A rough 'contracted' take ..but I wanted to post something for tomorrow's Armistice/ Veteran's Day. Nov 6th 2013 .. the night YouTube died .. (My rant about google): Not sure when I will get things figured out here. When linked to g+ I can't access my channel ..all my videos ended up on my back-up channel whose contents had vanished somewhere into cyber-space. so I had to disconnect (14 days to do so) to restore everything. I am thoroughly confused!! If I delete one channel, which one am I deleting? .. does the gmail acct get deleted too? All this inter-linking is too crazy! Besides all that, I do not want to share with g+ as I already get endless spam/ads via google. This change can't possibly be about YT comments/spam/trolls as google announced. I find it ironic that google paid 100 million to 100 celebrities and corporations to pollute YT with pop culture and intrusive ads, then expect immature people to clean up their language. I will continue to post here as well as on 'theTrendo', a fledgling one-month old site which I think may have potential.. there are a few other YTubers there too. I still watch your videos (don't receive all) but can't comment. It's such a pity that google has slowly demolished YouTube. One has to wonder what's next. Google claims this move to be a success as 80% of YTubers made the change before Nov 6th, but how many 'agreed' due to exasperation or trickery? Google 'decides' which ones are spam - I must join g+ in order to see it. I've never rcv'd real spam on any videos before, so it's probably a comment forever lost (or maybe it's spam via g+). BTW you can click on 'Top Comments' box to restore proper order. I prefer to read them as they arrive instead of having an algorithm choose which ones fall to the bottom of the list.
