Skip to: 2:00 minutes for a CLOSE UP OF THE TRANSFORMATOR! Hi viewers, something different for you here. A Monster Transformer taking over the M4 motorway down in the West of England. The gigantic transport (one of the biggest ever seen on the roads of the UK) was over 5mtrs wide, 65mtrs long and get this over 250tonnes in weight! Carrying a giant electrical transformer to be used in a sub station the mammoth multi wheeled super heavy transport reached just over 10mph at top speed and took around 10hrs to complete its 41 mile journey. I noticed it by pure chance as I was on my way home to London from Plymouth after having work there the night before. I managed to overtake it and park up then run up on to a bridge so that I could catch this footage for you all. Was just filmed on my Samsung Note 3 phone so no professional camera set up or anything, you will get to see fairly well though just how big and menacing this giant transformer is. This is how to transport big, do it with well over 250tonnes of metal on your super transport.
