The trade unions are the combat organisations of the working class. They were built to defend and advance workers' interests against the bosses. BUT the unions can be MUCH more. The unions have the potential not only to fight the bosses in the here and now. They can ALSO organise the workers for a REVOLUTIONARY GENERAL STRIKE. This means that the workers take the land, mines and factories from the bosses and politicians. It means we run them in the interests of the workers and the poor. Real democratic socialism and real working class freedom and power will never come through getting new political parties into parliament. This is an illusion. Parliament is the graveyard of struggles. It is the place where the radicals of yesterday become the crooked politicians of today. Socialism, freedom and power can only come through class struggle. This means organising in communities AND building strong worker organisations. Worker organisations must be built to defeat the bosses, and their ally, the state… and replace them with direct workers control of production. Free of the politicians. Free of the bosses. This is the REVOLUTIONARY GENERAL STRIKE. And this can only come though revolutionary industrial unionism (anarchist syndicalism). Sulle macerie della scuola pubblica provocate nel recente passato dai tagli di €8,5 miliardi e di 150.000 posti voluti dal governo Berlusconi/Gelmini, si aggirano nuovi ministri e improbabili sottosegretari a promettere nuove risorse per un progetto culturale e formativo, le cui concrete politiche scolastiche appaiono chiaramente finalizzate alla accelerazione del processo di riconversione della scuola in una fucina di manodopera addestrata a rispondere ai bisogni di un mercato volatile che impone - grazie alla crisi - più aggressive pretese in quanto a "selezione", meritocrazia e finanziamenti a questa finalizzati. read full story / add a comment

Quell'indipendenza proclamata dall'Ucraina nel 1991, all'indomani della disintegrazione dell'URSS, valeva ben poco. Non lo sapevano forse i nazionalisti ucraini, ma era ben chiaro alle "nuove" elite dominanti a Mosca. La vicenda in cronaca locale intorno alla diatriba fra Alpini e clero locale sulla libertà dei primi di portare il cappello nelle funzioni religiose e declamare la "preghiera dell'alpino" ci fa sorridere, in quanto si omette da un lato lo stridere di un testo religioso che affonda la genesi nell'Italia iper-nazionalista e fascista (e di un clero colluso) e dall'altra parte un ipocrisia dei preti nel rivendicare una cristianità pacifica e pacifista che cozza con la sua struttura che arriva fin li nel organizzarsi all'interno delle forze armate ma entriamo nel dettaglio:

La campagna BDS (Boycott, Disinvest, Sanctions, ndt) è ormai un'emergenza sui media israeliani, come per l'elite al governo e per le medie imprese capitalistiche. I maltrattamenti riservati ai villaggi di Ni'lin, Nabi Saleh e Qaddum vengono risparmiati a Bil'in che si trova al centro dell'attenzione internazionale. Pare che le forze di stato abbiano avuto ordini precisi ad essere più "indulgenti", anche in caso di sassaiola da parte dei giovani. ¿Qué tan uribista ha sido el pueblo colombiano? Esta es una pregunta que no ha sido abordada de manera rigurosa por las ciencias sociales. Un infranqueable muro ideológico, tendido por la oligarquía y sus medios, ha hecho imposible esta tarea pues, por años, quienes cuestionábamos la supuesta idolatría generalizada a Uribe Vélez, éramos descalificados inmediatamente con toda clase de insultos y epítetos de la ultraderecha rancia, que van desde “mamerto” hasta “narcoterrotista”.
