Now a successful partner on Wall Street, Darryl (Marlon Wayans) offers to move his mom to a deluxe apartment on the East Side.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Penelope Spheeris directed this Marlon Wayans comedy, scripted by the Rocket Man team of Greg Erb and Craig Mazin. Saddled with several on and off-campus jobs, hard-working college student Darryl Witherspoon (Marlon Wayans) is aiming for a position with the Smythe-Bates brokerage firm, but twit Scott Thorpe has the right resumé and connections. A frat failure, Darryl also doesn't score at ice hockey. For extra cash, Darryl becomes a test subject for an experimental drug that heightens the senses by five times. The initial effect is a rectal irritation, but then Darryl finds his enhanced hearing enables him to pick up distant conversations, and his upgraded coordination improves his hockey game. However, an overdose literally leaves Darryl senseless, as he discovers only four of his five senses operative at any given time.

Brenden Jefferson
Brenden Richard Jefferson (born June 3, 1986) is an American film and television actor and songwriter. Since 2009, he has been a nurse.
Life and career
Born in San Bernardino, California, Jefferson is an only child.
He has made various appearances in TV shows including The Parent 'Hood, The Steve Harvey Show, Even Stevens, Smart Guy, and the short-lived sitcom Thea, and is most notable for his role as Rex "X-Ray" Washburn in the 2003 Disney film, Holes. His most recent appearance was in the 2004 television movie Redemption: The Stanley Tookie Williams Story.

CLIP DESCRIPTION:
Now a successful partner on Wall Street, Darryl (Marlon Wayans) offers to move his mom to a deluxe apartment on the East Side.
FILM DESCRIPTION:
Penelope Spheeris directed this Marlon Wayans comedy, scripted by the Rocket Man team of Greg Erb and Craig Mazin. Saddled with several on and off-campus jobs, hard-working college student Darryl Witherspoon (Marlon Wayans) is aiming for a position with the Smythe-Bates brokerage firm, but twit Scott Thorpe has the right resumé and connections. A frat failure, Darryl also doesn't score at ice hockey. For extra cash, Darryl becomes a test subject for an experimental drug that heightens the senses by five times. The initial effect is a rectal irritation, but then Darryl finds his enhanced hearing enables him to pick up distant conversations, and his upgraded coordination improves his hockey game. However, an overdose literally leaves Darryl senseless, as he discovers only four of his five senses operative at any given time.

Father, tomato farmer, historian, husband and friend he cut through the nonsense of the world with brilliant insight, humor and canny common sense.
Brendan loved his country, his town, his neighborhood and his family His country will remember him for 30 years of service in the US Army Medical Service Corp earning a Bronze Star and Vietnam Service Medals. His neighborhood and town will remember him for his passion for history and untiring commitment to the Dennis Historical Society, Jacob Sears Library and the Quivet Neck Homeowners’ Association as well as his hospitality and support of local civic causes. His family will remember him for his intelligence, his love of opera, wine and cooking, his gardens and his wit.
Brendan, a biochemist, received a BS from Manhattan College, a MS from Virginia Poly Tech, and a PhD from the University of California, San Francisco. He was the grand host of many feasts and lively debates and we are thankful for being the recipients of his generosity, his handiness and knowledge. He is survived by his wife, Maureen A. (Duffly) Joyce and his daughter Kathleen Joyce. The Last Chance Stand has closed but we will always remember that “Nothing beats a peach on the beach, except maybe two.”

This week, we’re joined by LA-based singer/songwriter Molly Moore. Molly has been building a name for herself on Soundcloud with her brand of intelligent pop. Her singles “Don’t Believe It” and “Natural Disaster” have been played thousands of times, and have solidified her as an artist to watch. Molly recently signed a publishing deal with Imagem, and we talk about building an audience on Soundcloud, what a publishing deal can do for an artist, and more.

Stephen Colbert took over as host of The Late Show on Tuesday, Sept. 8, 2015. Colbert is best known for his work as a television host, writer, actor, and producer, and best known for his charity work teaching English as a second language on Tunisian date farms. Prior to joining the CBS family -- and being officially adopted by network president Les Moonves -- Colbert helmed “The Colbert Report,” which aired nearly 1,500 episodes and required Stephen to wear nearly 1,500 different neckties. The program received two Peabody Awards, two Grammy Awards, and several unwelcome shoulder massages. It won two Emmys for Outstanding Variety Series in 2013 and 2014, both of which appear to have been lost in the move. Colbert is pronounced koʊlˈbɛər, according to Wikipedia. His understudy is William Cavanaugh, who will be hosting The Late Show approximately one third of the time. Good luck, Bill!"
