HM King Abdullah II Message to the Students of Virginia Tech
His Majesty King Abdullah II Message to the Students of Virginia Tech Video: Prof Boyer & class request King Abdullah II of Jordan to visit http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2a6VMNp5hug His Majesty King Abdullah II: "Professor Boyer, students of Virginian Tech: thank you very much for your warm and very enthusiastic invitation to come and visit you. Unfortunately, I think, one of us had been beaten by the snow storm. And actually, here in Washington DC, we cannot make it out to meet you this afternoon. I am very sorry; I would have been delighted to have had the opportunity to be with you. Geography has always been a something that is very close to my heart. I started a military career as a very young man. And I also had the opportunity to travel with His Majesty the late King Hussein to many distant places; and I was always enamored with the different cultures and different sites and sounds and smells of different places through my travels. But, the one thing that I will always take away from that, at the end of the day, with all the difficulties that faces so many different countries, people are the same in the world all over and people are good. And the other thing that geography told me is how interconnected everything is, and unfortunately that was one of the things, I kind of, wanted to talk to you about. Obviously, the major challenges that we have in our part of the world do affect US policy, and US policy does affect the rest of the world. Unfortunately, we have not had the opportunity to be able to discuss these issues, but definitely Professor Boyer next time I am in the States, I will make it a priority to drop by Virginia Tech and hopefully have an opportunity to meet with you and meet with your students. I would also like to reach out to our Jordanian students there at Virginia Tech and give them a warm and proud Marhaba مرحبا and to say how proud we all are back at Jordan. And Professor, for you and for your class: We would love to extend a warm hospitality to you and your students in Jordan, so you can meet the bright and young Jordanian minds that we have in our country, so we can build those bridges of understanding and friendship. So, if there is anything we can do in the future; please do get in touch with us. You have made an impact with your appeal, and I do hope that our paths cross in the near future. So, please stay warm; stay safe; and I hope that we will be together soon. Thank you very much."- published: 14 Feb 2014

Rohingyalish Translation ( Surah Al-Masadd ) Anam
( 6 Hadith found in 'Revelation' of Sahih Bukhari. )
English
1, Narrated 'Umar bin Al-Khattab: I heard Allah's Apostle saying, "The reward of deeds depends upon the intentions and every person will get the reward according to what he has intended. So whoever emigrated for worldly benefits or for a woman to marry, his emigration was for what he emigrated for."
2, Narrated 'Aisha: (the mother of the faithful believers) Al-Harith bin Hisham asked Allah's Apostle "O Allah's Apostle! How is the Divine Inspiration revealed to you?" Allah's Apostle replied, "Sometimes it is (revealed) like the ringing of a bell, this form of Inspiration is the hardest of all and then this state passes ' off after I have grasped what is inspired. Sometimes the Angel comes in the form of a man and talks to me and I grasp whatever he says." 'Aisha added: Verily I saw the Prophet being inspired Divinely on a very cold day and noticed the Sweat dropping from his forehead (as the Inspiration was over).
3' Narrated 'Aisha: (the mother of the faithful believers) The commencement of the Divine Inspiration to Allah's Apostle was in the form of good dreams which came true like bright day light, and then the love of seclusion was bestowed upon him. He used to go in seclusion in the cave of Hira where he used to worship (Allah alone) continuously for many days before his desire to see his family. He used to take with him the journey food for the stay and then come back to (his wife) Khadija to take his food like-wise again till suddenly the Truth descended upon him while he was in the cave of Hira. The angel came to him and asked him to read. The Prophet replied, "I do not know how to read. The Prophet added, "The angel caught me (forcefully) and pressed me so hard that I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read and I replied,
'I do not know how to read.' Thereupon he caught me again and pressed me a second time till I could not bear it any more. He then released me and again asked me to read but again I replied, 'I do not know how to read (or what shall I read)?' Thereupon he caught me for the third time and pressed me, and then released me and said, 'Read in the name of your Lord, who has created (all that exists) has created man from a clot. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous." (96.1, 96.2, 96.3) Then Allah's Apostle returned with the Inspiration and with his heart beating severely. Then he went to Khadija bint Khuwailid and said, "Cover me! Cover me!" They covered him till his fear was over and after that he told her everything that had happened and said, "I fear that something may happen to me." Khadija replied, "Never! By Allah, Allah will never disgrace you.
You keep good relations with your Kith and kin, help the poor and the destitute, serve your guests generously and assist the deserving calamity-afflicted ones." Khadija then accompanied him to her cousin Waraqa bin Naufal bin Asad bin 'Abdul 'Uzza, who, during the PreIslamic Period became a Christian and used to write the writing with Hebrew letters. He would write from the Gospel in Hebrew as much as Allah wished him to write. He was an old man and had lost his eyesight. Khadija said to Waraqa, "Listen to the story of your nephew, O my cousin!" Waraqa asked, "O my nephew! What have you seen?" Allah's Apostle described whatever he had seen. Waraqa said, "This is the same one who keeps the secrets (angel Gabriel) whom Allah had sent to Moses. I wish I were young and could live up to the time when your people would turn you out." Allah's Apostle asked, "Will they drive me out?" Waraqa replied in the affirmative and said, "Anyone (man) who came with something similar to what you have brought was treated with hostility;
and if I should remain alive till the day when you will be turned out then I would support you strongly." But after a few days Waraqa died and the Divine Inspiration was also paused for a while. Narrated Jabir bin 'Abdullah Al-Ansari while talking about the period of pause in revelation reporting the speech of the Prophet "While I was walking, all of a sudden I heard a voice from the sky. I looked up and saw the same angel who had visited me at the cave of Hira' sitting on a chair between the sky and the earth. I got afraid of him and came back home and said, 'Wrap me (in blankets).' And then Allah revealed the following Holy Verses (of Quran): 'O you (i.e. Muhammad)! wrapped up in garments!' Arise and warn (the people against Allah's Punishment),... up to 'and desert the idols.' (74.1-5) After this the revelation started coming strongly, frequently and regularly."
4, Narrated Said bin Jubair: Ibn 'Abbas in the explanation of the Statement of Allah. 'Move not your tongue concerning (the Quran) to make haste therewith." (75.16) Said "Allah's Apostle used to bear the revelation with great trouble and used to move his lips (quickly) with the Inspiration." Ibn 'Abbas moved his lips saying, "I

2013 Qatar International Rally. Verifications.
The brand new Al-Shabhana desert special stage to the west of Doha will get proceedings underway in the 2013 Qatar International Rally on Friday morning.
The opening round of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship (MERC) has strength in depth and top seed Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah will lead 17 other entrants into two days of rallying action in the stony Qatar deserts. A nine-time winner of his home event, Al-Attiyah will be chasing his 46th individual MERC event victory.
“I have won this rally nine times and each year I probably only win two or three stages only,” said Al-Attiyah. “That is the nature of this rally. It is very difficult and the fact that we have so many strong cars and fast drivers will make it even closer.”
This year’s regional series will be fought out over further rallies in Kuwait, Jordan, Lebanon, Cyprus and Dubai and the FIA have introduced new class categories for young drivers, Group N ‘showroom type’ cars and two-wheel drive machines, although seven RRCs (Regional Rally Cars) are being driven by the top seeds in Qatar.
“On behalf of the QMMF I welcome everyone to Qatar for the start of another season of rallying,” said Qatar Motor & Motorcycle Federation president Nasser Khalifa Al-Attiyah. “We have new stages, one of the strongest entries in terms of the quality of the cars and the performances of the drivers and I am sure it is going to be a fantastic start to the new rallying calendar.”
UAE co-driver Khaled Al-Kendi has one of the busiest programmes of anyone in international rallying this season. Fresh from finishing 31st overall with Abdullah Al-Heraiz with a Toyota in the Dakar Rally, Al-Kendi is teaming up with Qatar’s Abdullah Al-Kuwari this weekend in a Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution before embarking on a hectic season of rallying.
“Dakar was fantastic,” said Al-Kendi. “Maybe a little easier than last year but we managed to reach the finish. Now we have the MERC and I am looking forward to teaming up with Abdullah this weekend. We will also race together in the national rallies in Qatar.
“I will also work with Abu Dhabi Racing in Sweden and then I have a programme of WRC events with Rashid (Al-Ketbi) in WRC2 with the Skoda and the cross-country rallies with Yayha (Al-Helai). Abdullah Al-Heraiz and I are also looking ahead to the Dakar again in 2013 and maybe some testing in France and a rally later in the year in Morocco. It’s a busy year, for sure.”
A selection of the leading drivers on the entry list joined QMMF president Nasser Khalifa Al-Attiyah, QMMF general secretary Mohammed Saad Al-Muraiki and visiting FIA vice-president Mohammed Ben Sulayem at the official pre-event press conference on Thursday afternoon.
Several regional and local television networks are filming the event and international media are distributing news and images around the globe to as far afield as Argentina, Europe and Australia.
The sophisticated tracking system implemented by the Middle East’s regional rally series has completely eliminated any of the route violations that plagued the championship for many years. Drivers need to adhere to the desert route exactly or face on the spot time penalties. “It really is a level playing field out there now and fair for everyone,” said a leading European co-driver.
Tomorrow (Friday) is the first leg of the rally and competitors will tackle six special stages to the northwest of Doha. “These are completely new stages that we have found for this rally,” confirmed clerk of the course Elie Semaan.
“There has been some major development work to the south of the city and we would have lost one of our stages from 2012, so we have found these new areas. The rally did run close to part of this region many years ago, but these stages are new to the rally.”
Action gets underway with the first of two runs through the 21.81km Al-Shabhana stage at 09.33hrs and this is followed by Umm Wishah at 10.01hrs and Al-Karaana at 11.09hrs. Cars then return to a new service and regroup at Qatar Aqua Park from 12.09hrs and the three special stages are repeated at 13.42hrs, 14.10hrs and 15.18hrs.
The 2013 Qatar International Rally finishes outside the QMMF at 15.30hrs on Saturday afternoon after a total of 12 timed desert special stages and 264km of action.

2013 Qatar International Rally. DAY 1
Nasser Saleh Al-Attiyah and Italian co-driver Giovanni Bernacchini led a nail-biting 2013 Qatar International Rally, the opening round of the FIA Middle East Rally Championship, by just 4.8 seconds after six new timed special stages to the west of Doha on Friday.
Driving a Ford Fiesta RRC, the Qatari had been involved in a frantic tussle with Abu Dhabi's Sheikh Khalid Al-Qassimi (Citroën DS3) and British navigator Scott Martin over the rocky desert stages and mere seconds had separated the pair all day. The defending regional champion, who is bidding for his 10th Qatar Rally win, eventually finished the day with three stage wins and a tiny overnight lead.
"Today was not a day to push too much," said Al-Attiyah. "The new stages here were very hard on the cars. Tomorrow they are smoother and we can go faster. But it is not easy."
Saudi Arabia's Yazeed Al-Rajhi made his traditional flying start, but a little over exuberance on the crucial third stage cost him the lead and his place in the rally. Al-Qassimi and Al-Attiyah took up the fight thereafter, with Qatar's Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari and Khalid Al-Suwaidi trailing in their wake in a pair of Ford Fiestas.
The Qatari duo reached the overnight halt in third and fourth places. Sheikh Abdullah Al-Qassimi held fifth after Jordan's Alaa Rasheed was forced out in the fifth stage.
Rookie Emirati Mohamed Al-Mutawaa led the new two-wheel drive category in his R3 Citroën DS3 and Qatar's Abdullah Al-Kuwari held the initiative at halfway in the hotly contested Group N section with his Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X.
Young Abu Dhabi junior driver Mohamed Al-Sahlawi ran out of spare tyres on his debut and was forced into SupeRally on Saturday, as puncture-related incidents decimated the original 18-car field. Only 11 cars reached the finish.
Day 1 – as it happened
Al-Attiyah led 17 rivals into the new 21.81km Al-Shabhana stage for the first time. Tactics would come into play from the outset and all eyes were on whether the Qatari and his closest rivals would push hard to try and take the early advantage.
The nine-time rally winner set the target time of 10min 48.1sec and edged into a 5.5-second advantage over Al-Rajhi, with Khaled Al-Qassimi a close third. Al-Rajhi caught the dust of Sheikh Abdullah Al-Qassimi and was granted a three-minute starting gap for the second special, despite puncturing two tyres. It was proof he had been at 'full attack'.
Al-Kuwari and Al-Suwaidi were fourth and fifth, but Kuwait's Meshari Al-Thefiri dropped six minutes to the leaders and Jordan's Zaid Dahshan retired with fuel pump issues at the end of the stage.
The 24km of the new Umm Wishah stage followed and Al-Attiyah reached the flying finish in 11min 58.1sec, but he was pegged back by a flying Al-Qassimi in the works Citroën. Al-Rajhi was even quicker and a stunning time by the Saudi pushed him into the overall lead. Turkey's Burcu Cetinkaya crashed her Mitsubishi and managed to continue, but rear axle problems accounted for Edith Weiss.
Crews had feared the outcome of the third 25km Al-Karaana stage after the recce. The last few kilometres were particularly rocky and no-one intended to risk their cars on this section.
The special came back to bite Al-Rajhi: he damaged a wheel and the front suspension in the stage and was forced out of the running, as Al-Qassimi maybe took one too many risks himself and escaped with a midday lead of 4.3 seconds over a more cautious Al-Attiyah.
Al-Suwaidi completed SS3 with a broken drive shaft sustained at the end of stage two and punctures were commonplace, with Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari destroying the right-hand rear of his car after a tyre disintegrated and Alaa Rasheed damaging several tyres."It was just not worth pushing hard in there," said Al-Attiyah. "Yazeed had his problem, Khalid damaged the front of his car, it was a matter of getting through safely."
Cetinkaya pulled out at the service point: "I rolled one time and landed on the side of the car in the second stage and carried on but I should have stopped there and gone for SupeRally," said Cetinkaya. "Instead I did another stage and had more problems with tyres and lost more time."
