of some of the victims brought a landmark civil action against five men they claimed were responsible, including Seamus Daly.

The court ruled that he and three of the others were responsible, and they were later ordered to pay more than £1.5m in damages.

Seamus Daly has always denied any involvement in the bombing.

Michael Gallagher, whose son Aidan was killed in the bombing, described the decision to bring charges as an \

http://usawatchdog.com/weekly-news-wrap-up-4-11-14/ I think the Ukraine crisis is the big story, and it is being underreported that it has both financial and real war implications. Let\'s start with what Russia is doing. It is now going to issue a new bond based in the yuan. Are you getting that? This is yet another move away from using the U.S. dollar to settle international trade. Russia is also hiking the price of natural gas to Ukraine by at least 50% in May.

Lois Lerner, the former IRS chief at the heart of the scandal targeting conservative groups such as the Tea Party, is now a target herself. House Republicans have sent a criminal referral to the Justice Department. The GOP wants Eric Holder to look into prosecuting her for criminal acts that go against basic First Amendment rights of the Constitution, among other allegations of criminal wrongdoing.

The head of Health and Human Services, Kathleen Sebelius, is stepping down. It is no surprise after the disastrous rollout of Obama Care. It\'s not just the rollout that has most people angry at this law. We now know the overwhelming majority of people are paying way more and getting less.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 : Chinese Ship Discovers Pulse Signal In Indian Ocean - 5 April 2014

Chinese air force plane involved in search for MH370 spots several floating objects in search area

A Chinese patrol ship has discovered Saturday a pulse signal with a frequency of 37.5 kHz in the southern Indian Ocean, state news agency Xinhua reported.

A month after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared, the search operation has been arduous, but Malaysia\'s determination remains undiminished, the nation\'s acting transportation minister said Saturday.

The country is forming three committees to tackle the disappearance of the flight, Hishammuddin Hussein said.
One will tend to the families of passengers aboard the missing flight, the second will oversee the investigation team and a third committee will handle the deployment of assets, he said.

Malaysia will also appoint an independent investigator to lead an investigation team, the acting minister said.

\'Violent chaos\': Libya in deep crisis 2 years since rebels took over

August 26, 2013 13:01

On this day two years ago, Libyan rebels were transferring their government to Tripoli. However, the anniversary is marred by an acute parliamentary crisis, a severe economic slump and the country becoming the main base for Al-Qaeda in the Maghreb.

August could have been a month of festivities in Libya, marking the watershed in the rebels\' fight against Muammar Gaddafi, who had to flee Tripoli. Even though it would still be two months before the fugitive dictator was captured and brutally killed, the insurgents celebrated their victory and had their government transferred from the cradle of the revolution, Benghazi, to the capital.

The euphoria of the revolution has all but gone now, as Libya finds itself mired in deep political crisis as well as economic turmoil.

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 Confirm They HAVE Found Signals Consistent With Black Box - 7April Signals 'consistent' with black boxes Search officials say signals consistent with those emitted by data recorders have been detected, but it could take days to confirm their source of origin. An Australian vessel searching for the missing Malaysia Airlines plane has detected signals consistent with those from aircraft black boxes. Australian defence vessel Ocean Shield acquired the signal twice, once for more than two hours, Australia said. Air Chief Marshal Angus Houston, who is leading the search, called it the "most promising lead" so far. But he said more information was needed: "We haven't found the aircraft yet and we need further confirmation." Subscribe For Breaking News Tags Have they found flight MH370? German Chancellor Angela Merkel has told Greece that the "tough path" of painful spending cuts will pay off, amid demonstrations by thousands of protesters in Athens in a show of anger against her visit. Police fired tear gas on Tuesday to disperse protesters attempting to storm a barricade just blocks away from where Merkel was meeting with Antonio Samaras, Greek prime minister, while small groups of masked youths threw bottles at riot police. Join my facebook page - https://www.facebook.com/Truthtube451 Catch the Kev Baker show every weeknight from 11pm-midnight in the UK, 7pm-8pm EST https://www.truthfrequencyradio.com ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Russian President Vladimir Putin has written to European countries warning that Ukraine's debt crisis has reached a "critical" stage, and could have consequences for gas transit to Europe. "After yesterday's meeting the president held with the government presidium, Putin sent a letter to the heads of European countries buying Russian gas," a source told ITAR-TASS on Thursday, which was shortly confirmed by the President's spokesperson Dmitry Peskov. "The letter expressed extreme concern over the escalating situation, noting its critical nature and putting forth a number of concrete proposals, ....aimed at taking emergency measures, as the situation is urgent," Peskov said. The message has been delivered to several key heads of European states that buy Russian gas, according to Peskov. Russia's biggest gas client is Germany which imports over 25 billion cubic meters of gas from Gazprom each year, about a third of its energy needs. Italy is another big importer, also relying heavily on Russian imports as deliveries from North Africa have proved unreliable. Bulgaria could lose the most, as it imports nearly 90 percent of natural gas supplies from Russia, almost all of which pass through Ukraine. Lithuania, Estonia, Finland, and Latvia import 100 percent of their natural gas from Russia, but not through Ukraine. On Wednesday the President discussed Ukraine's massive debts with leading Russian officials, asking them to refrain from any critical measures against Kiev in terms of gas supplies. Ukraine's total debt to Russia, including the $2.2 billion bill for gas, now stands at $16.6 billion, Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev said on Wednesday. The country's total debt includes unpaid bills from November and December 2013, as well as debt for February and March 2014, according to Gazprom. Gazprom has revoked all discounts and now charges $485 per 1,000 cubic meters of gas, a price Ukraine says it will not be able to pa because it threatens Ukraine's ability to continue normal gas transit operations to Europe. Moscow cut off gas transit through Ukraine to Europe in the winters of 2006 and 2009 over similar unpaid bills to Gazprom, which left parts of Europe without heat. Moscow claims Ukraine illegally siphoned off supplies intended for Europe during this time, an accusation Kiev denies --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The Kev Baker Show see's popular Youtuber TruthTube451 take to the microphone for this his all new project. He was one of four men ordered to pay more than £1.5m in damages to the victims' families in a civil case. Denied involvement No-one has ever been convicted of carrying out the Omagh bombing in a criminal court. Michael Gallagher, whose son Aidan was killed in the bombing, described the decision to bring charges as an "important and positive development". He added: "We have put the police under pressure to pursue the investigation."

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 : Chinese Ship Discovers Pulse Signal In Indian Ocean - 5 April 2014 Chinese air force plane involved in search for MH370 spots several floating objects in search area A Chinese patrol ship has discovered Saturday a pulse signal with a frequency of 37.5 kHz in the southern Indian Ocean, state news agency Xinhua reported. A month after Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 disappeared, the search operation has been arduous, but Malaysia's determination remains undiminished, the nation's acting transportation minister said Saturday. How To Go To Heaven: http://www.jesus-is-savior.com/how_to_be_saved.html http://rt.com/news/libya-gaddafi-fall-anniversary-981/ 'Violent chaos': Libya in deep crisis 2 years since rebels took over August 26, 2013 13:01 On this day two years ago, Libyan rebels were transferring their government to Tripoli. However, the anniversary is marred by an acute parliamentary crisis, a severe economic slump and the country becoming the main base for Al-Qaeda in the Maghreb. August could have been a month of festivities in Libya, marking the watershed in the rebels' fight against Muammar Gaddafi, who had to flee Tripoli. "We do not feel the taste of happiness, security and stability," a resident of Tripoli is cited as saying by Libya Herald, "nor did we have any benefit from the government. People are now feeling insecure and live in fear because of killings that are being witnessed all over Libya." The government's ruling Justice and Construction party, controlled by the Muslim Brotherhood movement, has been facing tough confrontation with the opposition. Fearing the Egypt-style scenario, the president of congress, Nuri Abu Sahmain, had militias allied to the Brotherhood summoned to the capital. The main opposition party, the National Forces Alliance, which mostly consisted in anti-Gaddafi rebels, has announced the suspension of its political activity in protest against the move. "I am not sure that it will be right to assume that there is a government in Libya. There is no army, no police, armed militias are in control. There is violent chaos," Yehudit Ronen, professor of political science at Bar Ilan University, told RT. Human Rights Watch (HRW) says a wave of assassinations has killed dozens of politicians, activists, judges and members of security agencies. "At least 51 people have died in a broadening wave of apparent political assassinations in the cities of Benghazi and Derna in volatile eastern Libya. Authorities have not prosecuted anyone for these crimes," an HRW report of August 8 states. Militias, representing diverse interests have impacted decision-making in Libya. Earlier this year armed groups held the Libyan Foreign Ministry and the Justice Ministry besieged, pushing through the Political Isolation law, according to which Gaddafi-era officials were denied the right to be part of the new government. "All we hear is very troublesome, because we hear about clandestine detention centers, detention centers that are run by militias that are not accountable to anybody," Juan Mendez, UN rapporteur on torture told RT. Unable to cope with militias the government has reportedly turned to Gaddafi-era surveillance techniques, according to anonymous officials the Wall Street Journal. With all of these troubling reports coming out of Libya, there's quite an optimistic vision of the situation though within the General National Congress (GNC). "Now we have improved dramatically. We have security committee for Benghazi. We have a special committee in the GNC that's dealing with the Human Rights Watch," said Suleiman Awad Faraj Zubi, a member of parliament, in an interview with RT. However he admitted that the government did "have a lack of power on the ground in certain areas." Those must be the areas voicing their desire to break away from Libya as Cyrenaica and Fezzan, which are seeking autonomy. Both of the regions possess oil reserves, which could be blocked if the breakaway spirit prevails. Two years after Gaddafi regime fall the country's constitution is yet to be adopted. There are fears that once finally in place, the constitution will fail to address the needs of all of the diverse communities within the country. "Libyan society consists of Arabs, Berbers and Tebu, so the constitution should represent all segments of Libyan society and if any group of Libyan society is ignored, then this means exclusion," Najmi Maylowd, Berber protestor told RT. Earlier in August the Berbers stormed the Libyan parliament to protest against what they believe is their marginalization. The Berbers -- who make up 10 percent of the population -- fear their language and culture are not going to be protected by the future constitution. On July 25, Berbers shut down a gas pipeline, going through their territory in the western district of Nalout. Meanwhile, work at Libya's oilfields and ports have been regularly paralyzed because of sporadic strikes by security guards. "Libya has lost $1.6 billion in oil sales since July 25 until today," Oil Minister Abdelbari al-Arusi was cited by Reuters on August 16. LINK FOR REST
