Plot
'New' is the prodigal-son story of Isaiah, told by Penny who, along with her best friends, Nattie, Emmie, and Jess, spend their summer working at a Creative Arts Center. Together, they participate in 'Art in the Park', a festival created for children to experience the joy of the arts. The summer is not without it's challenges, though. Isaiah, Emmie's adopted brother, is tempted by a top-entertainment talent scout to compromise his beliefs and leave his family and kids who look up to him, for a life of fame. And we can't forget about Penny's dog, Judah! A big Goldendoodle full of energy! 'New' is full of dancing, art, music, drama, comedy, and is meant to encourage kids and families to go after their God-given talents.

Plot

Daggubati Ramanaidu (Telugu: దగ్గుబాటి రామానాయుడు) (born 6 June 1936) is an Indian movie producer. In 2010, he was conferred with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India's highest award in cinema by the Government of India for lifetime contribution to Indian cinema. The Guinness Book of Records lists him as the most prolific producer with 130 films. Apart from producing Telugu movies, he has also produced movies in languages such as Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Bengali. He also received honorary doctorate from Sri Venkateswara University, Tirupathi.
He was born on 6 June 1936 to Daggubati Venkateswarlu and Lakshmi Devamma in Karamchedu in the present-day Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh. In 1963, he produced his first Telugu film Anuragam, followed by a very successful Ramudu Bheemudu starring N. T. Rama Rao in 1964.
He is a member of the Telugu Desam Party and represented Baptala constituency in Guntur District in the 13th Lok Sabha from 1999-2004. He lost in the elections to the same seat for the 14th Lok Sabha in 2004.

Kaikala Satyanarayana (Telugu: కైకాల సత్యనారాయణ), a versatile Telugu cine actor, was born on 25 July 1935 to Kaikala Laxmi Narayana couple at Kautaram village in Krishna district. Having completed his primary and intermediate education in Gudivada and Vijayawada, Satyanarayana graduated from Gudivada College. He married Nageswaramma on 10 April 1960 and is blessed with two daughters and two sons.
With his striking personality and sound voice, Satyanarayana landed in Madras for roles in movies. He was first noticed by D. L. Narayana, who offered him a role in his film Sipayi Koothuru directed by Changayya in 1959. Though it did not do well at the box office, he was noticed by one and all. One of the reasons why the makers noticed him is his resemblance to N.T. Rama Rao. They found him as a prospective candidate to play dupe to NTR. Satyanarayana aptly fitted that place. He played dupe to NTR in several movies. This is when NTR noticed him. NTR offered Satyanarayana a role in his film Apoorva Sahasra Siraccheda Chintamani in 1960, directed by S. D. Lal. Satyanarayana played the role of a prince.
