She attended The University of Texas at Austin and took summer classes at New York University. She was a legacy member of Kappa Alpha Theta, both her mother's and twin sister's sorority. While there, Jenna and her sister Barbara made national headlines when they were both arrested for alcohol related charges twice within 5 weeks: on April 29, 2001, Jenna was charged with a misdemeanor for possession of alcohol under the age 21 in Austin. On May 29, 2001, Jenna was charged with another misdemeanor — attempting to use a fake ID (with the name Barbara Pierce, her paternal grandmother's maiden name) to purchase alcohol. She pleaded no contest to both charges. Jenna Bush graduated from the University of Texas with a degree in English in 2004.

YOU OUGHTA HEAR ME CRY
As recorded by: Carl Smith
Writer: Willie Nelson
If you think I laugh louder
Than anyone here
If you think that my volume's too high
If you think I laugh louder
You ain't heard nothin' yet
You Ought-a Hear Me Cry.
If you think I talk louder
Than maybe I should
Well I guess I'm just that kind of guy
But if I talk loud and laugh loud
You ain't heard it all
You Ought-a Hear Me Cry.
I go home to a home
Where love's almost gone
Not enough to fill one needle's eye
Then I sit down in the corner
And I turn on the [G] tears
You Ought-a Hear Me Cry.
If you can't say you love me say you hate me
And that you regret each time you held me tight
If you can't be mine forever then forsake me
If you can't undo the wrong
Undo the right
It was right when you loved me only
But wrong when you held another tight
So before you go away and leave me lonely
If you can't undo the wrong
Undo the right
It's too late to say your heart is filled with sorrow
You can't undo what's done
Why do you try
So please so I can face the new tomorrow
If you can't undo the wrong
Undo the right
It's too late to say your heart is filled with sorrow
You can't undo what's done
Why do you try
So please so I can face the new tomorrow
If you can't undo the wrong
Undo the right
If you can't undo the wrong
One fool on a stool is what I heard the bartender say.
I never thought my own life would ever turn out this
way.....
Green snakes on the ceiling, Walking walls I can see.
One fool on a stool and on this stool sits this fool me.
One fool on a stool, one drink to a hand.
No thread for your needle, no ma’am I ain’t seen your
man.
Anything you want to tell me, I got no time for.
Just order your drink, I’ll make room for more.
One fool on a stool is what I heard the bartender say.
I never thought my own life would ever turn out this
way.....
Green snakes on the ceiling, Walking walls I can see.
One fool on a stool and on this stool sits this fool me.
One fool to a stool is what I heard the bartender say.
I never thought my own life would ever turn out this
way.....
Green snakes on the ceiling, Walking walls I can see.
One fool to a stool and on this stool sits this fool me.
