Laixi (simplified Chinese: 莱西; traditional Chinese: 萊西; pinyin: Láixī) is a county-level city of Qingdao sub-provincial city, Shandong Province, China.
Laixi is known as "Qingdao's Back Garden". Laixi was once combined with Laiyang, its neighbor to the north; however, Laixi is now the northernmost part of Qingdao and Laiyang is the southernmost part of Yantai. Looking at a map of Shandong Province (the Shandong Peninsula), Laixi City is located precisely in the middle (north to south).
In mid-2015, The Qing-Long Highway opened, connecting Qingdao and Longkou. This made travel to Qingdao proper (the beach and business area) a faster and safer journey, as State Route 204 between Laixi and Qingdao (proper) is often crowded with trucks, hampered by numerous traffic lights, and narrow lanes. The new highway is not only faster, it's a safer and more enjoyable way to get to Qingdao, and Laixi residents love going to Qingdao
Things to do in Laixi:
The feeling of hatred i feel about the one i love,
This feeling of hatred which is hurting me,
This feeling i like only you arouse it in me,
Thanks for what i feel for you...Paradoxical love!
Thanks for hurting me,
Thanks to making me survive.
My skull's fracturing above you,
It spurs waves of love in which i was drown,
I open my spirit's doors.
You met me when i was wrong,
I'm sorry for my wrong-doings,
I lost you because of my errors of youth,
