The human teeth function is mechanically breaking down items of food by cutting and crushing them in preparation for swallowing and digestion. There are four different types of teeth, namely incisors, canines, molars and premolars. Each type of tooth has a different job. The incisors cut the food, the canines tear the food and the molars and premolars crush the food. The roots of teeth are embedded in the maxilla (upper jaw) or the mandible (lower jaw) and are covered by gums. Teeth are made of multiple tissues of varying density and hardness.
Teeth are among the most distinctive (and long-lasting) features of mammal species. Humans, like other mammals, are diphyodont, meaning that they develop two sets of teeth. The first set (called the "baby", "milk", "primary", or "deciduous" set) normally starts to appear at about six months of age, although some babies are born with one or more visible teeth, known as neonatal teeth. Normal tooth eruption at about six months is known as teething and can be painful.

This video is an excerpt from V102: Dental Anatomy: All About Teeth. Computer graphic animations and extensive clinical video footage teach the types of teeth, anatomical parts of teeth, dental identification systems, and define common dental terms. Computer animations of dental decay, periodontal disease, and the identification of tooth surfaces provide an easy learning experience and include everything needed to train a dental assistant and/or business administrator. This module is essential for both clinical and business staff and is included in both programs. To learn more about the Video Dental Assisting School®, please visit http://www.dentalvideo.com.

New archaeological research may have revealed that the original 'paleo diet' contained wheat and barley, and was not just restricted to meat and vegetables as the current diet typically is.Scientists from Cambridge, Cardiff, UCL and York Universities studied the remains of nine people who lived around 9,000 years ago in the late Mesolithic (6600 - 6450 BC) and the Mesolithic-Neolithic phases (6200 - 5900 BC) and found plant matter fossilised in their teeth.

Just when you think it’s safe to go back to the dentist, out comes another tooth. This is the unfortunate reality for many Americans, with only 34% of those aged 40-64 possessing all of their own teeth. But a new study may bring us a step closer to human tooth regeneration, by shedding light on how sharks regrow their pearly whites. | read more at aspdc.ae | http://www.aspetardentalclinic.com/sharks-aid-human-tooth-regeneration/

How to wisdom tooth extraction - blog : http://dentistrymedicaldaily.blogspot.com/2016/07/dentistry-how-to-wisdom-tooth-extraction.html If you’ve already had your wisdom teeth removed then you know how lucky you are to be done with that nightmare. Wisdom teeth are our third set of molars located in the furthest depths of the mouth. They’re also one of the most useless human body parts, even if they are the reason for some pretty funny post-op patient videos. As much as you might have hated having your wisdom teeth removed, you'd be lying if you said you haven’t thought about what it looks like from the oral surgeon’s perspective. The majority of wisdom teeth become partially or fully trapped below the gums, which creates a hard-to-reach space where bacteria can grow, eventually resulting...
Lecture by Tanya M. Smith, Associate Professor, Department of Human Evolutionary Biology, Harvard University Modern humans and our closest-living ape relatives differ in developmental and reproductive biology, as well as in lifespans, but evolutionary anthropologists do not know when these distinctive characteristics evolved. It might seem that our development is invisible in the fossil record, but much can be learned from the faithful records of birth and growth embedded in teeth. Tanya Smith will discuss how she studies fossil teeth with state-of-the-art technologies to gain virtual access to these records and share what this research reveals about differences between Neanderthals and Homo sapiens, and about our evolution over the past seven million years. Visualization is essential to success. That is because the changes desired must first be created in the aetheric body. Consciously & powerfully create a clear picture of the new energy, new appearance, or other visualization in your mind as you fall asleep. I cannot over-emphasize this point! We are faced with a strong societal belief that we are incapable of regenerating any body part. Of course, most of us have already grown two sets of teeth (our juvenile set, and then our adult set). Why can’t we grow another set? Our bodies know how to do it already. However, we are faced with the huge body of evidence that it cannot be done - that it is ridiculous to even imagine it. We have all the observations of dentists to back this up. How do you break this belief pattern for yourself? Usually...

I celebrate human death
By hanging your bloody corpse for display
My revenge was fulfilled upon this day
You must die in a deep suffering
Orgasmic chill is on its way
As i put your body away
But soon i need more candid flesh
To restore my soul at its best
Don't worry dirty whore
Don't cry for your soul
Your pure body is all I covet
Your pure body is all I covet
I celebrate human death...
I celebrate human death...
I celebrate human death...
I celebrate human death...
I celebrate human death
By strippin' your flesh to the bone
With your skeleton i won't feel alone
You must die in a deep suffering
Orgasmic chill is on its way
As i put your body away
But soon i need more candid flesh
To restore my soul at its best
Don't worry dirty whore
Don't cry for your soul
