Sadus is an American thrash metal trio from Antioch, California known for the unique, borderline death/black metal growling of vocalist Darren Travis, and speeding up thrash metal to levels previously unheard of with the help of bassist Steve DiGiorgio whose bass lines truly pushed the limits of the genre.
Sadus came together as a quartet in 1984 consisting of vocalist Darren Travis, guitarist Rob Moore, bassist Steve DiGiorgio and drummer Jon Allen. Two years later the band would release their 1986 D.T.P. (Death To Posers) demotape. These sessions led directly to the inclusion of two tracks on the 1987 Raging Death compilation album. Quick to capitalize on this achievement Sadus stuck their hands in their pockets to self finance the debut album pulling in Metal Church guitarist John Marshall as producer. The pace of progress was quickened as a deal with label Roadrunner Records was secured resulting in a further album Swallowed in Black and touring with the likes of Sepultura and Obituary.
Jon Allen (born Jonathon Allen, 12 May 1977) is an English folk rock singer-songwriter born in Winchester, currently living in London. His debut album Dead Man's Suit was released on 1 June 2009 on Monologue Records. He is best known for the songs "In Your Light" and "Going Home", the later of which featured in a worldwide advert for the Land Rover Freelander 2. His music is evocative of the folk-rock scene of the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Allen attended an alternative progressive school called Sands in Devon and would be the first to admit that he spent most of his time jamming on his drumkit and teaching himself guitar, rather than attending lessons. This led to him featuring in a number of school bands, playing drums. After unveiling his singing ability in public, Allen traded in his computer, bought an electric guitar and amplifier, and so his musical path began. When he was 16, his parents got him a four-track recorder. He began laying down tracks and experimenting with the interaction of different instruments, exploring the multi-track recording process. Allen attended college completing a BTEC in performing arts and the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts (LIPA).

If I can't have your love
I don't want nothing at all
If I can't have your love
I'll keep my heart behind the wall
I don't want to see the sun
Don't want nothing from no one
And night and day don't mean a thing to me
If I can't have your love
I don't want nobody else
If I can't have your love
I'll keep my sorrow to myself
Can't do no go with my time
Got no rhythm got no rhyme
And night and day don't mean a thing to me
Come back and revive my sense
Set fire to my skin
Give me a reason to feel defenceless
Give me a reason to start again
If I can't have your love
I don't want to play the game
If I can't have your love
It would be a lie to love again
I don't have a life to live
If you've got no love to give
And night and day don't mean a thing to me
