Yoga Sun Salutation with Extra Teaching Commentary
For more videos subsribe to our channel: http://www.youtube.com/user/iloveyogavideos Please like and share this video with your friends! Thanks! From Wikipedia: Surya Namaskara (IPA: [suːrjɐ nɐmɐskɐːrɐ]; Sanskrit: सूर्य नमस्कार; IAST: Sūrya Namaskāra) also known in English as Sun Salutation (lit. "salute to the sun") is a common sequence of asanas. Its origins lie in India where they worship Surya, the Hindu solar deity. This sequence of movements and asanas can be practised on varying levels of awareness, ranging from that of physical exercise in various styles, to a complete sadhana which incorporates asana, pranayama, mantra and chakra meditation. It is often the beginning vinyasa within a longer yoga series. Sūrya Namaskāra may also refer to other styles of "Salutations to the Sun". Surya Namaskara, like most asanas, is recommended to be performed on an empty stomach. Therefore some recommend a gap of at least two hours after eating and before performing the namaskara. It is generally practiced in the morning before breakfast or in evening. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Surya_Namaskara Original video by: J. In English, it is often shortened to M.O. The expression is often used in police work when discussing a crime and addressing the methods employed by the perpetrators. It is also used in criminal profiling,[2] where it can help in finding clues to the offender's psychology.[3] It largely consists of examining the actions used by the individual(s) to execute the crime, prevent its detection and/or facilitate escape.[1] A suspect's modus operandi can assist in his identification, apprehension, or repression, and can also be used to determine links between crimes.[4] In business, modus operandi is used to describe a firm's preferred means of doing business and interacting with other firms. mo·di operandi http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Modus_operandi http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/modus%20operandi- published: 23 Jan 2014
