Again, if you go to codingcertification.org/products, they'll give you links to each of these products that you can go and read about or put a nice list of things. I want to spend a little bit more time on this slide because this is some of the new stuff, and had some questions on our Facebook group, so I wanted to clarify it. The ICD-10-CM Mini Course that we've had for awhile is just that, it's just a mini course it's not a full course like our Physician-Based Coding Course or Facility Based-Coding Course. I would say it's about half as far as how long it takes to get through it, so I call it a 40-hour equivalent course. We're using the Carol Buck's "Step-by-Step Medical Coding" book for that, so a lot of people already have that book so we just go over the chapters that she's devoted to ICD-10. It's really designed for people that are very proficient at ICD-9 coding; they just need that bridge to be able to be proficient for the AAPC proficiency assessment and for real world coding. The second one that we're very excited about is our ICD-10-CM Full Course, it's currently on special. This is an 80-hour equivalent course, it is a full course, and this one is going to be taught live. This is our first time doing it rather than prerecording the lectures. Medical Coding Course Product Line up. CLICK HERE To Get More CPC Exam Tips, Coding Certification Training and CEU Credits. http://www.codingcertification.org Laureen: This is just to give a quick outline for those who are new to the call, maybe you haven't really got a thorough search of our website, but basically we've got a great Medical Terminology & Anatomy Course. It's actually using a textbook written by a coder for coders, the title of it is Medical Terminology & Anatomy for ICD-10 Coding because it pulls in preview, getting you ready for the new ICD-10 coding system, but it's a typical medical terminology book grouped by organ systems. It's very good; we've got lots of great feedback on it. The course includes the textbook and lectures by me, tests, practice exercises. It's been very well received. We've got our flagship course, the Physician Based Coding Course, PBC for short. That's the one that people take when they're preparing for the CPC course, and that you can work in a physician office, outpatient office. You will get a full CPT training and ICD-9 training and HCPCS. The Facility-Based Medical Coding Course is a fairly new offering that is for those who are preparing for the CPC-H. The "H" on that stands for "outpatient hospital." Not everyone knows that, they think inpatient and outpatient, but it's just outpatient. The AAPC isn't trying to get into the inpatient world, they're leaving that for AHIMA; so the CPC-H is outpatient. It's basically, everything that you learned in the Physician-Based Coding Course, in addition to reimbursement knowledge related to outpatient. The coding aspect chapters are a little more condensed than what you would get in the Physician-Based Coding Course. That's how that one works and we currently have that on sale, $300 off, because it's a new offering. We've got our famous Review Blitz Video Package. With that comes either on DVD or online. If you are a PBC student we bundle that in. We've got our new Mini-Mock Practice Exams. Thank you, Ruth. Those are great, they are just 50 questions each and you can do them like in two hours and get a score immediately online to know how you're doing. Our formula for success you'll hear us talk about is number one, a good course, like our PBC course. Number two, a good review like our Blitz. And number three, timed practice exams until you get an 85%. If you follow those three steps, you are sure to pass your exam the first time. But the practice exams are very key. Once you get your certification and you're looking for CEU classes besides what we offer here once a month we've got CEU Classes (On Demand). I just wanted to draw your attention to the Replay Club. What we've done is, we've broken up every single chapter from the courses and made them into (On Demand) CEU Classes. This might be new for a lot of people on the call even the groupies. So, if you're looking for CEU or if you just want to take one of our chapters, if you will, then this is a great way to do it. We've got Anesthesia, Business of Medicine, Cardiovascular, Digestive, E/M -- that's a popular one. So, check this out. We have got a nice long list now, CEUs, very reasonably priced. I do want to show you that. Then, we've got our ICD-10-CM Mini Course, that kind of helps you transition from your the ICD-9 knowledge to the new ICD-10 Coding system that will help you prepare for the proficiency exam if you're already certified. ICD-10 will not be tested on until January 2015. It goes into effect October 2014, but as far as CPC exam, it won't show up until January 2015. If you want to see a listing of all of our courses and products, just go to CodingCertification.Org/products.- published: 28 Aug 2013

DSLR crop factor, lens types, Depth Of Field - Filmmaking Tutorial
My Amazon Filmmaking recommended buy list:
http://www.amazon.com/registry/wishlist/1ZETVDLH7JMLA/?_encoding=UTF8&camp;=1789&creative;=390957&filter;=all&layout;=standard&linkCode;=ur2&reveal;=unpurchased&sort;=priority&tag;=viewnow-20&x;=10&y;=9
The first thing to understand is that lenses are built to project a certain size image circle, a full frame lens, also known as a 35mm, projects a 35mm size image circle. Then we have cropped sensor lenses, which are referred to as digital only, or digi, or whatever horrid marketing terms they chose, and basically they are built to project a smaller image circle, because the cameras they are intended for have the smaller sized 'cropped' sensors.
Likewise a 4/3rds sensor camera has 4/3rds lenses, and 16mm and 2/3" sensor sized cameras have lenses with 16mm sized image circles. You can usually put a larger format lens on a smaller format camera, but it won't see as much of the image circle, which is what we call a crop factor. you cannot go the other way, because then you will get a peep hole effect, vignetting to the extreme.
And now for our first debunk, because every time i hear someone talking about dslr video they say, well, the 5d has the amazing shallow depth of field, and it's because of it's huge sensor. Now granted, i'm sure not everyone out there thinks that sensors create DOF, but we'll clarify it for those who may not know: consider this demonstration, you can put a 35mm type lens on either a 35mm full frame camera, or on a smaller sensor body, but that sensor is going to 'crop' that larger image circle, so we're going to see a narrower FOV. So imagine this same lens on either camer, one with the larger sensor, one with the smaller.
So where did the dof change? Here's a clue, it didn't. the sensor has nothing to do with DOF, it is physically impossible for the sensor the create or manipulate DOF, it simply captures the light being projected onto it. DOF is created in the lens.
Moving on, in practice you can end up with shallower DOF with a larger sensor because the sensor is seeing more, aka larger field of view than a smaller sensor, so to get the same field of view as a smaller sensor camera you will need a longer focal length, and that in turn leads to a shallower depth of field.
One last thing on DOF, many of you at one point were shooting something and said to yourself, hey, i want a shallower depth of field, let me pull back the camera and zoom in, because a longer focal length gives me a shallower depth of field. Well, yes, but no, not for what you just did.
Try this out for yourself: Take two different photos of the same scene, place an object or person out in front of a background. Use a 50mm focal length. Then take the second shot by moving the camera back far enough so that you need a 100mm focal length to maintain the same field of view of that object/person. Change no other settings, especially keep the aperture the same.
You're probably now looking at the two photos and calling me an idiot, because of coarse you're seeing much more background blur in the 100mm shot. Actually... you're not. What you're seeing is the exact same amount of blur.
The reason the DOF stays the same is because you didn't just use a longer focal length, you also changed the focus distance, there is an inverse relationship between the focal length and the distance of the focus subject, what you are actually doing by pulling back is simply magnifying the background bokeh, and anytime you magnify an object, you see more detail, and in this case you see more blurry detail. To your credit, it is achieving what you were out to get, a blurrier background, but when going about it or showing someone how to do it, be sure to not pass along misinformation by saying your creating a shallower depth of field. Your actors have exactly the same amount of space to move in.
Lastly, I want to put something in it's place: Full frame sensors will not make you famous. See because ever since the 5D2 came out, people have been clamoring over the Full Frame “look”, and I hear far too often about how smaller sensors are garbage. Well those who say such things are children, children who need to learn...
Here is a trivia question, how many hollywood movies out there were shot on FF vistavision? That's right, nearly none. How many are shot on cropped, s35 sized digital acquisition? A good chunk of the market. Now, what other sized digital sensor has other numerous hollywood films been shot on?
The good old 16mm sized 2/3" sensor. Which, was the first sized sensor to be used as the A camera on a hollywood production, which was star wars episode 2 shot on the f900. So riddle me this filmmaker, you're saying that you need a FF, when your ultimate competitor is doing just fine with a fraction of that size... i call BS. Case in point, nearly any modern sensor size over 1/2” (EX1) will give you a great image.

GESTALT WORK ON AWARENESS WITH BEL part 3 (HQ)
part 3 of a two hour gestalt session on awareness with actress bel baca. the focus here is "the rhythm of contact and withdrawal", alternating between contact with the environment and withdrawal into the void of "not knowing" to discover what fantasies and new ideas are waiting to emerge into awareness there.

HOW I WORK: GESTALT DREAMWORK AS THEATER AND PROPHECY
GESTALT DREAM WORK AS PREPARATION FOR PERFORMING
Since 1975 I have been using Gestalt work on awareness, dreams and personal relationships as a way to train and direct performers. The basic principle is simple. I use the Gestalt work to peel the onion of layer after layer of social cliches, ego games and unfinished personal business, and then I do the reverse process reconstituting the onion in the form of characters or other artist structures. The existential message of the dream becomes the superobjective or action of the tragedy, and then I build up the way the performer handles the characters and the plot around that.
My usual procedure is to begin the training with three Gestalt sessions, one on one. The first session, two hours long, deals with the three zones of awareness. During the first hour I simply let him relate what he aware of, since I want to know how he operates before I start meddling with his life. This is important since overall during the Gestalt sessions we are peeling the onion of cliches and games to get to authentic action, and later we will need all of those layers to rebuild the onion as characters involved in the unfolding action of a drama. We need his cliche and game layers for the beginning of the action in Act One as much as we need his authentic action at the end of the dramatic action for Acts Four and Five of a tragic drama.
During the second hour of the first Gestalt session on awareness I attempt to guide him towards a balance of the zones of awareness: outer zone awareness of the environment, inner zone awareness of his body, and fantasy zone awareness of his daydreams. The second and third Gestalt sessions are each three hours long, and each is a typical Gestalt dreamwork session as presented by Fritz Perls in Gestalt Therapy Verbatim. The performer tells the dream in the here and now, identifies with (play acts) several of the main images of the dream in dialogues with each other, and experiences the rhythm of contact and withdrawal. That is to say, after each major dialogue of polarized sides of himself (the contact part) he is instructed to close his eyes, enter his body awareness and daydream (the withdrawal phase of the rhythm).
Since my goal is theater as well as healing, whenever possible during the Gestalt dreamwork I encourage lots of expression using sound and movements. I work with a palette of about 200 different types of recorded musical excerpts, and whenever appropriate I ask him if that image or emotional state were part of a movie what sort of music might be the sound track. Then I find something close to that in my palette of musical colors and ask him to express the mood using the music along with his vocalizing and expressive movements. While he is doing the entire session I spend most of my time jotting down near verbatim notes and making stick figures of his poses and movements, since later in the work I will feed all this back to him and encourage him to explore using it as creative material for acting, dance or whatever his medium is. Taping the session is less useful, since then I would need to spend too much time replaying the tapes. Taking notes live forces me to sort out the wheat from the chaff very efficiently, even at the cost of not observing or notating every detail.
WORKING OUT FROM YOUR CENTERS
After the three introductory one on one Gestalt sessions, session number four is for feedback and discussion of the results. I show him in my notes and diagrams all of the stages of competed and uncompleted actions, and together we search for characters in the theater literature that have similar patterns of action. Is he a Hamlet type, or an Oedipus type, for example? In contrast to the usual practice in acting classes, his first acting assignment probably will be a monologue from a serious tragedy, since I want him to begin with a dramatic action with which he can identify totally. In this process he is using his major Gestalt moments as what Michael Chekhov in his book "To The Actor" labels "psychological gestures". Per
