01. Desert Botanical Garden
A 140 acres (57 ha) botanical garden located at 1201 N. Galvin Parkway. Established in 1939. Has more than 21,000 plants. It focuses on plants adapted to desert conditions, including an Australian collection, a Baja California collection and a South American collection.
02. Phoenix Zoo
A zoo opened in 1962. The largest privately owned zoo in the US. Has over 1,400 animals on display and contains 2.5 miles of walking trails. Divided into four main themed areas or trails: The Arizona Trail, the Africa Trail, the Tropics Trail, and the Children's Trail.
03. Grand Canyon
A steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River. Is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (1,800 meters). Managed by Grand Canyon National Park, the Hualapai Tribal Nation, the Havasupai Tribe and the Navajo Nation.

A museum dedicated to the historical preservation of fire fighting equipment used through the years around the world. Has five exhibit bays and the National Firefighting Hall of Heroes gallery. Has a large collection of Fire Department arm patches.
06. Castles N' Coasters
An amusement park and family amusement center. The approximately 10-acre (40,000 m2) park features four outdoor 18-hole miniature golf courses, several rides, and an indoor video game arcade. Was built in 1980, and is designed in a Middle-Eastern motif.
07. Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza
An urban park and gathering place. Serves as a home to a number of memorials honoring prominent figures in Arizona history as well as memorializing significant wars and other events that have had an impact on the state.
08. Ro Ho En
A Japanese stroll garden. Encompasses 3.5 acres (14,000 m2) and includes a tea garden and tea house. A joint project of the sister cities of Phoenix and Himeji, Japan. Ro means Heron, a bird symbol of Himeji City; Ho a Japanese word for mythical Phoenix; En means garden.
09. Arizona Science Center
Focused on inspiring, educating, and entertaining people about science. Home to over 350 permanent hands-on exhibits. One of the most successful cultural attractions in Arizona. Include more than 40,000 square feet of gallery space; an IMAX Theater; Dorrance Planetarium.
10. Pioneer Living History Village
A living museum. Sometimes called the Pioneer Living History Museum. The grand opening of the museum was celebrated February 15, 1969. Some of the original founders included Paul Fannin, Barry Goldwater, Carl Hayden, and Wesley Bolin.

Thanks to arty for her help editing the video!
In this video, I demonstrate how I am able to do 5.5 Phoenix Valley (PV) runs solo with my cleric on a single 15 minute entry token. Since my last video, I have acquired the admittedly over-powered r9rr weapon, as well as the full r9rr armor, and refined it variously to +12, +11, or not at all (leggings just won't get -6% channeling!) Since I now have the r9rr weapon, in this video you'll notice I don't have to ever switch weapons, which really streamlines things. Also, as you may be able to notice, my weapon gets me the Purify proc MUCH more frequently, making runs safer and faster. I don't believe its possible for me to get faster than this, because unless I slow down (stutter-step), mobs reset.
My self-buffed stats are now as follows (I'm sage btw):
14498 hp - I sacrifice 50 magic points for str, in order to equip a light armor g16 helmet which requires 104 str points, which gives me ~1000 more hp than other clerics who are pure magic and also have +12 helm
11326 mp
21369-26263 magic attack
9% crit rate
130 attack lvls/49 def lvls with jones blessing; 115 attack levels and 64 def lvls with o'malleys blessing

Unfortunately, there are so many pieces of information given on the gear that, when I hover my mouse over the chestpiece (as shown a few seconds into the video) you can't actually see its refine! Thus I'll list my gear below, as it currently is. (I've imbued one extra Jade of Steady Defense and rerolled leggings a few times; otherwise no change since this video was filmed.)

Good luck on your own PV adventures! With the 2nd token from Shroud, I'm currently, reliably, gaining 50mil+ xp every day. Thus I am currently on track to lvl from 104-105 in 35 days or less. Whether you have r8r weapon or r9rr weapon, PV is an incredible place to gain XP for clerics, and I hope this video encourages all clerics out there to give it a try!

To enter Phoenix Valley, all you have to do is:
1. Get a squad of players in the same level bracket.
2. Talk to Khoan the Survivor (571 646)
3. Head on into the caves and speak to the corresponding Earth Elemental for your level range.
Note: You can enter once per day, which resets at midnight server time.
This dungeon is chock-full of wraiths that are just itching to be wiped out by you and your squad members. Fun and great EXP are there for the taking as you cleave your way through wraith after wraith!

Simple, single-pull method for Phoenix Valley, shown here on cleric. This method could be adapted for any arcane tanky enough, and also (possibly) physical classes as well. *Edit* read below regarding use of tangling mire vs alpha male.
*Somebody tried this on a melee class, and they discovered that, instead of using alpha male, the genie skill Tangling Mire helped them a lot more. As a melee, you don't have the 'purify' proc on weapon, and using tangling mire helps slow the mobs down, so that you have time to escape from an immobilize. Tangling mire also has a lower energy cost, so using it 2-3 times throughout the pull to keep the aggro of mobs is quite easy to do. And when you get to the end, you can use tangling mire one more time to help kill the mobs faster.
The flip side is, you are required to rotate your screen view to click on a mob in the middle of the mob pack. If this causes too much lag for you, tangling mire may not work for you.
Regardless of which genie skill you employ, they are both used at the same spot in the instance.

Valley
A valley is a low area between hills, often with a river running through it.

PWI: Phoenix Valley (PV) 100+ Soloed by Cleric (r9rr weapon and armor)
Thanks to arty for her help editing the video! In this video, I demonstrate how I am able to do 5.5 Phoenix Valley (PV) runs solo with my cleric on a single 15 minute entry token. Since my last video, I have acquired the admittedly over-powered r9rr weapon, as well as the full r9rr armor, and refined it variously to +12, +11, or not at all (leggings just won't get -6% channeling!) Since I now have the r9rr weapon, in this video you'll notice I don't have to ever switch weapons, which really streamlines things. Also, as you may be able to notice, my weapon gets me the Purify proc MUCH more frequently, making runs safer and faster. I don't believe its possible for me to get faster than this, because unless I slow down (stutter-step), mobs reset. My self-buffed stats are now as follows ...

This dungeon is chock-full of wraiths that are just itching to be wiped out by you and your squad members. PWI: Fastest Way to do Phoenix Valley
Simple, single-pull method for Phoenix Valley, shown here on cleric. This method could be adapted for any arcane tanky enough, and also (possibly) physical classes as well. *Edit* read below regarding use of tangling mire vs alpha male. *Somebody tried this on a melee class, and they discovered that, instead of using alpha male, the genie skill Tangling Mire helped them a lot more. As a melee, you don't have the 'purify' proc on weapon, and using tangling mire helps slow the mobs down, so that you have time to escape from an immobilize. Tangling mire also has a lower energy cost, so using it 2-3 times throughout the pull to keep the aggro of mobs is quite easy to do. And when you get to the end, you can use tangling mire one more time to help kill the mobs faster. The flip side is, ...

An urban park and gathering place. Serves as a home to a number of memorials honoring prominent figures in Arizona history as well as memorializing significant wars and other events that have had an impact on the state.

A Japanese stroll garden. Encompasses 3.5 acres (14,000 m2) and includes a tea garden and tea house. A joint project of the sister cities of Phoenix and Himeji, Japan. Ro means Heron, a bird symbol of Himeji City; Ho a Japanese word for mythical Phoenix; En means garden.

Focused on inspiring, educating, and entertaining people about science. Home to over 350 permanent hands-on exhibits. One of the most successful cultural attractions in Arizona. Include more than 40,000 square feet of gallery space; an IMAX Theater; Dorrance Planetarium.

*Somebody tried this on a melee class, and they discovered that, instead of using alpha male, the genie skill Tangling Mire helped them a lot more. As a melee, you don't have the 'purify' proc on weapon, and using tangling mire helps slow the mobs down, so that you have time to escape from an immobilize. Tangling mire also has a lower energy cost, so using it 2-3 times throughout the pull to keep the aggro of mobs is quite easy to do. And when you get to the end, you can use tangling mire one more time to help kill the mobs faster.
The flip side is, you are required to rotate your screen view to click on a mob in the middle of the mob pack. If this causes too much lag for you, tangling mire may not work for you.
Regardless of which genie skill you employ, they are both used at the same spot in the instance.

PWI: Phoenix Valley (PV) 100+ Soloed by Cleric (r9rr weapon and armor)
Thanks to arty for her help editing the video! In this video, I demonstrate how I am able to do 5.5 Phoenix Valley (PV) runs solo with my cleric on a single 15 minute entry token. Since my last video, I have acquired the admittedly over-powered r9rr weapon, as well as the full r9rr armor, and refined it variously to +12, +11, or not at all (leggings just won't get -6% channeling!) Since I now have the r9rr weapon, in this video you'll notice I don't have to ever switch weapons, which really streamlines things. Also, as you may be able to notice, my weapon gets me the Purify proc MUCH more frequently, making runs safer and faster. I don't believe its possible for me to get faster than this, because unless I slow down (stutter-step), mobs reset. My self-buffed stats are now as follows ...

This dungeon is chock-full of wraiths that are just itching to be wiped out by you and your squad members. A steep-sided canyon carved by the Colorado River. Is 277 miles (446 km) long, up to 18 miles (29 km) wide and attains a depth of over a mile (1,800 meters). Managed by Grand Canyon National Park, the Hualapai Tribal Nation, the Havasupai Tribe and the Navajo Nation.

A municipal park. Includes Hunt's Tomb. A hilly desert park covering 1200 acres in its Phoenix extent and 296 acres in its Tempe extent. Notable for its many distinctive geological formations and its wide variety of typical desert plants, including the giant saguaro cactus.
05. Hall of Flame Fire Museum
A museum dedicated to the historical preservation of fire fighting equipment used through the years around the world. Has five exhibit bays and the National Firefighting Hall of Heroes gallery. Has a large collection of Fire Department arm patches.
06. Castles N' Coasters
An amusement park and family amusement center. The approximately 10-acre (40,000 m2) park features four outdoor 18-hole miniature golf courses, several rides, and an indoor video game arcade. Was built in 1980, and is designed in a Middle-Eastern motif.
07. Wesley Bolin Memorial Plaza
An urban park and gathering place. Serves as a home to a number of memorials honoring prominent figures in Arizona history as well as memorializing significant wars and other events that have had an impact on the state.
08. Ro Ho En
A Japanese stroll garden. Encompasses 3.5 acres (14,000 m2) and includes a tea garden and tea house. A joint project of the sister cities of Phoenix and Himeji, Japan. Ro means Heron, a bird symbol of Himeji City; Ho a Japanese word for mythical Phoenix; En means garden.
09. Arizona Science Center
Focused on inspiring, educating, and entertaining people about science. Home to over 350 permanent hands-on exhibits. One of the most successful cultural attractions in Arizona. Include more than 40,000 square feet of gallery space; an IMAX Theater; Dorrance Planetarium.
10. Pioneer Living History Village
A living museum. Sometimes called the Pioneer Living History Museum. The grand opening of the museum was celebrated February 15, 1969. Some of the original founders included Paul Fannin, Barry Goldwater, Carl Hayden, and Wesley Bolin.

Simple, single-pull method for Phoenix Valley, shown here on cleric. This method could be adapted for any arcane tanky enough, and also (possibly) physical classes as well. *Edit* read below regarding use of tangling mire vs alpha male.
*Somebody tried this on a melee class, and they discovered that, instead of using alpha male, the genie skill Tangling Mire helped them a lot more. As a melee, you don't have the 'purify' proc on weapon, and using tangling mire helps slow the mobs down, so that you have time to escape from an immobilize. Tangling mire also has a lower energy cost, so using it 2-3 times throughout the pull to keep the aggro of mobs is quite easy to do. And when you get to the end, you can use tangling mire one more time to help kill the mobs faster.
The flip side is, you are required to rotate your screen view to click on a mob in the middle of the mob pack. If this causes too much lag for you, tangling mire may not work for you.
Regardless of which genie skill you employ, they are both used at the same spot in the instance.

Thanks to arty for her help editing the video! In this video, I demonstrate how I am able to do 5.5 Phoenix Valley (PV) runs solo with my cleric on a single 15 minute entry token. Since my last video, I have acquired the admittedly over-powered r9rr weapon, as well as the full r9rr armor, and refined it variously to +12, +11, or not at all (leggings just won't get -6% channeling!) Since I now have the r9rr weapon, in this video you'll notice I don't have to ever switch weapons, which really streamlines things. Also, as you may be able to notice, my weapon gets me the Purify proc MUCH more frequently, making runs safer and faster. I don't believe its possible for me to get faster than this, because unless I slow down (stutter-step), mobs reset. My self-buffed stats are now as follows ...

Phoenix Police Chase (September 06, 2016)
PHOENIX - A suspect in a bank robbery and pursuit from Avondale to Tempe has died after an exchange of gunfire with police officers Tuesday afternoon. The deceased suspect has been identified as Steven Del Rio, 31, who had previously spent time in prison for armed robbery, aggravated assault and endangerment, according to Arizona Department of Corrections records. In this video, I demonstrate how I am able to do 5.5 Phoenix Valley (PV) runs solo with my cleric on a single 15 minute entry token. Since my last video, I have acquired the admittedly over-powered r9rr weapon, as well as the full r9rr armor, and refined it variously to +12, +11, or not at all (leggings just won't get -6% channeling!) Since I now have the r9rr weapon, in this video you'll notice I don't have to ever switch weapons, which really streamlines things. Also, as you may be able to notice, my weapon gets me the Purify proc MUCH more frequently, making runs safer and faster. I don't believe its possible for me to get faster than this, because unless I slow down (stutter-step), mobs reset.
My self-buffed stats are now as follows (I'm sage btw):
14498 hp - I sacrifice 50 magic points for str, in order to equip a light armor g16 helmet which requires 104 str points, which gives me ~1000 more hp than other clerics who are pure magic and also have +12 helm

During the chase, two suspects got out of the car and ran. They were eventually detained, one by a Maricopa County Sheriff's Office canine, according to Phoenix police.
The two suspects have been identified as 19-year-old Sergio Escobedo and 31-year-old Ruben Rodriguez.
According to police, Rodriguez said he needed the money to pay off a drug debt.
Sky 12 captured video of the car going into an alley near Central Avenue and Roeser Road, where Del Rio threw a bag from the car. It appeared a woman opened the gate from a home to the avenue and took the bag.
Joseph Santeyan said the woman is his wife and Del Rio is his brother-in-law.
"Unfortunately, her brother made a decision today where he made a mistake and the consequences was losing his life," Santeyan said. "We tried to keep him straight, doing the right thing.
Near the I-10 on-ramp at Baseline Road, police performed a pit maneuver which brought Del Rio's SUV to a stop. The officers involved were driving unmarked vehicles.
Multiple shots were fired by officers into Del Rio's vehicle.
According the Tempe Fire Department, Del Rio was pronounced dead at the scene.
The woman who picked up the bag in the alley was later seen getting into a police vehicle. It's unknown if she was being arrested or just questioned.
"All I know is that my wife was home when [Del Rio] was out there doing whatever with whoever," Santeyan said.
The value of property taken or damaged is approximately $11,000, according to court paperwork

PHOENIX - A suspect in a bank robbery and pursuit from Avondale to Tempe has died after an exchange of gunfire with police officers Tuesday afternoon.
The deceased suspect has been identified as Steven Del Rio, 31, who had previously spent time in prison for armed robbery, aggravated assault and endangerment, according to Arizona Department of Corrections records.
Del Rio was most recently released from prison in May.
Aerial footage of the pursuit showed the suspect speeding down Valley roadways.
The robbery occurred at an Avondale bank, Credit Union West.
According to police, someone in the suspect car shot at an Avondale officer when he tried to stop the SUV near Dysart Road and Van Buren Street.
Phoenix police then took over the chase.
