On The Show: 1. Skoda Superb 2014 The 2014 Skoda Superb gets a new fascia in the form of a new grille, new headlights and bumper which now has a mesh air intake in place of the horizontally stacked design that exists on the current car. The new Skoda grille which was first seen on the Octavia has been fitted to the Superb along with the new Black and silver Skoda logo. Skoda has also modified the fog lamps and its housings to give them a more compact shape. At the back, the 2014 Skoda Superb gets new C-shaped tail lamps, a now common design across the Czech automaker's range. The boot is still a notchback.The facelifted Skoda Superb retains the same interiors as the current car and will be offered with black or beige interiors and leather upholstery. Standard features in terms of driver aids are expected to include six airbags, ABS, EBD, ESP, cruise control and traction control. In the cabin, Skoda is offering a six-CD changer, rear parking sensors, electrically adjustable OVRMs, rain sensing wipers, touchscreen music system with more than six speakers.The engine line-up for India is expected to remain the same - the 1.8-litre TSI petrol and 2.0-litre TDI diesel. Transmission options include six-speed manual and a six-speed DSG automatic gearbox with the latter only being offered for the diesel variants. 2. Indian Chief Classic The name may mislead a few unfamiliar with the brand but Indian is an all-American bike maker that has been around since 1901. It's had it fair share of ups and downs and ownership changes over the course of its history. However, since 2011, Indian Motorcycles is part of Polaris Industries, best known in India for its range of specialist off-road vehicles. The 'base' model in the Indian line-up, if you can call a bike that costs Rs 26.5 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi) that, is the Chief Classic. However, the name is not the only element this bike shares with the Indian Chief of the 1940s; the new bike looks like the original too. Sure, it's been given a computer-like 'power' button here and an LED tail-light there, but the whole look is still very, very retro. Some traditional Indian touches carried over from the old bikes include the motif that sits on the front fender (it lights up too), those lovely white-wall tyres and, of course, the trademark swoopy rear fender. Detailing is superb too - studded seats, an embossed Indian logo on the frame and handlebar ends, are just some of the finer examples. And clichéd as it may sound, there's genuinely enough chrome on the bike to light up a moonless night. 3. Harley-Davidson Street 750 The motorcycle is a completely new model aimed at the emerging markets. The bike is built in India and is powered by a 749 CC liquid cooled revolution X engine which is kept in leash by a six speed transmission. The engine breathes through a 2 into 1 exhaust and needs to deal with a wet weight of 480 lbs. In terms of design the 2014 Harley Davidson Street 750 comes with a tasty blackout style, a café style windscreen, an aggressive slash on the tail and a round headlight. The 2014 Harley Davidson Street 750 features a low seat height, smooth suspensions, premium brakes and broad handlebars.
