Der Pole Kamil Stoch fährt als Doppelsieger von Willingen zu den Olympischen Spielen nach Sotschi. Mit Weiten von 147 und 145 Metern gewann Stoch letztlich klar vor dem wie am Vortag zweitplatzierten Deutschen Severin Freund und Peter Prevc (SLO). Stoch übernahm damit von Prevc die Weltcup-Führung. Bester Österreicher wurde etwas überraschend Stefan Kraft, der gute Bedingungen im zweiten Durchgang zu einer Verbesserung vom 16. auf den siebenten Rang nützte. Tournee-Sieger Thomas Diethart fiel hingegen vom fünften Zwischenrang auf Platz zwölf zurück. Willingen (Große Mühlenkopfschanze; Hill Record: 152m) Final Result: 1. Kamil Stoch również w niedzielę wygrał konkurs Pucharu Świata w skokach narciarskich w niemieckim Willingen. To jego jedenaste zwycięstwo w tym cyklu. Polak odzyskał pozycję lidera klasyfikacji Pucharu Świata. Drugie miejsce zajął Niemiec Severin Freund, a trzecie Słoweniec Peter Prevc. Stoch wygrał także pierwszy, sobotni konkurs w Willingen. Scenariusz niedzielnych zawodów był zbliżony do sobotnich. Podobnie jak dzień wcześniej, po pierwszej serii Stoch był drugi, po skoku na odległość 147 m. Prowadził Prevc - 145 m, podczas gdy w sobotę liderem był jego rodak Jurij Tepes. W finale - Polak oddał skok na odległość 145 m, o 13 metrów dłuższy od Prevca i zapewnił sobie zwycięstwo. Najgroźniejszy rywal spadł na trzecie miejsce. Mistrz świata z Val di Fiemme po dwóch tygodniach przerwy w startach (nie poleciał na zawody do Japonii), gdy tylko trenował na krajowych skoczniach, wrócił do rywalizacji w wyśmienitej formie. Dwa wygrane konkursy w Willingen, ostatnie przed igrzyskami w Soczi, są zapowiedzią wielkich emocji na obiektach olimpijskich, gdzie Polak będzie jednym z głównych kandydatów do medali. Pozostali podopieczni trenera Łukasza Kruczka nie zachwycili. Do drugiej serii nie awansował Piotr Żyła, który zajął 32. miejsce, lądując na 129 m. 38. był Jan Ziobro - 121 m, a 46. Stefan Hula - 110 m. Dawid Kubacki, który po pierwszym skoku - 133 m był ósmy, w finale uzyskał tylko 130 m i spadł w klasyfikacji na 22. pozycję. Nie udało się także wejść do czołowej "10" Maciejowi Kotowi. 14. po pierwszej próbie - 138 m, w drugiej miał skok o pięć metrów krótszy, co dało mu ostatecznie 16. lokatę w konkursie. Obok Stocha, największe powody do zadowolenia mieli w niedzielę w Willingen Słoweńcy. Czterech znalazło się w czołowej dziesiątce. Tak dobrego nastroju nie miał zapewne czterokrotny złoty medalista olimpijski Szwajcar Simon Ammann. W sobotę nie awansował nawet do finału, w niedzielę zajął 25. miejsce. Polacy po zawodach w Willingen nie wracają do kraju. We wtorek polecą z Zurychu do Soczi, gdzie w niedzielę 9 lutego wystąpią w konkursie na średniej skoczni. Prevc vesel, da se je razbremenil pritiska Znova odličen ekipni nastop Slovencev Willingen - MMC RTV SLO/STA Peter Prevc je na drugi tekmi smučarjev skakalcev v Willingenu osvojil tretje mesto, potem ko je vodil po prvi seriji. Enako kot v soboto je zmagal Poljak Kamil Stoch. 26-letni Stoch je tako na zadnji tekmi pred olimpijskimi igrami v Sočiju Prevcu "slekel" rumeno majico vodilnega skakalca svetovnega pokala. Gorenjec zdaj za Poljakom zaostaja 13 točk. Prevc 13,5 m krajši od Stocha Prevc je s skokom 145,5 m vodil po prvi seriji pred Stochom, ki je bil sicer meter in pol daljši (147,0 m). Poljak je nato v finalu pristal pri 145,5 m, medtem ko se Prevcu skok ni posrečil, saj je bil precej krajši (132,0 m). In enajste zmage v karieri se je veselil 26-letni Stoch. Tako kot v soboto je bil drugi Nemec Severin Freund.
