I decided to finish up an old thing that I was remaking. Even this remake is over a month old. I think I added about another ten seconds to finish. College is going well, for all who are asking, but as this horse video proves, I am missing Jetta. Here is some info on kelpies and the English translation to the lyrics, as seen on the original video: The kelpie, also called the each uisge when found in the sea, the Glashtyn on the Isle of Man, the Pooka on Ireland, or simply "the water horse," is an evil water spirit found in Celtic myth. They are shapeshifters and are most often seen in the form of a horse. Many legends say these horses are black or gray. Some say white or "green as glass." Most say, as a shapeshifter, the kelpie can be any color. As a horse, kelpies are the fastest, strongest, most enduring horse of all. They can be beautiful rding horses, majestic light drafts, or cute ponies, depending on what their prey prefers. These horses will approach unwitting people while appearing friendly. Sometimes they force their female victims to marry them, live with them in their watery home, and have their children. Females kelpies are found less commonly in myth but are just as deadly. They usually take the form of beautiful women in a green dress and are similar to the water wraith myth. The only way to survive a kelpie once it has you is to gain control of its bridle, which is the source of its shapeshifting power. Once you have the bridle, it is at your mercy. You may keep the amazingly strong and fast horse as yours and even breed it to land horses. The result will be very strong, very fast, very beautiful horses with a fondness for water. However, keeping any faerie captive, especially a kelpie, is very dangerous. In this video, I put the kelpie (the each uisge version, the most dangerous one) to the song "Dulaman" (which translates "Seaweed") as performed by Celtic Women. "Dulaman" is a completely Gaelic song, and so I felt it fit. The song follows various kelpies as they encounter humans, win the humans' trust, allow themselves to be ridden, and then eventually drown their victims.
