Vasudhara

Vasudhārā, whose name means "stream of gems" in Sanskrit, is the Buddhist bodhisattva of wealth, prosperity, and abundance. She is popular in many Buddhist countries and is a subject in Buddhist legends and art. Originally an Indian bodhisattva, her popularity has spread to southern Buddhist countries. Her popularity, however, peaks in Nepal where she has a strong following among the Buddhist Newars of the Kathmandu Valley and is thus a central figure in Newar Buddhism. She is named Shiskar Apa in Lahul and Spiti.

Her mantra is oṃ Vasudhāre svāhā.

Buddhist water libation

In Burmese Buddhism, the water ceremony, called yay zet cha, which involves the ceremonial pouring of water from a glass into a vase, drop by drop, concludes most Buddhist ceremonies including donation celebrations and feasts. This ceremonial libation is done to share the accrued merit with all other living beings in all 31 planes of existence. While the water is poured, a confession of faith, called the hsu taung imaya dhammanu, is recited and led by the monks. Then, the merit is distributed by the donors, called ahmya wei by saying Ahmya ahmya ahmya yu daw mu gya ba gon law three times, with the audience responding thadu, Pali for "well done." The earth goddess Vasudhara is invoked to witness these meritorious deeds. Afterward, the libated water is poured on soil outside, to return the water to Vasudhara.

Vasudhara Falls

Vasudhara Falls is a waterfall situated near Badrinath, in Uttarakhand, India. Total distance from Badrinath to Vasudhara is 9 km. The first 3 kilometers of badrinath to mana village is drivable road. Next 6 km is walkable trek from Mana village to Vasudhara waterfall. The log inheight of this waterfall is 400 ft(122 mt)

Mana Village and Vasudhara Fall are usually accessible to tourists during the same season of year when Badrinath temple is open to general public (usually from 2nd week of May to October or November every year*). Badrinath, is accessible by motor vehicles from Rishikesh. Rishikesh is the nearest railway station in this region.

Trekking up to Vasudhara Fall, from Mana

Mana village is believed to be a temporary stay point of legendary Pandavas, during their exile. The foot trek starts from Mana village. After passing Saraswati Mandir, the trek becomes tough as walkway being very steep. Sometimes, Trekking feels like rolling over the stone pebbled path. The views of vasudhara river valley during this inclined trek are very scenic. The trekking from Mana to Vasudhara takes two hours.
There are no food or water utilities along the route, So please carry your own water bottle and light food snacks in a back-pack (pitthu bag). Sports shoes are advisable to wear during this tough stony mountain trek.

Allu Arjun

Allu Arjun is an Indian film actor who works in Telugu cinema. He has won three Filmfare Best Telugu Actor Awards for Parugu, Vedam and Race Gurram two Nandi Special Jury Awards for Arya and Parugu, and CineMAA Award for Best Actor Male for Gangotri And Race Gurram.

Personal life

Allu Arjun was born to producer Allu Aravind and Nirmala. He is the paternal grandson of comedian Allu Rama Lingaiah..

On 6 March 2011, Arjun married Sneha Reddy in Hyderabad. He has a son born in 2014 .

Career

2001–2007

After playing child artist in Vijetha and as a dancer in Daddy, Arjun appeared in Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao's Gangotri. The movie completed 100 days in 102 centers. Arjun then appeared in Sukumar's comedy Arya.idlebrain.com stated "With his exceptionally great performance in Arya, hero Allu Arjun announces that he is here to stay and to leave a mark of his own."
