As expected by many, the votes which were taken in the lower house and the Senate were each won by a comfortable majority on Wednesday. Although Letta's centre-left Democratic Party is in the minority in the senate, he obtained the vote of the New Centre Right Party, formed by dissident 'Berlusconians' and led by Minister of the Interior Angelino Alfano. Some small centrist groups also supported the Prime Minister. Protesters gathered outside parliament, demanding the chance to vote in a general election. "This country has been on its knees for years," said one protester. "We know what they've done, now let the people have the power and let's go straight to elections. It is the only solution to everything. Let's go to the polls and let the Italians decide what they want." Our movie describes a young new couple, arriving to their new and modest house, whose construction is still in progress. The house resides in the center of a secluded forest.
During the movie the hero notices a high structure in the forest, towering above all the
trees, and desires to make his house even taller.
The hero abandons the task of ending the construction of the roof of his house, and instead puts all his energy and time to the task of constructing more and more levels to it.
Meanwhile, the hero's relationship with his family gradually degrades, reaching a point where the only way of communication between then is through the hole in the ceiling of the house. While the family spends it's days on the lower level of the house, the hero stays on the upper levels, busily attending his construction work up to the point where he is abandoned by his family and left alone.
Technique: Classic Animation and Stop Motion Animation.

Invalides is a station of the Paris Métro and RER, located near and named after Les Invalides. The Palais Bourbon, seat of the French National Assembly (the lower house of the French Parliament) is nearby. This was shot on a cloudy afternoon near one of the exits to the station.

In the lower part of the house, an old wine cellar was converted into a reception room, which is now used for weddings and other festivities. We decided to illustrate this festive side with an installation organized around an object known to all : a bubble blower.
Probably Most of people have one day played to blow soap bubbles. It is a simple, intuitive game with a magical side. By the simple act of blowing through a ring, the soap becomes a bubble, which then rises with lightness and fragility in the air. Leaving us in the expectation of its future explosion.
This interactive installation, invites the viewer to come and blow into the blower in a way to create bubbles. However, instead of soap bubbles, the bubbles appear in the form of shadows projected on the wall. The enchanting side of this installation comes from the fact that it plays with the wonders and surprises of the bubbles, which explode and, at times, change in animations.

Brazils Lower House Approves Ban On Secret Voting
Brazils Lower House Approves Ban On Secret Voting
Brazil's Chamber of Deputies has approved a ban on secret voting in both houses of Congress. The measure, which will now have to be approved by the Senate, had been a key demand by protesters who took to the streets of major cities in June. They said they wanted more transparency to know where their parliamentary representatives stood on key decisions. The constitutional amendment was first proposed seven years ago but had been stalled in the lower house since then. But in a unanimous late-night vote on Tuesday, the 452 deputies present voted to abolish secret voting in both the Chamber of Deputies and the Senate. 'Credibility hit' The decision came just days after legislators voted - in a secret ballot - to allow Congressman Natan Donadon to continue in his post. Donadon is serving a 13-year prison sentence for corruption. He is the first serving Congressman to be sent to prison since Brazil returned to democracy in the 1980s. Congressional President Henrique Alves said the vote had been a blow for the credibility of Brazilian lawmakers. "I can say, without the shadow of a doubt, that I have never seen the credibility of this house take a worse hit than the one last week," he said. The case of Donadon and other lawmakers convicted of crimes but still serving in Congress was described as a slap in the face by protesters. Hundreds of thousands of people demonstrated in cities such as Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Salvador, demanding broad reforms to the education, health care and transport sectors, as well as an end to widespread corruption at all levels of the public sector. The ability of Congress to hold votes in secret was seen as one of the ways legislators accused of corruption could stay in power, as their colleagues closed ranks without having to face criticism from angry constituents. The measure will now go to the Senate, where some politicians have been critical of the move, arguing that it will make it harder for them to follow their conscience.- published: 04 Sep 2013
