George Musarurwa Gregan AM (born 19 April 1973 in Lusaka, Zambia) is an Australian rugby union halfback who has made more appearances for his national team than any other player in the sport's history.

Gregan played Super 12 (now Super Rugby) for the Brumbies from the inception of that competition in 1996 through 2007, helping to lead them to overall victories in 2001 and 2004. He is a foundation Brumbies player and one of the few players whose career spans both the amateur and professional eras.^{[clarification needed]} His appearances as Australian captain include a Bledisloe Cup win in 2002 and an extra-time loss to England in the 2003 Rugby World Cup final. As a member of the Wallabies team, Gregan has attained the zenith of the rugby world, winning the Rugby World Cup in 1999. Gregan and his longtime Wallabies teammate, fly-half Stephen Larkham, also hold the all-time record for Test appearances by a halfback partnership with 79.

On 18 June 2008 it was announced that he had joined Suntory Sungoliath in Japan. following a season at RC Toulonnais in the French Top 14.

Daniel William "Dan" Carter (born (1982-03-05)5 March 1982) is a New Zealand rugby union player.

He is currently the highest points scorer in test match rugby and is regarded as one of rugby's greatest ever fly-halves.

Carter was born on 5 March 1982 in Southbridge, a small town in the South Island of New Zealand, to Neville and Bev Carter, and has one older sister, Sarah. From the age of 5, he played with Southbridge Rugby Club as a scrum half. He attended Ellesmere College and Christchurch Boys High School, and has said he was a shy and quiet young man who kept grand aspirations to himself. His great uncle was Canterbury and New Zealand half back Bill Dalley, a member of the 1924–25 Invincibles and later a Canterbury rugby administrator.

Iain Robert Balshaw, MBE (born 14 April 1979 in Blackburn, England) is a rugby footballer who plays on the wing or at full back for Biarritz.

Balshaw was educated at the Jesuit Stonyhurst College, at junior level he played for Preston Grasshoppers and joined Bath as a teenager in 1997. He made his senior debut in 1998, scoring thirteen tries in his first season.

Balshaw burst on to the international scene in 2000, when he was heralded as one of England’s most exciting young talents. He was picked on the replacements’ bench for every one of that year’s internationals. He won his first cap for England in 2000 at the inaugural Six Nations Championship match against Ireland, coming on as a substitute. In November 2000, he came on late in the England-Australia autumn International at Twickenham to give Dan Luger a last minute winning try, starting calls for his inclusion in the England starting line-up.

In the following 2001 Six Nations he finally made the starting line-up for England at full back and stunned the Welsh in the opening game at the Millennium Stadium; England winning 44–15. He toured Australia with the British and Irish Lions in June 2001, but suffered from a lack of form and did not start in the Test matches.

Richard Kahui (born 9 June 1985 in Tokoroa, New Zealand) is a New Zealand rugby union footballer.

Kahui plays in the position of Centre. He plays for Waikato in the Air New Zealand Cup and made his Super Rugby debut in 2006 with the Highlanders. Kahui was the top try scorer of the 2006 Air New Zealand Cup. In the 2007 Super 14 he was injured for a majority of the season, while playing for the Chiefs. In 2006 he was named the 'Air New Zealand Cup Player of the Year'.

In 2008 Kahui was also named as a member of the New Zealand All Blacks squad for the in-bound tours to New Zealand. He made his All Blacks debut on 21 June 2008, starting at outside centre (13), and scored a try in New Zealand's 44–12 victory over England. He has shown his versatility by playing on the wing (14) in the All Blacks 2009 Bledisloe Cup victory over Australia. Unfortunately, a six month shoulder injury he incurred at the end of his 2009 Super 14 season with the Chiefs, prevented him from playing in the All Black side later in the year.

Justin Warren Marshall, MNZM (born 5 August 1973) is a New Zealand rugby union footballer. He was born in Mataura and educated in Gore before settling in Christchurch. Marshall played 81 games for the New Zealand All Blacks between 1995 and 2005. He is now a Sky Sports commentator in New Zealand for most All Blacks games and other provincial level matches.

Marshall began his rugby union career with Southland and was then asked to join Christchurch by Canterbury coach Vance Stewart. It was whilst here that Marshall first made the break into the All Blacks side for the 1995 tour of Italy and France. Marshall was just 22 when he made his début against France in a 37–12 win.

In 1997 Marshall was made captain of New Zealand and led out his team in four tests in Great Britain, becoming the All Blacks' 54th Test Captain. In moving to Europe, Marshall retired from international rugby with the All Blacks in 2005. He made 81 appearances for the All Blacks, with a record of 61 wins, 1 draw and just 19 defeats. Marshall is the highest capped scrum half in All Blacks history. He has scored a record 24 Test tries for New Zealand, a tally that more than doubles the next best for an All Blacks scrum half, held by Sid Going.
