Its Shanghai branch has the cards in stock but says it is still waiting for an order from company headquarters to start selling them. Currently no Chinese telecom operators sell such cards on the Chinese mainland. Some buyers who planned to buy an iPhone 5 when it goes on sale in Hong Kong later this week worry that the phones won t work in the Chinese mainland.
