Patrick has been a CEO, President, CMO and longtime c-level advisor, working with Fortune 500 companies (Coca-Cola, Apple, Google, Ford, Adidas, Virgin), today's start-ups, and select charities and universities, with a focus on Innovation as a driver of success. He helped found the Innovation, Creativity & Entrepreneurship (I.C.E.) Center at Villanova University and its Meyer I.C.E. Awards given out annually. Patrick has been an advisor to the Dean of Villanova Business School on its strategic direction and evolution in the caliber of graduates entering into the marketplace. He is also a recent author of a new smartphone-empowered book, Steve Jobs & The World of Mobile: Insights For The Future. Villanova has been an inspiration in his life since visiting Villanova as a young boy with his Dad (Paul Meyer, Class of 1930). That has never stopped for him and his Villanova alum family. In the last decade he has found great joy in bringing innovation and inspiration to the efforts of the University, its professors and most importantly to the students and its emerging graduates. When Patrick is not working he can be found training for the upcoming two-day, 165 mile, charity cycling event from Miami to Key West! Or he might be doing an episode of PatrickTV or speaking to people around the world on Shifting Your Game: Business 3.0. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience.
