Johan Falk

Johan Falk is a Swedish film series about a fictional police officer named Johan Falk, played by Jakob Eklund. It consists of 20 films that were released between 1999 and 2015. Fifteen were released directly on DVD.

On April 8, 2010, a Swedish daily reported that six new movies about Johan Falk would be produced. The director Anders Nilsson and producer Joakim Hansson were to work on the new movies. The sixth movie would open in the cinema, February 2013, before being released on DVD.

The last five films were shot in Gothenburg and Stockholm in the summer and autumn of 2014, and premiered in the summer of 2015.

Seth

Seth (Hebrew: שֵׁת, Standard Šet, Tiberian Šēṯ; Arabic: شِيث‎ (Sheeth); placed; appointed"), in Judaism, Christianity, Mandaeism, and Islam, was the third son of Adam and Eve and brother of Cain and Abel, who were the only other of their children mentioned by name in the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible). According to Genesis 4:25, Seth was born after Abel's murder, and Eve believed God had appointed him as a replacement for Abel.

Genesis

According to Genesis, Seth was born when Adam was 130 years old "a son in his likeness and image." The genealogy is repeated at 1 Chronicles 1:1–3. Genesis 5:4–5 states that Adam fathered "sons and daughters" before his death, aged 930 years. According to the Bible, Seth lived to the age of 912.

Jewish tradition

Seth figures in the Life of Adam and Eve, also known in its Greek version as the Apocalypse of Moses, a Jewish pseudepigraphical group of writings. It recounts the lives of Adam and Eve from after their expulsion from the Garden of Eden to their deaths. The surviving versions were composed from the early 3rd to the 5th century, the literary units in the work are considered to be older and predominantly of Jewish origin. There is wide agreement that the original was composed in a Semitic language in the 1st century AD/CE. In the Greek versions Seth and Eve travel to the doors of the Garden to beg for some oil of the tree of mercy (i.e. the Tree of Life). On the way Seth is attacked and bitten by a wild beast, which goes away when ordered by Seth. Michael refuses to give them the oil at that time, but promises to give it at the end of time, when all flesh will be raised up, the delights of paradise will be given to the holy people and God will be in their midst. On their return, Adam says to Eve: "What hast thou done? Thou hast brought upon us great wrath which is death." (chapters 5-14) Later only Seth can witness the taking-up of Adam at his funeral in a divine chariot, which deposits him in the Garden of Eden.

Fredrik Eklund

Fredrik Eklund (born April 26, 1977 in Stockholm, Sweden) is a New York City real estate broker, a Bravo TV reality star, a former IT entrepreneur in his native Sweden, and a novelist.

Early life

Eklund is the brother of author Sigge Eklund and the son of Klas Eklund, who is a senior economist at Swedish bank SEB. His paternal grandparents were Swedish-Danish-Irish-Russian actors Bengt Eklund and Fylgia Zadig.

Fredrik had his first American experience as a foreign exchange student in Edina, Minnesota, where he attended Edina High School. After finishing high school, Eklund studied at the Stockholm School of Economics, but never graduated. He has worked for the financial newspaper Finanstidningen. At the age of 23, Eklund founded an Internet company with over 45 employees, and went on to work for the investment bank SEB in Stockholm, London, Singapore and Tokyo before beginning his work in New York City.

Real estate career

Eklund has closed over two billion dollars in residential real estate. Eklund became Managing Director at the New York City real estate firm CORE Group Marketing and in 2010, alongside his business partner John Gomes, Managing Director at Prudential Douglas Elliman - the largest real estate brokerage on the East Coast. Eklund has also started the top-selling team at Elliman.

Mikael Tornving

Mikael Tornving, (born 15 February 1961) is a Swedish comedian, actor and television presenter. Tornving was born in Östersund and studied personal and worklife at Uppsala University. He is best known as a comedian in the TV4 panel show Parlamentet, and as the character Rolf Nygård as a travelling reporter in Melodifestivalen 2005 during the semifinals. The character was also seen in the show Godafton Sverige broadcast by SVT. In 2006 Tornving participated in the comedy series Playa del Sol at SVT. His first film role came in 2006 in a cameo in the film Frostbiten as a police officer that tries to arrest an vampire. He also plays the role of Patrik Agrell in the films about Johan Falk.

In 2007 Tornving took part in the musical Little Shop of Horrors which was done at the Halmstad teater. In 2013 he participated in the musical Priscilla, Queen of the Desert at Göta Lejon in Stockholm. In the summer of 2008 Tornving toured with Rhapsody in Rock, he also presented an episode of the Sveriges Radio show Sommar i P1 were he told about his life and achievements. In 2014 he presented the comedy news show SNN News at TV4 as the "official presenter" of the news show.
