BREAKING: Malaysian PM News Conference over MH370 Hijacked
BREAKING: Police raid home of Malaysian pilot, Zaharie Ahmad Shah. 3 Pieces of Evidence: Transponder, Acars, Guided Flight. LATEST NEWS CONFERENCE Flight 370 'Deliberate Action by Someone on the Plane' Transponder was switched off at Vietnam border. UPDATE: Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak said at a press conference that the movements of the flight MH370 were "consistent with deliberate action by someone on the plane" but that "despite media speculation" of a hijacking, the Malaysian government is continuing to investigate. Malaysian PM won't confirm hijacking of flight MH370 KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Investigators have concluded that one or more people with significant flying experience hijacked the missing Malaysia Airlines jet, switched off communication devices and steered it off-course, a Malaysian government official involved in the investigation said Saturday. No motive has been established and no demands have been made known, and it is not yet clear where the plane was taken, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity because he was not authorized to brief the media. The official said that hijacking was no longer a theory. "It is conclusive," he said. He said evidence that led to the conclusion were signs that the plane's communications were switched off deliberately, data about the flight path and indications the plane was steered in a way to avoid detection by radar. The Boeing 777′s communication with the ground was severed just under one hour into a flight March 8 from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Malaysian officials previously have said radar data suggest it may have turned back toward and crossed over the Malaysian peninsula after setting out on a northeastern path toward the Chinese capital. Earlier, an American official told The Associated Press that investigators are examining the possibility of "human intervention" in the plane's disappearance, adding it may have been "an act of piracy." While other theories are still being examined, the U.S. official said key evidence suggesting human intervention is that contact with the Boeing 777′s transponder stopped about a dozen minutes before a messaging system on the jet quit. Such a gap would be unlikely in the case of an in-flight catastrophe. The Malaysian official said only a skilled aviator could navigate the plane the way it was flown after its last confirmed location over the South China Sea. The official said it had been established with a "more than 50 percent" degree of certainty that military radar had picked up the missing plane after it dropped off civilian radar. Why anyone would want to do this is unclear. Malaysian authorities and others will be urgently investigating the backgrounds of the two pilots and 10 crew members, as well the 227 passengers on board. Some experts have said that pilot suicide may be the most likely explanation for the disappearance, as was suspected in a SilkAir crash during a flight from Singapore to Jakarta in 1997 and an EgyptAir flight in 1999. A massive international search effort began initially in the South China Sea where the plane's transponders stopped transmitting. It has since been expanded onto the other side of the Malay peninsula up into the Andaman Sea and into the Indian Ocean. The plane had enough fuel to fly for at least five hours after its last know location, meaning a vast swath of South and Southeast Asia would be within its reach. Investigators are analyzing radar and satellite data from around the region to try and pinpoint its final location, something that will be vital to hopes of finding the plane, and answering the mystery of what happened to it.- published: 15 Mar 2014

Malaysian PM Says Lost Plane's Movements Indicate a Deliberate Act
Malaysian Prime Minister Najib Razak says the movements of a missing plane were consistent with a deliberate act by someone who turned the jet back across Malaysia and onwards to the west. Full Story: It's been one week since a Malaysia airliner jet mysteriously vanished but still the authorities are baffled. The Malaysian Prime Minister said the communications systems of the missing aircraft had been deliberately disabled, after that the plane changed course and could have continued flying for a further seven hours. [Najib Razak, Malaysian Prime Minister]: "Up until the point at which it left military primary radar coverage, this movement is consistent with deliberate action by someone on the plane. Today, based on raw satellite data, that was obtained by the satellite data service provider, we can confirm that the aircraft shown in the primary radar data was flight MH370." The authorities are now trying to trace the plane across two possible corridors from the border of Kazakhstan through to northern Thailand and also south to the southern Indian Ocean. There's been a massive international air and sea search for the aircraft and the 239 people on board, missing about an hour after it took off from Kuala Lumpur last Saturday. But now the Vietnamese military is packing up as the investigation enters a new phrase and the search of the South China Sea ends. The families of the missing passengers and crew are no closer to understanding why flight 370 deviated from its flight path to Beijing. [Mrs. Wen, Wife Of Man Aboard Missing Plane]: "I know that many countries are already trying very hard to search for them, but at the moment there are too many uncertainties and difficulties. I hope that the governments of all the countries can hold discussions on these uncertainties and difficulties as soon as possible and, if it really was a hijacking, decide what they are going to do next. As soon as we have the first piece of information, we will have a little peace of mind. At the moment we just feel so helpless." As the days pass with no word or clues, the wait has become an agonisingly long one. Malaysian Prime Minister Says Missing Jet Was Deliberately Diverted - 15 March 2014
Prime Minister Najib Razak of Malaysia announced on Saturday afternoon that Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 left its planned route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing a week earlier as the result of deliberate action by someone aboard. Najib also said that search efforts in the South China Sea had been ended and that technical experts now believed the aircraft could have ended up anywhere in one of two zones - one as far north as Kazakhstan in Central Asia, the other crossing the southern Indian Ocean. (Military data suggests 'skilled' flyer turned Malaysia Airlines jet) That conclusion was based on a final signal from the plane picked up on satellite at 8:11 a.m. March 8, nearly seven hours after ground control lost contact with the jet, he said. While Najib said that investigators had not ruled out alternatives to hijacking, his remarks represented official confirmation that the disappearance of the Boeing 777-200 had not been an accident. He noted that one communications system had been disabled as the plane flew out over the northeast coast of Malaysia and that a second system, a transponder aboard the aircraft, had stopped broadcasting its location, altitude, speed and other information at 1:21 a.m. while the plane was a third of the way across the Gulf of Thailand from Malaysia to Vietnam. Military radar data subsequently showed that the aircraft actually turned and flew west across northern Malaysia before arcing out over the wide northern end of the Strait of Malacca, headed at cruising altitude for the Indian Ocean. The 7th Fleet of the U.S. Navy said in a statement Saturday that its search for the missing plane now encompasses the Strait of Malacca and beyond to the Bay of Bengal - an enormous area. But Najib said that representatives of many more governments across the region had been contacted, given how far the plane could have travelled in the several hours it remained airborne after flying out over the Strait of Malacca. Huang Huikang, China's ambassador to Malaysia, sat impassively in a light gray suit in the front row of the news conference at an airport hotel here on the outskirts of Kuala Lumpur. The disappearance of the jet has mesmerized many in China, partly because nearly two-thirds of the 239 people aboard were Chinese citizens. The news conference came a day after U.S. officials and others familiar with the investigation said the plane had experienced significant changes in altitude after it lost contact with ground control and altered its course more than once as if still under the command of a pilot. Radar signals recorded by the Malaysian military appeared to show that the missing airliner climbed to 45,000 feet, above the approved altitude limit for a Boeing 777-200, soon after it disappeared from civilian radar and turned sharply to the west, according to a preliminary assessment by a person familiar with the data. The radar track, which the Malaysian government has not released but says it has provided to the United States and China, showed the plane then descended unevenly to 23,000 feet, below normal cruising levels, as it approached the densely populated island of Penang. There, officials believe, the plane turned from a southwest-bound course, climbed to a higher altitude and flew northwest over the Strait of Malacca toward the Indian Ocean TAGS: abc breaking news, bbc, bbc football, bbc iplayer, bbc news, bbc news america, bbc persian, bbc sport, bbc weather, bbc world news, breaking celebrity news, breaking election news, breaking late news, breaking local news, breaking music news, breaking news, breaking news alerts, breaking news canada, breaking news headlines, breaking news in atlanta, breaking news in nigeria, breaking news india, breaking news pensacola florida, breaking news plane crash, breaking news story, breaking sports news, business expensive news home media world, christian world news, cnn, cnn breaking news, cnn money, cnn news, cnn news breaking news, cnn news world, detroit breaking news, global news, headline, headline news, health care technology news, hot latest global news, internet technology news, las vegas breaking news, latest breaking news, latest celebrity news, latest information technology news, latest music news, latest news, latest news headlines, latest news update, latest sports news, live breaking news, local breaking news, local news today, msn breaking news, nbc breaking news, nbc world news, news of the world, news report us world, news today news, news updated daily, solar technology news, sports news today, technology news, the latest news, today news, us news and world, us news and world report, us news and world report magazine, us news and world report web site, us news world report, world news, world news daily, world news headlines,Ukrainian,Ukraine Protest,Ukraine Crisis,Ukraine Ex-Leader.- published: 15 Mar 2014

Malaysian prime minister : Flight MH370 Was Diverted Deliberately !
A week after the disappearance of flight MH370 , the Malaysian prime minister said that the missing airliner have been deliberately steered off course , after someone on board shut down its communications . The prime minister was speaking in a press conference on Saturday 15 March , , Najib said its last transmission of satellite data came nearly seven hours after it disappeared from radar screens STRAIT OF MALACCA (March 15, 2014) Lookouts aboard the guided-missile destroyer USS Kidd (DDG 100) scan the ocean while searching for debris associated with the missing Malaysian Airlines flight MH370. Each piece of reported debris is reported and inspected to see if it is related to MH370. The Kidd's crew is utilizing all capabilities and assets to assist in the search of MH370. The ambiguity of the potential crash site makes the area to be searched expansive but the two MH-60R Sea Hawk helicopters deployed on Kidd project the Navy destroyer's search capability over the horizon. To date, no associated debris has been located. (U.S. Navy video/Released)- published: 16 Mar 2014

Protocols of Zion
Despite all the evidence, millions around the world continue to blame the Jews for 9/11. This belief is a modern-day incarnation of the infamous "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," the century-old forgery that some people claimed to be the Jews' master plan to rule the world. Filmmaker Marc Levin sets out to understand why "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion" has been revived, and to challenge one of the most persistent, insidious conspiracy theories of all time. In the course of his explosive journey, Levin finds himself delving into the heart of hate, facing those who would traffic in bigotry, all in the name of God. At a volatile juncture in world events, PROTOCOLS OF ZION is the personal odyssey of veteran filmmaker Marc Levin (“SLAM”). As a Jew and a New Yorker living and working not far from the site of the World Trade Center, Levin grapples with one of the central issues facing the world today: religious intolerance and hate.
Propelled by the racist tract, which has revived for a new generation that is looking for someone to blame, Levin takes to the streets in PROTOCOLS OF ZION, engaging in a free-for-all dialogue with Arab-Americans, Black nationalists, Christian evangelicals, Aryan skinheads, Kabbalist rabbis, Holocaust deniers and survivors, and parading peaceniks.
A veteran documentarian and secular humanist, Levin approaches his subject with a healthy skepticism. For the first time, he reveals himself on camera: vulnerable, exploratory, argumentative, edgy, compassionate, outraged and ultimately entirely human in his journey to understand and to challenge those who would promulgate hate, knowingly or otherwise.
Levin's filmmaking journey takes place against an increasingly volatile backdrop: U.S. troops march on Iraq, Arab television stations broadcast a dramatization of "The Protocols of the Elders of Zion," Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir claims the Jews rule the world by proxy, Mel Gibson releases "The Passion of the Christ" and violence reignites between the Palestinians and the Israelis.
Every bit as disturbing and unruly as the subject itself, Levin's PROTOCOLS OF ZION drives straight to the heart of the hate that animates all religious fanaticism and zealotry.
