Times Now is a 24-hour English news channel based in Mumbai and broadcasted in India, Singapore and USA. Arnab Goswami is the Editor-in Chief and Sunil Lulla is the current CEO. It was the first news channel in India to be launched on mobile screens (Reliance Infocomm Network). Some of the prominent journalists and anchors in the channel include Navika Kumar, Mahrukh Inayet Rizvi, Sanket Upadhyay, Srinjoy Chowdhury, Anand Narasimhan, Deep Pal and Tamanna Inamdar Dutta. The channel also has a Consultant cum Strategic Affairs Expert, Maroof Raza. He apart from his appearances on news debates, has anchored and presented a 20 part series on the Indian armed forces, titled ‘Line of Duty’. An episode from this series, on the Siachin Glacier won an Award in the military documentary section at the Film Festival in Rome in 2005. This tv series has entered the “Limca Book of Records” as India’s first military reality show.

The Channel was censured by the News Broadcasting Standards Authority by an order dated 19.10.11 for its telecast on May 20th, 2011 described as a debate show titled "Will Kanimozhi turn approver?" According to the Authority, "the debate on the issue and, especially the stress by the anchor, on a particular point of view was unwarranted and did not amount to neutral and balanced reporting of any Court proceedings". The Authority further observed that "the debate on the issue and. especially the manner in which it was conducted by the anchor (the Editor-in-Chief of the said channel), violated both the letter and the spirit of Guidelines 3 & 4 of the Specific Guidelines for reporting court proceedings.

Rahul Gandhi ([ˈraːɦʊl ˈɡaːnd̪ʱiː]; born 19 June 1970) is an Indian politician and member of the Parliament of India, representing the Amethi constituency. Gandhi is the general-secretary of the Indian National Congress. He is the grandson of Feroze Gandhi and Indira (née Nehru) Gandhi, and fourth-generation scion of the Nehru-Gandhi family.

Rahul Gandhi was born in Delhi on 19 June 1970 as the first of the two children of Rajiv Gandhi, who later became the Prime Minister of India and Sonia Gandhi, who later became President of Indian National Congress, and as the grandson of the then Prime Minister Indira Gandhi. He is also the great-grandson of India's first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru. Priyanka Vadra is his younger sister.

Rahul Gandhi attended St. Columba's School, Delhi before entering The Doon School in Dehradun (Uttarakhand), also his father's alma mater, from 1981–83. Meanwhile, his father had joined politics and became the Prime Minister on October 31, 1984 when Indira Gandhi was assassinated. Due to the security threats faced by Indira Gandhi's family from Sikh extremists, Rahul Gandhi and his sister, Priyanka were home-schooled since then. Rahul Gandhi joined St. Stephen's College, Delhi in 1989 for his undergraduate education but moved to Harvard University after he completed the first year examinations. In 1991, after Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated by LTTE during an election rally, he shifted to Rollins College due to security concerns and completed his B.A. in 1994. During this period, he assumed the pseudonym Raul Vinci and his identity was known only to the university officials and security agencies. He further went on to obtain a M.Phil from Trinity College, Cambridge University in 1995. After graduation, Rahul Gandhi worked at the Monitor Group, a management consulting firm, in London. In 2002 he was one of the directors of Mumbai-based technology outsourcing firm Backops Services Private Ltd.

Arnab Goswami (Assamese: অৰ্ণব গোস্বামী) is an Indian journalist who is the Editor in Chief and News anchor of the Indian news channel Times Now. He is an important contributor to the rise of the Times Now news channel since its launch in January 2006. His show The Newshour is aired at 9 pm (IST)on weekdays with live news coverage. Arnab Goswami also hosts a special television program Frankly Speaking with Arnab, which has featured eminent personalities. Arnab is a recipient of a number of awards for his journalistic abilities and has also written a book named Combating Terrorism: The Legal Challenge.

Arnab Goswami was born in Guwahati, Assam. He comes from a family of eminent jurists. His paternal grandfather, Rajani Kanta Goswami, was a well known lawyer, a Congress leader and a freedom fighter. His maternal grandfather, Gauri Sankar Bhattacharya, was a leader of the opposition in Assam for many years. He was a freedom fighter, an intellectual writer and a recipient of the Asom Sahitya Sabha Award. As an army officer's son, he attended schools in various cities. He passed his 10th Standard board examinations from Mount St. Mary's School in Delhi Cantonment, his 12th Standard board exams from Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jabalpur Cantonment. Arnab graduated in Sociology from Hindu College. He completed his Master's degree in Social Anthropology from Oxford University (St. Antony’s College, 1994) where he was a Felix Scholar. In 2000, he was a visiting fellow at the International Studies Department at Cambridge University (Sidney Sussex College) where he was a D C Pavate fellow.

Subramanian Swamy (born 15 September 1939 in Chennai, India sometimes spelt Subramaniam Swamy) is an Indian politician, academician and an economist. He is the President of the Janata Party of India. He also presently serves as chairman of the SCMS Board of Governors of the SCMS Group of Educational Institutions in Kerala.

Swamy has previously served as member of the Planning Commission of India and Cabinet Minister of India. He has written extensively on foreign affairs dealing largely with India-China, India-Pakistan and Indo-Israel relation and is also a published author.

In November 1978, Swamy was member of the Group of Eminent persons called to Geneva to prepare a report of the United Nations (UNCTAD) on Economic Co-operation between Developing countries (ECDC).Swamy simplified trade procedures and formulated a new export strategy which became the forerunner of trade reform adopted subsequently. In 1994, Swamy was appointed as Chairman of the Commission on Labour Standards and International Trade by then Prime Minister P. V. Narasimha Rao. This was perhaps for the first time that an Opposition Party member was given a Cabinet rank post by the ruling party.

Akbaruddin Owaisi (born 14 June 1971) is an Indian politician and a MLA. He belongs to All India Majlis-e Ittihad al-Muslimin and is its floor leader in Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly.

Akbaruddin Owaisi was born in Hyderabad to Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi on 14 June 1971. His elder brother is Asaduddin Owaisi, Member of Parliament representing Hyderabad constituency. Akbaruddin Owaisi discontinued his MBBS study midway to help his father, Late Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi retain the Chandrayangutta assembly constituency by winning the elections in 1999. Akbaruddin was first elected to the state Assembly in 1999 and served as a deputy to his elder brother Asaduddin Owaisi, who was leading the MIM in the House. In 2004, Akbaruddin became the floor leader of MIM in the Assembly upon Asaduddin’s election to Lok Sabha from Hyderabad. He was relected in 2009 and now leads the seven-member MIM in the House. Akbaruddin has been very vocal about the land mafia grabbing Wakf properties in the assembly Akbaruddin survived an attempt on his life in april 2011 when a 12 member team of land mafia attacked him ,he was shot thrice and recived multiple stabs but managed to survive ,the whole episode was recorded on camera and made Akbaruddin a survival hero. Akbaruddin owaisi is also the managing director of Owaisi hospital which was setup by his late father Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi for the welfare of the poor .
