Wanker is a pejorative term of English origin, common in Commonwealth and ex-Commonwealth countries, including Britain, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. It initially referred to an onanist but has since become a general insult. It is synonymous with tosser.

The term wanker originated from British slang in the 1940s.Wanker literally means "one who wanks (masturbates)". In modern usage it is usually a general insult. It conveys contempt, not commentary on sexual habits. Wanker has similar meanings and overtones to American pejoratives like jerk(-off). It is sometimes found in the phrase intellectual wanker, alluding to an individual who appears to indulge in obscurantist language and sophistry with the principal aim of promoting his own self-perceived intelligence (or concealing his intellectual weakness). More generally, wanker can carry suggestions of egotistical and self-indulgent behaviour (analogous to American douche(bag)): this is the dominant meaning in Australia and New Zealand.

Angry Kid is the main character of a series of British stop motion animation short films, voiced by Darren Walsh. The show was created, directed, written, and designed by Darren Walsh and produced by Aardman Animations. Most of the episodes contain adult content.

Unlike most Aardman productions, Angry Kid was not created using clay animation but a combination of pixilation (using masks for facial expressions) and stop motion puppetry.

Seasons 1 and 2 have been released on DVD in the UK and Australia. All the Angry Kid animations are free to watch and / or download on Atom.com. A compilation DVD called Aardman's Dark Side was also released, and it contains several Season 2 episodes and an exclusive episode.

Angry Kid's sitting in the back of his dad's car. He's holding a chocolate bar and a can of Coke, and he has chocolate around his mouth. To annoy his dad, he keeps pretending he's gonna "jub up" (be sick), which makes Dad furious. Angry Kid turns out to have actually vomited, but he swallows it.

Club Veg (formerly called "The Morning After Show" on Triple J) was a popular Australian radio show and comedic partnership consisting of Mal Lees and Vic Davies (1954 - 2009) on Triple M.

The partnership started when Mal (then the Afternoon Announcer/Music Director) & Vic (Copywriter) met at 2KA in Penrith. Both were big fans of the Beatles, Monty Python and thinking outside the box - and being told off for it.

They later worked at 2WS writing and producing comedy for Mad Mel but realised by the third day in, that they had a great comedy partnership and they could write better for themselves than for anyone else. Armed with some of those tapes from WS, Mal called Marius Webb at Triple J and introduced him to (what was at the time) a new form of radio comedy. It resulted in them being hired on the spot.

Whilst at Triple J, the boys hosted a theme night at the Tivoli in George Street, Sydney and because their listeners had a habit of referring to them as 'The Vegies' (due to their veg'd-out presenting style) it seemed only appropriate that they call the night at the Tivoli "Club Veg". When their Saturday breakfast show was moved to Drive, "The Morning After Show" name no longer fit and since their listeners were still referring to them as 'Vegies' it seemed an obvious choice to change the name to Club Veg.

Michael Daniel Higgins (Irish: Mícheál D. Ó hUiginn; born 18 April 1941) is the ninth and current President of Ireland, having taken office on 11 November 2011 following victory in the 2011 Irish presidential election. Higgins is an Irish politician, poet, sociologist, author and broadcaster. Higgins was President of the Labour Party until his resignation following the presidential election. He was formerly a Teachta Dála (TD) for the Galway West constituency and served as Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht from 1993 to 1997.

Higgins was born in Limerick. When his father's health grew poor, with alcohol a contributing factor, his mother sent Higgins, aged five, and his four-year-old brother to live on his unmarried uncle and aunt's farm near Newmarket on Fergus, County Clare. His older twin sisters remained in Limerick. He was educated at Ballycar National School, County Clare; St. Flannan's College, Ennis; University College Galway (UCG); Indiana University; and Manchester University. As an undergraduate at UCG, he served as Vice Auditor of the College's Literary and Debating Society in 1963–1964, and rose to the position of Auditor in the 1964–1965 academic year. He also served as President of UCG Students' Union in 1964–65.

Miranda May Kerr (born 20 April 1983) is an Australian model. Kerr rose to prominence in 2007 as one of the Victoria's Secret Angels. She is the first Australian to participate in the Victoria's Secret campaign and also represents Australian fashion chain David Jones.

Kerr began modeling in the fashion industry when she was 13, starting at Chaay's Modelling Agency, and soon after winning a 1997 Australian nationwide model search hosted by Dolly magazine and Impulse fragrances. She is married to English actor Orlando Bloom.

Kerr was born in Sydney and raised in the small town of Gunnedah, New South Wales. She is the daughter of Therese and John Kerr. She has a brother, Matthew, who is two years younger. In an interview, Kerr stated she is of English, French, and Scottish descent. During her childhood, Kerr "raced motorbikes and rode horses on her grandmother's farm." She describes her early life in the Australian countryside as "very grounding ... there wasn't any pretentiousness and no one really cared what you were wearing. You could just be you."
