THE ART OF CHRISTINE WEBB

1074959_10152432789695400_104510952_oChristine Webb is a modern contemporary artist with her studio residing in Los Angeles. Claiming marked influences from the sciences, surrealist art and film, fashion, comics, electronic music, and psychedelics, she paints a delicate world of intricately layered styling. A visionary alchemist of sorts, she spends days in the studio immersed in literary and observed research, piecing together deep layers and color palettes to perfect the unique method by which she produces her work.

Born to into a creative family in a small town outside of Seattle, Washington – her mother a free-spirit from the 60's and her father an painter as well – Webb spent her childhood living in the small antique town of Snohomish & later urban Seattle attending Cornish College of the Arts,  before finding herself in Santa Cruz, CA, where she lived for 10 years. She recently relocated to Los Angeles, where she has been attending Art Center College of Design.

Since she began working as an artist in 2006, where she has completed CD covers for various popular electronic music artists.  Webb has shown in the United States, Europe, & Canada.
