Film Description: The second chapter in the "Bourne Trilogy," based on Robert Ludlum's best-selling espionage novels, reaches the screen in this sequel to the 2002 thriller The Bourne Identity. Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) has abandoned his life as a CIA assassin and has been traveling beneath the agency's radar, eventually reconnecting with Marie Kreutz (Franka Potente), the woman he loves. But Bourne is haunted by vivid dreams and troubling memories of his days as a killer, and he's not certain how much really happened and how much is a product of his imagination. When Bourne is led out of hiding by circumstances beyond his control, he must reconcile his past and present as he struggles to keep Marie out of harm's way and foil an international incident with dangerous consequences. The Bourne Supremacy also features Joan Allen as one of Bourne's superiors, while Julia Stiles and Brian Cox reprise their roles as intelligence agents from the first film.

Pompeii - Naples - Italy.
The city of Pompeii was an ancient Roman town-city near modern Naples in the Italian region of Campania, in the territory of the comune of Pompei. Pompeii, along with Herculaneum and many villas in the surrounding area, was mostly destroyed and buried under 4 to 6 m (13 to 20 ft) of ash and pumice in the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Researchers believe that the town was founded in the seventh or sixth century BC by the Osci or Oscans. It came under the domination of Rome in the 4th century BC, and was conquered and became a Roman colony in 80 BC after it joined an unsuccessful rebellion against the Roman Republic. By the time of its destruction, 160 years later, its population was approximately 11,000 people, and the city had a complex water system, an amphitheatre, gymnasium and a port.
The eruption destroyed the city, killing its inhabitants and burying it under tons of ash. Evidence for the destruction originally came from a surviving letter by Pliny the Younger, who saw the eruption from a distance and described the death of his uncle Pliny the Elder, an admiral of the Roman fleet, who tried to rescue citizens. The site was lost for about 1,500 years until its initial rediscovery in 1599 and broader rediscovery almost 150 years later by Spanish engineer Rocque Joaquin de Alcubierre in 1748. The objects that lay beneath the city have been well-preserved for centuries because of the lack of air and moisture. These artifacts provide an extraordinarily detailed insight into the life of a city during the Pax Romana. During the excavation, plaster was used to fill in the voids in the ash layers that once held human bodies. This allowed one to see the exact position the person was in when he or she died.
Pompeii has been a tourist destination for over 250 years. Today it has UNESCO World Heritage Site status and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Italy, with approximately 2.5 million visitors every year.
The objects buried beneath Pompeii were well-preserved for almost two thousand years. The lack of air and moisture allowed for the objects to remain underground with little to no deterioration, which meant that, once excavated, the site had a wealth of sources and evidence for analysis, giving detail into the lives of the Pompeiians. However, once exposed, Pompeii has been subject to both natural and man-made forces which have rapidly increased their rate of deterioration.
Pompeii has been a popular tourist destination for over 250 years; it was on the Grand Tour. By 2008, it was attracting almost 2.6 million visitors per year, making it one of the most popular tourist sites in Italy. It is part of a larger Vesuvius National Park and was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1997. To combat problems associated with tourism, the governing body for Pompeii, the Soprintendenza Archaeological di Pompei have begun issuing new tickets that allow for tourists to also visit cities such as Herculaneum and Stabiae as well as the Villa Poppaea, to encourage visitors to see these sites and reduce pressure on Pompeii.

Pompeii has been a tourist destination for over 250 years. Today it has UNESCO World Heritage Site status and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Italy, with approximately 2.5 million visitors every year.
Eruption of Vesuvius:
By the 1st century AD, Pompeii was one of a number of towns located near the base of the volcano, Mount Vesuvius. The area had a substantial population which grew prosperous from the region's renowned agricultural fertility. Many of Pompeii's neighboring communities, most famously Herculaneum, also suffered damage or destruction during the 79 eruption. The eruption occurred on August 24, just one day after Vulcanalia, the festival of the Roman god of fire, including that from volcanoes.
Pompeii and other cities affected by the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. The black cloud represents the general distribution of ash and cinder. Modern coast lines are shown.
A multidisciplinary volcanological and bio-anthropological study of the eruption products and victims, merged with numerical simulations and experiments, indicate that at Vesuvius and surrounding towns heat was the main cause of death of people, previously believed to have died by ash suffocation. The results of the study, published in 2010, show that exposure to at least 250 °C (482 °F) hot surges at a distance of 10 kilometres (6 miles) from the vent was sufficient to cause instant death, even if people were sheltered within buildings.
The people and buildings of Pompeii were covered in up to twelve different layers of tephra, in total 25 meters deep, which rained down for about 6 hours. Pliny the Younger provided a first-hand account of the eruption of Mount Vesuvius from his position across the Bay of Naples at Misenum, in a version which was written 25 years after the event. His uncle, Pliny the Elder, with whom he had a close relationship, died while attempting to rescue stranded victims. As Admiral of the fleet, Pliny the Elder had ordered the ships of the Imperial Navy stationed at Misenum to cross the bay to assist evacuation attempts. Volcanologists have recognised the importance of Pliny the Younger's account of the eruption by calling similar events "Plinian".

The eruption killed the city's inhabitants and buried it under tons of ash. The objects that lay beneath the city have been well preserved for centuries because of the lack of air and moisture. These artifacts provide an extraordinarily detailed insight into the life of a city during the Pax Romana. During the excavation, plaster was used to fill in the voids between the ash layers that once held human bodies. This allowed one to see the exact position the person was in when he or she died.
Pompeii has been a tourist destination for over 250 years. Today it has UNESCO World Heritage Site status and is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Italy, with approximately 2.5 million visitors every year.

Napoli is the capital of Campania in southern Italy where hustle and bustle combines with serenity and joie de vivre. The Centro Storico Monumentale is located around the harbour and the Piazza Del Plebiscito embodies both grandeur and vastness, in contrast to the narrow confines of the old town. Close to the harbour is the mighty Castel Nuovo, its graceful entrance arch seemingly hemmed-in by two awkward-looking towers. Its construction began during the reign of Charles The First but Alfons Of Aragon subsequently had the castle completely rebuilt. From the centre of the town a small causeway leads to the tiny island of Borgo Santa Lucia. The island is dominated by a building which in ancient times was the residence of Lucullus, namely the Castel Dell´Ovo, the oldest fortress in Naples. The Via Partenope, with its magnificent buildings and luxury hotels on the coast near Santa Lucia, developed by land reclamation in the nineteenth century. A walk along the Caracciolo coastal road towards Mergellina passes the Parco Communale with palm trees, sculptures and fountains. Measuring four square kilometres, Procida is the smallest island off Naples, densely populated and with a long history and the picturesque Marina Grande at the Cattolocio Ferry Port typifies relaxed island life. Ischia, the island of Titan Tiphoios, is the largest of the three islands in the Gulf Of Naples, each one now being a very popular tourist destination. "A piece of heaven that fell to Earth”, that is how the Neapolitans rightly refer to their beautiful city and its surroundings.

In the fourth episode of Dream of Italy (new PBS travel series), we travel to Naples and the Amalfi Coast. Neapolitans are serious about their coffee and we visit the historic Gran Caffè Gambrinus to taste what some say is the best espresso in the city. Naples is also famous for its tailoring tradition and we visit Rubinacci for an inside look. Host Kathy McCabe attends pizza school with master Enzo Coccia and learns it isn’t easy to make a perfect pizza. A visit to Via San Gregorio Armeno reveals a street full of Christmas crèches and caricatures. Mount Vesuvius looms large over life here and we venture into the crater with guide Roberto Addeo. In the shadow of Vesuvius we enjoy a local folk music performance before venturing to the Amalfi Coast. We visit some very special vines at Tenuta San Francesco, watch paper being made at Amatruda in the town of Amalfi, learn to make limoncello with a local, watch a cooking demonstration with Chef Christoph Bob at Monastero Santa Rosa and go fishing with local Costabile Laudano. For more information, visit www.dreamofitaly.com

One of the best things to do in Naples is eat Napoli Pizza. Do that and you will have a blast. Of course, if you looking for a few other good things to do in Naples, Italy then you’ve come to the right place. My top 10 Things To Do In Naples, Italy video was filmed throughout 2 months of travel in Naples and includes all the best things to do in Naples to enjoy a fun day, rather than top 10 tourist attractions in Naples.. although eating Napoli Pizza would still make that list too.
Enjoy this travel video adventure of Naples, Italy as we visit various fun neighborhoods like Mergellina and Chiaia, as well as a few great landmarks like the Castel dell’Ovo, Piazza del Plebiscito, and Galleria Umberto.

Shepherd Entertainment takes you on a tour of Valletta, the capital of Malta, which was built on the peninsula surrounded
by two bays.
Visit Valletta in Malta
The malicious that the language of Malta is like of an Italian which trying to speak Arabic however he only speaks English. And this complexity can be experience in not only the language but also the whole mentality and lifestyle of the people living here. Malta is located in the heart of the Mediterranean Sea close to the coast of Northern Africa and only one thousand kilometers from Sicily. The Archipelago is part of the British Commonwealth. So, it's quite obvious that Arabic, Italian and British and other cultures influenced it.
Malta's language basically is related to the Semitic language family and so it's related to Arabic and Hebrew. It's the only surviving form of the Phoenicians language so this is truly unique. The capital of the Maltese Archipelago of three inhabited and two uninhabited islands is Valletta. Valletta is built on the peninsula surrounded by two bays. After the Turkish' siege, the Popes send his Architect Francisco Lipari here who together with Gerolamo Cassar, the chief architect of the order of knighthood planned the symmetrical square reticulated street structure of the new town.
For the construction, they used rocks extracted underneath the town area. Therefore today there's a several kilometer long tunnel system running under Valletta. The upper house was bomb during World War II. There are plans for the rebuilding, however it's better not to expect this opening in the next one or two years. The busiest street of Valletta is Liberty Street starting from the town gate.
We can recover from the fatigue of sightseeing by sitting on one of the café terraces. The most famous is the Café Cordino. Behind the coffee, inside the beautiful library, there's an audiovisual exhibition on the history of the St. John. The sounds and picture effects are cutting edge.
The palace of the Grand Master has lasted one decade starting from 1570. The renaissance building has been both the master's office and resident. Today it's a presidential palace and meeting place of the House of Commons. The table is placed on the wall of the inside yard and remind us the vistas of the pope and the queen.
The interest of trick el dasca which is parallel to Liberty Street is that it was the only street in Valletta more where the nights have been allowed to fight a duel. Near, there are the toy museum and a small product palace, the Casa Roca Picola where paintings from the 15th to 17th centuries are exhibited. Nowadays, there are only 8,000 habitants living in the city and many moved out to the suburbs.
In Valletta, traveling by car is problematic because they drive on the left and it's hard to find a parking place. It's better if we visit the inner areas by walking or by a small horse carriage called Karrozzin. The star shape of St. Elma was built on the former place of the watch tower. Some scenes of the Oscar winning film Gladiator were shot here.
Inside we find a World War Museum converted from the command center of the British Air Defense. Besides others, General Eisenhower's jeep named husky is guarded here as well as three contemporary airplanes of the Maltese air force. One is even a little interested in military history can spend illuminating hours here.
The name of the St. John Cathedral indicates that it received its cathedral status from the Pope together with its fellow Medina. The building represents a classical byzantine Basilica. We can see simple and clear forms on the outside and rich baroque interior. In olden times the Congresses of the Knights were held here. When Napoleon's army ravaged Malta, the silver gate was painted black in order to prevent soldier's recognizing how valuable it was.
The flooring of the main ship is made from 400 carve colored marble gravestones. Under which is night rest. The 12 Grand Masters are buried here. Among them de la Vallett, his coffin was brought over from the triumphful ladican temple in Saint John fortress. Caravaggio's famous painting titled "St. John's as beheading" is exhibited in the cathedral museum. The painter is escape from Naples to Malta after he killed his enemy. The painter signature on the painting is no worthy as it's the continuation of the blood coming from the chop head.

Travel Guide - Monterosso Beach - Cinque Terre Italy
Information on how to get to Cinque Terre Italy and Monterosso Beach:
Cinque Terre is along the southwest coast of Italy, just north of another favorite Italy travel destination, The Amalfi Coast. To get to Cinque Terre, there are many ways to get there, but we suggest you fly into Genoa (Genovo), then take the Trenitalia (Treno or Train), southbound into Cinque Terre. There is not an actual town called "Cinque Terre". Cinque Terre is made up of five beautiful beach towns, starting from North going South; Levanto, Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia and Monarola. The only two towns that have beaches are Levanto and Monterosso with Monterosso being the most lively and have the most to offer. As you can see from this video there are beautiful beach girls, beach side hotels and beach front cafe's to be enjoyed.

When planning a vacation to Naples be sure to visit Brandi Pizzeria. http://italiantourism.us/italy-travel-guide/campania-sightseeing/naples-sightseeing/ It is historically important because it was here in 1889 that the Pizza Marghertia was first made. The then Royal Couple Umberto I and Margherita of Savoy visited the pizzeria. The then owner Raffaele Esposito produced for the first time a pizza made with just three ingredients; buffalo mozzarella (Mozzarella di Bufala), basil, and tomato. The ingredients, all locally sourced, are the colors of what was then the newly formed country Italy. Margherita loved the taste of this pizza. Thus the name became the Pizza Margherita. Located off Naples main walking street the food is good, full of history, and energy. For more about Naples sightseeing visit http://italiantourism.us

Herculaneum's Lost Library
In 1752, an ancient library was discovered at Herculaneum, buried beneath the ashes of Mount Vesuvius. Astonishingly, nearly 2000 carbonized papyrus rolls were preserved, though some were so badly burned they looked like pieces of charcoal. While some texts from the philosophical library have been published, many of the papyri have yet to be unrolled or read.

Rediscovery of the Lost City of Pompeii
Buried beneath volcanic ash from the eruptions of Mt. Vesuvius, the ancient Roman city of Pompeii was lost for 1500 years before its discovery in the late 16th century ("Pompeii"). Pompeii's sociopolitical landscape of the city changed over the centuries and although it appears to have been a destination for the Roman wealthy, there were also permanent inhabitants of the city that belonged to low

The Adventures of Harry Lime (broadcast in the United States as The Lives of Harry Lime) was an old-time radio program produced in London, England during the 1951 to 1952 season.
Orson Welles reprised his role of Harry Lime from the celebrated 1949 film adaptation of Graham Greene's novel The Third Man. The radio series is a "prequel" to the film, and depicts the many misadventures of con-artist Lime in a somewhat lighter tone than the character's villainy in the film.
Most episodes would begin with "The Third Man Theme" being played, abruptly cut off by an echoing gunshot. Then Welles would speak: "That was the shot that killed Harry Lime. He died in a sewer beneath Vienna, as those of you know who saw the movie The Third Man. Yes, that was the end of Harry Lime ... but it was not the beginning. Harry Lime had many lives ... and I can recount all of them. How do I know? Very simple. Because my name is Harry Lime."
While modern audiences may not be that familiar with the movie The Third Man (we highly recommend you see it) as people were in 1951, this is a good adventure series, and anytime you have the opportunity to hear Orson Welles on radio, you have to give it a try.

OUT OF THE ASHES: RECOVERING THE LOST LIBRARY OF HERCULANEUM follows attempts over 250 years to unroll and decipher these precious manuscripts. It also describes modern efforts to use sophisticated multi-spectral imaging technology to read the blackened fragments. Today, 21st century scholars continue to debate the future of the original Villa of the Papyri at Herculaneum, where the scrolls were all found. The site was never fully excavated and recent discoveries have led many scholars to believe that other scrolls — and perhaps another entire library — may still be buried there.
Shot in High definition, this fascinating film features the insight of international experts and prominent scholars from the University of Naples, Oxford, University of California/Los Angeles, Brigham Young University, Texas A&M; University, the Getty Research Institute and the British School of Rome.

The Duchess of Malfi (originally published as The Tragedy of the Dutchesse of Malfy) is a macabre, tragic play written by the English dramatist John Webster in 1612–13.[1] It was first performed privately at the Blackfriars Theatre, then before a more general audience at The Globe, in 1613–14.[2]
Published in 1623, the play is loosely based on events that occurred between about 1508 and 1513. The Duchess was Giovanna d'Aragona, Duchess of Amalfi (d. 1511), whose father, Enrico d'Aragona, Marquis of Gerace, was an illegitimate son of Ferdinand I of Naples. As in the play, she secretly married Antonio Beccadelli di Bologna after the death of her first husband Alfonso I Piccolomini, Duke of Amalfi.
The play begins as a love story, with a Duchess who marries beneath her class, and ends as a nightmarish tragedy as her two brothers exact their revenge, destroying themselves in the process. Jacobean drama continued the trend of stage violence and horror set by Elizabethan tragedy, under the influence of Seneca.[3] The complexity of some of its characters, particularly Bosola and the Duchess, plus Webster's poetic language, ensure the play is often considered among the greatest tragedies of English renaissance drama.

So route one to world ownership for "St Paul" the sword wealding tax collector turned Saint was from Antioch across the Med to Salamis on Cyprus to PAPhos "TIT" for the Pythons then to PERGA (Pergammon Press publish the BIBLE) Attalia then into the PISSTAKE in PISIDIDA (where we have another QUAKY Antioch) leading to False ICONIUM Lystra and eventually to GORDON BOWD#EN's DERBE where the current duke of Devonshire have vast estates in the PACIFIED CHRISTIAN NATION that is Justin Welby's UK. ALL OF THE CRIME scenes for "Chritianity involve the POLIS Word so that is Neapolis Nr Prince Philippi's launch pad Apollonia and eventually they arrive exhausted at Ptolemais with PISO in it and MUCH closer to Jerusalem where the Crusades kill MILLION of all faiths and creeds. Computer has crashed and I have to walk you through MISSION number 3 to ROME where the Vatican became even bigger than CLUNY Abbey near the VOLCANOES at Clermont Ferand nr where WW1 started and where the BANK of INTERNATIONAL settlements is still BASIL FAWLTY's JOKE from the Python religious JOKERs. The Journey to the VATICAN is riddled with Volcanic and EARTHQUAKE risks cos effectively it is a PISO laugh at the Universal Gods as they get replaced by the non existent Jesus who's mum Mary becomes their mum and is still a VIRGIN . The Python team chatter about this like HERETICS. To get to Rome you visit/publish PAMPHYLLIA, Myra, CRETE, Phoenix rising with the church of ROME then you get SHIPWRECKED ON MALTA if your "Life" is a LIE. Then life and limb is shallow beneath the Med SEA (that is the Volcanic Cones) If you say a prayer to Mary's Ancient kids in the Heavens you might do OK like the Lumberjacks in the Pythons TAX HAVENS CRIMES. The most Constantine signals from god are about the MAFIAS nr Mt Etna on Sicily and took St Paul into travel sickness through Syracuse into Rhegium (Lord McCalpine of TORY fundraising's home at the TOE SUCKING place that is Rhegium ( means KING) . The Kings there who subdued the really CHRISTIAN WHOLLY ROMAN EMPEROR by using GEORGE the dragon Slayer of ANTIOCH who was a "XMAS" mercenary soldier but was actually MOORISH/ISLAMIC ..... HE FOUGHT for the NORMAN FRENCH GODFATHERS of SICILY who were named ROGER I & II but the Pythons do not think this is funny enough to mention untill MONTE CASINO is brutalised in WW2. One hopes one is converting you to a believer then we get to PUTEOLI and its second volcano that SPEWS out Rothschild Yellow Ash for COWARDICE and this is Naples again under its alias of NEAPOLIS (the global law enforcement joke). The eruptions co-incide with the worlds greates sins which takes us to the false news on (the US) Calvary Hill....."BARNABUS" was St Paul's admin man RELEASED By PONTIUS PILATE (Telly Savalus sucking his KOJAK polis Lolli) & by HEROD an full member of the PISO fraud team for the ROCK in Jerusalem JOKES. The released man is Jesus' trial an acknowledged murderer(but not mass murderer like St Paul before he saw the glint from the cash) & his name is Barabus (which launches the BARRA jokes in Scotland and God puts a rock face into Queen Victoria's regal image). The Monarchs, Papacy and all the religious & political leaders are revealed as Genocidal traitors. I tell little parables about familicide in Prince Charle's household and tragic accident's that kill three by lightening strikes in Prince of Wales vast tracts of HIS LAND in the Brecon Beacons. On the BIG QUAKES and VOLCANOES are much easier to see as a tool for the GODS who created our universe but resent being the kids of the Virgin Mary AS IT WAS WRITTEN BY THE PISOS. Buried beneath volcanic ash from the eruptions of Mt. Vesuvius, the ancient Roman city of Pompeii was lost for 1500 years before its discovery in the late 16th century ("Pompeii"). Pompeii's sociopolitical landscape of the city changed over the centuries and although it appears to have been a destination for the Roman wealthy, there were also permanent inhabitants of the city that belonged to lower social classes that contributed to city's economy.
As the Greek empire expanded, it took control of the area surrounding Pompeii and asserted its practices on the town during the 6th century BC ("Pompeii: 27 Centuries" 8). For nearly two centuries, Greek influence dominated in Pompeii as seen by a Doric Greek temple built in the mid-6th century ("Pompeii: 27 Centuries" 8) and evidence that the Greek gods were upheld. Shelly Hales discusses how the Greek gods were represented in her essay "Dionysos at Pompeii". For the wealthy, Pompeii was a city of luxury and extravagance; it's only fitting that those who could afford the pleasures of the city held the Greek god Dionysos with high regards. According to Hales, Dionysos' "imagery as a motif of the pleasures of life" supports the ideas of luxury and indulgence so it's not surprising that many relics found in wealthy homes are decorated with images of the god (335).
Around 310 BC, Roman forces plundered the area surrounding Pompeii and took political control of the area. Pompeii's inhabitants now lived in a unique city; one that combined the culture of Ancient Greece with the social, political, and economic landscape of the emerging Roman Empire. One of the biggest changes in the city under Roman order was the widespread use of water (Jones 695). While water was publicly accessible in many Greek cities, the presence of an organized and constant supply of water to the masses in large cities was a "striking feature of the Roman ability to provide an urban infrastructure" (Jones 695).
Jones and Robinson examine the distribution and display of water in the city as a symbol of status by examining the House of Vestals. According to Jones and Robinson, Pompeii contains many Hellenistic mansions that displayed the wealth of its inhabitants through architectural style and interior décor rather than by size of the property (697). Distribution of water changed the way the upper class could display their wealth in Pompeii. While water remained accessible through street fountains, indoor plumbing became a symbol of status in Pompeii around the 1st century BC (Jones 696). At the House of Vestals archeologists uncovered a complete system of indoor water pipes, drains, and cisterns which support the level of luxury upheld in the home (Jones 697). You know you're well-off when you don't have to bathe in public!
Water was also used for economic purposes. Because Pompeii was a luxurious destination for the wealthy, lower class inhabitants created an economy that appealed to their wants through commercial flower growing. Wilhelmina Jashemski states that remnants of commercial flower gardens are scattered throughout the Campania area including Pomepii (403) in her essay "The Garden of Hercules at Pompeii: The Discovery of a Commercial Flower Garden". Near the Garden of Hercules there are "wall paintings at Pompeii [that] picture the procedures of making garlands and perfume" as well as rough plans displaying soil planting patterns, provisions for watering, and perfume bottles
