Tämän upean laulun alkuperäinen nimi on "NE SPESHI" , joka tarkoittaa suomennettuna "ÄLÄ KIIREHDI". Esittäjiä olisi todella monta, joten mainitsen vain muutaman ;-)) . Esim. Anna German (vuodelta 1965) ja Muslim Magomayev (vuodelta 1964). Uudempia esiintyjiä esimerkiksi: Dmitri Hvorostovsky (Do Not Hurry nimellä) ja tietenkin upea Meri Movsesyan-Kaludova ;-)) .
Georg Ots oli Viron Estonia-teatterin oopperasolisti, josta tuli vuonna 1957 "Saarenmaan valssin" myötä yksi Suomen suosituimpia iskelmälaulajia. Suomalaiset säveltäjät suorastaan kilpailivat, kuka saisi kirjoittaa hänelle lauluja. Eräs Rauno Lehtisen tunnetuimmista lauluista on hänen vuonna 1969 Otsille säveltämä "Muuttuvat laulut".
Palvonnaksi yltyneestä suosiosta huolimatta Otsin elämässä oli paljon sellaista dramatiikkaa, jota vain harva ihminen kokee. Traagisinta lienee ollut hänen liian aikainen kuolemansa. Hänen musiikkinsa elää kuitenkin edelleen.
Hienot sanat Lehtisen sävellykseen runoili Tuula Valkama.

GEORG OTS (19201975) a legendary baritone, the most well-known and beloved singer in Estonia is one of the few artists that can impress even people who have never seen his live-performances. Georg Ots was the soloist of the Estonian National Opera from 1945 till 1975 but he also sang all over the former Soviet Union. He was the first Estonian singer to perform on the stage of the Bolshoi Opera in Moscow (as Eugen Onegin in 1964, at a performance where Tatyana was sung by the legendary soprano Galina Vishnevskaya). Ots sang with equal success both opera (e.g. don Giovanni, Papageno in The Magic Flute, Demon, Iago in Othello, Rigoletto, Germont in La Traviata), operetta (Danilo in Die lustige Witwe, Mr X in Die Zirkusprinzessin etc) and musical (Fred Graham in Kiss Me, Kate and Cervantes / don Quijote in Man of La Mancha) as well as chamber music and even popular songs of his era.
In the last years of his life Georg Ots suffered from cancer but between the operations still appeared on stage. This video is his last performance before the wide audience. It is recorded at the Estonian Television in January 1975. The song of Pali Racz from the operetta by Imre Kalman Der Zigeunerprimas has a significant symbolic meaning here the old gypsy remembers his youth, love and happy days in the past. The orchestra of the Estonian Television and Radio is conducted by Peeter Saul.

Georg Ots, People's Artist of the USSR (21 March 1920, Petrograd, Russian SFSR – 5 September 1975, Tallinn, Estonia) was an Estonian opera singer. His father was the renowned tenor Karl Ots.
Before studying singing with the Estonian baritone Aleksander Arder in Yaroslavl, where an Estonian cultural centre had been established, Ots was a young Navy Officer who had escaped a sinking ship and was taken prisoner in Russia. He was released a year later, and on his return home he auditioned for the conservatory in Tallinn. At the same time, he became a member of the chorus at the Estonia Theatre in Tallinn. His solo opera debut was a tiny part in Eugene Onegin (1944). He soon became one of the most revered singers with this opera company, with whom he sang from 1951 until his death in 1975.
Ots was also a welcomed performer in all the major opera houses of the former Soviet Union, being especially popular at the Bolshoi Theatre in Moscow. His repertoire included the roles of: Eugene Onegin, Yeletzky, Escamillo, Renato, Don Giovanni, Papageno, Rigoletto, Iago, Porgy, Figaro, and the title role in Kabalevsky's Colas Breugnon. Ots sang in Estonian, Russian, Finnish, German, Italian and French, and was fluent in all six languages. Ots's most famous role, with which he is often identified with, was the leading character in Anton Rubinstein's opera The Demon. The libretto of The Demon is based on Mikhail Lermontov's famous epic poem, once banned because of its plot line which involves a misalliance between a dark angel and a Georgian princess. Georg Ots's interpretation of the Demon was admired and loved all over Russia, and made Lermontov's controversial poem even more famous.

Muuttuvat Laulut - Georg Ots
Georg Ots oli Viron Estonia-teatterin oopperasolisti, josta tuli vuonna 1957 "Saarenmaan valssin" myötä yksi Suomen suosituimpia iskelmälaulajia. Suomalaiset säveltäjät suorastaan kilpailivat, kuka saisi kirjoittaa hänelle lauluja. Eräs Rauno Lehtisen tunnetuimmista lauluista on hänen vuonna 1969 Otsille säveltämä "Muuttuvat laulut". Palvonnaksi yltyneestä suosiosta huolimatta Otsin elämässä oli paljon sellaista dramatiikkaa, jota vain harva ihminen kokee. Traagisinta lienee ollut hänen liian aikainen kuolemansa. GEORG OTS (19201975) a legendary baritone, the most well-known and beloved singer in Estonia is one of the few artists that can impress even people who have never seen his live-performances. Georg Ots was the soloist of the Estonian National Opera from 1945 till 1975 but he also sang all over the former Soviet Union. He was the first Estonian singer to perform on the stage of the Bolshoi Opera in Moscow (as Eugen Onegin in 1964, at a performance where Tatyana was sung by the legendary soprano Galina Vishnevskaya). The orchestra of the Estonian Television and Radio is conducted by Peeter Saul.
