Plus Two refers to the segment of Indian and Nepali school education that is made of standards (grades) 11 and 12, known as higher secondary education by Nepal for the first time. In most states in India, the Plus Two is part of high school; in a few, it is called Junior College and is part of college education. Plus Two education is provided by each state individually and Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Each state has its own syllabus for Plus Two while CBSE provides unified syllabus which is followed in all states. Plus Two education is essential for getting admission to colleges. Passing SLC is essential for getting admission to Plus Two.
Unit 4 + 2 were a British pop band, who had a number one hit in the UK Singles Chart in 1965 with the song "Concrete and Clay". The track topped the UK chart for one week.
In 1962, Brian Parker, then the guitar player and songwriter with The Hunters, decided to form his own vocal harmony group. He asked his friend David 'Buster' Meikle to join him. They asked singer Tommy Moeller and Peter Moules, who were at school together, to join their group which they called Unit 4.
Unit 4 was later joined by Russ Ballard on guitar and Robert 'Bob' Henrit on drums (forming the + 2) for a six piece, four-part vocal harmony group. Moeller was lead singer and frontman, from the first show as the Unit 4 vocal group to the last show as Unit 4 + 2 as vocal group with instruments. Due to ill-health and a dislike of performing live, Brian Parker left the band, but remained involved as co-songwriter with Tommy Moeller for all of the band's original recordings. His place at live performances was taken by Howard 'Lem' Lubin.
"Concrete and Clay" is a 1965 hit single recorded by the UK pop group Unit 4 + 2. It reached No. 1 in the UK Singles Chart in April 1965. The song was written by group members Tommy Moeller and Brian Parker.
Recorded with the help of session musicians and featuring ("+2") Russ Ballard and Bob Henrit, "Concrete and Clay" details the indestructible love of the singer and his lover:
"The sidewalks in the street, the concrete and the clay
Beneath my feet begins to crumble, but love will never die
Because we'll see the mountains tumble, before we say goodbye"
The arrangement has a pronounced Latin influence, using acoustic guitars and a baion beat. These distinctive elements helped boost "Concrete and Clay" to the No. 1 position on the UK Singles Chart in April 1965.
American record producer Bob Crewe, best known for his work with the Four Seasons, had heard the Unit 4 + 2 hit version of "Concrete and Clay" while on a trip to the UK. As a result, Crewe had a cover version of "Concrete and Clay" cut by Eddie Rambeau, a staff writer at Crewe's music publishing firm, which was the inaugural release for Crewe's own DynoVoice Records. Although the Rambeau version's release pre-dated the US release of the Unit 4 + 2 version by one week, both singles debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 dated 8 May 1965; Unit 4 + 2 at No. 96 and Rambeau at No. 98, with both singles making a similar chart ascent over the next four weeks. The original eventually peaked at No. 28 while Rambeau's version reached No. 35.

"I Will" is a song by the Beatles that was released on The Beatles. It was written by Paul McCartney (credited to Lennon–McCartney) and features him on lead vocal, guitar, and "vocal bass".
"I Will" was one of the songs worked on by the Beatles and their associates while in Rishikesh, India. Although the music came together fairly easily, the words were worked on in India, and remained unfinished even as recording began back in London.
This quiet song required 67 takes, and George Harrison did not play (during The Beatles sessions, the Beatles often recorded in separate studios). However, the reason for Harrison's absence from the session has never been clarified.
During take 19 of "I Will", McCartney ad-libbed an untitled and uncopyrighted song (referred to as "Can you take me back?" by author Ian MacDonald), a 28-second segment of which ended up on side 4 of the album The Beatles as what MacDonald described as “a sinister introduction to "Revolution 9"”. Also ad-libbed by McCartney was "Los Paranoias", released, together with take 1 of "I Will", in 1996 on Anthology 3.
London. The fantastic "Concrete and Clay" is performed by the Unit Four Plus Two on the site of the Barbican which is under construction. Pathe Pictorial use the setting as a literal interpretation of the song - concrete and clay - get it? In a follow on from the previous story a transistor radio is balanced on an oil drum to suggest that the workmen can hear this song on Radio Caroline. In this precursor to the pop video there are C/Us of the band members as they walk like wandering minstrels over the scaffolding and play their guitars amongst the sand and rubble. Good shots of the band as they play and enjoy themselves immensely. What a fantastic song! The soundtrack has sound effects of building work laid over the top. Ends with a pull back shot showing the band in the middl...

Ad Lib Club, London. The Unit Four Plus Two perform their hit song "Never Been in Love Like This Before" in a nightclub setting. Good C/Us of the boys as they perform. C/U of one of the band's guitars - it is a Burns guitar of course (see story called "Guitar Factory" which precedes this on CP 539). Not as good as "Concrete and Clay" but what could be? There are no shots of audience for the performance - if there was one. Cuts exist for this story - see other record. FILM ID:315.11 A VIDEO FROM BRITISH PATHÉ.
