Colin may refer to:

Colin Andrew Mochrie (/ˈmɒkri/; born November 30, 1957) is a Scottish Canadian actor and improvisational comedian, most famous for his appearances on the British and U.S. versions of television improvisation show Whose Line Is It Anyway?.

Colin Mochrie was born in Kilmarnock, Scotland, the oldest of three children. He was shy as a child, stating that neighbours would have commented that he "watched way too much television." In 1964, his family moved to a French neighbourhood just outside Montreal, Quebec, and five years later moved again to Vancouver, British Columbia. Mochrie attended Killarney Secondary School, where he was a self-proclaimed loner who wanted to become a marine biologist. He was persuaded by a friend to try out for a play entitled The Death and Life of Sneaky Fitch where Mochrie played the role of the undertaker. He was hooked when he got his first laugh, which paved the way for a career in entertainment. After graduating from high school, where he was valedictorian, Mochrie attended the Studio 58 theatre school in Vancouver for four years, where he discovered the art of improvisational comedy.

Colin Rand Kaepernick (born November 3, 1987) is an American football quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers of the National Football League. He was drafted in the 2nd round, 36th overall pick in the 2011 NFL Draft. He played college football at Nevada.

Kaepernick was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. An adopted child of Rick and Teresa Kaepernick, Kaepernick is of mixed European and African descent and the youngest of their three children. He lived in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin until age four and attended grade school in Turlock, California.

Kaepernick graduated from the University of Nevada Reno in December 2010 with a bachelors degree in business management and is a member of Kappa Alpha Psi fraternity. He is known to have high character and a relatively unassuming personality off the field, as evidenced by an incident that took place during the summer of 2010 interning at a University of Nevada-themed sports apparel shop in Reno. One woman came in and, completely unaware she was speaking to Kaepernick, asked him to find his jersey. A manager at the store would later recall, "Colin said, ‘I’m pretty sure it’s No. 10, and it’s right over here.’ He rang up her purchase and everything."

Colin Furze is a plumber, stuntman and filmmaker from Stamford, England. He is currently the Guinness World Record holder for the World's Largest Bonfire and World's Longest Motorbike.

On 13 March 2010, Furze uploaded a video to YouTube of his converted scooter. This had a flame thrower on the back which could shoot flames up to 15 ft in the air. On 25 March 2010, Furze was arrested by Lincolnshire Police, for possessing an object converted into a firearm, however, was released on bail without charge until 6 May 2010. This was Furze's third attempt, as the first did not ignite and the second burst into flames.

On 14 October 2010, it was announced that Furze had converted a mobility scooter which can reach 71 mph to try to enter the Guinness Book of Records. It took him nearly three months to build and has a 125cc motorcycle engine.

He appears as one of the experts on Gadget Geeks, the Sky1 series that focuses on technology and gadgets, that aired in January 2012.

Colin Steele McRae, MBE (5 August 1968 – 15 September 2007) was a Scottish rally driver born in Lanark.

The son of five-time British Rally Champion Jimmy McRae and brother of rally driver Alister McRae, Colin McRae was the 1991 and 1992 British Rally Champion and, in 1995, became the first British person and the youngest to win the World Rally Championship Drivers' title. He still holds that record.

McRae's outstanding performance on the Subaru World Rally Team enabled the team to win the World Rally Championship Constructors' title three times in succession in 1995, 1996 and 1997. After a four-year spell with the Ford Motor Co. team, which saw McRae win nine events, he moved to Citroën World Rally Team in 2003 where, despite not winning an event, he helped them win the first of their three consecutive manufacturers' titles. He was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire for services to motorsport in 1996.

McRae died in 2007 when the helicopter he was piloting crashed near his home. The accident also claimed the lives of his son and two family friends. In November 2008 he was posthumously inducted into the Scottish Sports Hall of Fame.
