Thomas Mulcair Vs Stephen Harper - 29 octobre
If it had been a boxing match, it would have been declared a technical knock-out and stopped. Stephen Harper's goal in Question Period is to appear indomitable, unflappable and, above all, prime ministerial. After 45 minutes of relentless hectoring by Thomas Mulcair, Mr. Harper looked more like a guilty schoolboy. http://www.nationalpost.com/m/wp/blog.html?b=fullcomment.nationalpost.com/2013/10/29/john-ivison-a-g-senate-probe-could-turn-scandal-into-a-political-lifeline-for-stephen-harper- published: 30 Oct 2013

Stephen Harper's Criminality under Fire
Stephen Harper's Criminality under Fire
Court Documents reveal that the RCMP believe that Stephen Harper's former Chief-of-Staff, Nigel Wright, and Senator Mike Duffy committed bribery, fraud and breach of trust. The RCMP also stated that they believe that the prime minister's office was "more deeply involved" in the corruption than previously alleged and that "the PMO in turn set out to have the Senate report changed." Emails between Wright and Duffy reveal that the deals needed to be approved by the PMO before going forward, and yet Harper insists that he knew nothing about it. In this video, Thomas Mulcair and Justin Trudeau each have a go at Harper, while Harper maintains that he is being "clear" and while the Conservative side shouts and hollers in clear, proud support of their criminal party leader. Hey, it's good entertainment! The last couple years for Harper should be sheer hell for him. This is far, far from over. The more he tries to bury this, the more dramatic it becomes. Michael Coren: Stephen Harper goes to Israel
Michael Coren: Stephen Harper goes to Israel
Ladies and gentlemen, I said a moment ago, that the special friendship between Canada and Israel is rooted in shared values. Indeed, Israel is the only country in the Middle East, which has long anchored itself in the ideals of freedom, democracy and the rule of law. These are not mere notions. They are the things that, over time and against all odds, have proven to be the only ground in which human rights, political stability, and economic prosperity, may flourish. These values are not proprietary; they do not belong to one nation or one people. Nor are they a finite resource; on the contrary, the wider they are spread, the stronger they grow. Likewise, when they are threatened anywhere, they are threatened everywhere. And what threatens them, or more precisely, what today threatens the societies that embrace such values and the progress they nurture? Those who scorn modernity, who loathe the liberty of others, and who hold the differences of peoples and cultures in contempt. Those who, often begin by hating the Jews, but, history shows us, end up hating anyone who is not them. Those forces, which have threatened the state of Israel every single day of its existence, and which, today, as 9/11 graphically showed us, threaten us all. And so, either we stand up for our values and our interests, here, in Israel, stand up for the existence of a free, democratic and distinctively Jewish state or the retreat of our values and our interests in the world will begin. Ladies and gentlemen, just as we refuse to retreat from our values, so we must also uphold the duty to advance them. And our commitment as Canadians to what is right, fair and just is a universal one. . . . Ladies and gentlemen, let me conclude with this thought. Je crois que l'histoire d'israël est UN très bel exemple pour le monde entier. I believe the story of Israel is a great example to the world. It is a story, essentially, of a people whose response to suffering has been to move beyond resentment and build a most extraordinary society a vibrant democracy a freedom-loving country... with an independent and rights-affirming judiciary, an innovative, world-leading "start-up" nation. You have taken the collective memory of death and persecution to build an optimistic, forward-looking land one that so values life, you will sometimes release a thousand criminals and terrorists, to save one of your own. In the democratic family of nations, Israel represents values which our government takes as articles of faith, and principles to drive our national life. And therefore, through fire and water, Canada will stand with you.- published: 21 Jan 2014

CAIR serves libel notice to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper
CAIR serves libel notice to Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper
From Eye on a Crazy Planet: (http://eyecrazy.blogspot.ca/) ==================== Canadian Muslim group with reprehensible links issues libel notice to Prime Minister Harper According to the CTV website, The National Council of Canadian Muslims "is demanding an apology from Prime Minister Stephen Harper and his chief spokesman for a comment it says links the organization to a terrorist group. The National Council of Canadian Muslims has filed a notice of libel in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice that accuses Jason MacDonald of acting maliciously.." Following complaints from the Muslim group about the inclusion of a rabbi who participated in an event with anti-Jihadist activists Pamela Geller and Robert Spencer with the Prime Minister's delegation to Israel, PMO spokesman Jason MacDonald stated, "We will not take seriously criticism from an organization with documented ties to a terrorist organization such as Hamas." Until last July, NCCM was known as CAIR-CAN, and was the Canadian branch of the US-based Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR). CAIR was listed in court documents as an un-indicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Terror-financing trial. As the Investigative Project on Terrorism reported, Assistant US Attorney General Ronald Welch concluded that trial transcripts "demonstrated a relationship among CAIR, individual CAIR founders, and the Palestine Committee. Evidence was also introduced that demonstrated a relationship between the Palestine Committee and HAMAS, which was designated as a terrorist organization in 1995." The Quebec-based blog Point de Bascule has documented members of CAIR-CAN's leaderhip endorsing extremist Muslim groups including the Muslim Brotherhood, which is the parent organization from which the terror group Hamas sprang. That blog also noted: In 2002, while she was CAIR-CAN Chair, Sheema Khan endorsed Youssef Qaradawi by introducing him as a "renowned Muslim scholar" to her Globe and Mail readers. Youssef Qaradawi is the most important leader of the Muslim Brotherhood international network, its spiritual leader. He is also considered Hamas' spiritual guide. In the past, his fatwas have been quoted by Hamas to justify its suicide operations against civilians at the heart of Israel. The 'renowned Muslim scholar' to whom the then CAIR-CAN Chair referred is a anti-Semitic fanatic who has said that Allah used Hitler as a "divine punishment" for the Jews and has claimed Jews exaggerated the Holocaust. Lawfare is a tactic that Muslims groups in Canada are attempting to use to silence criticism and exposure of their activities. But they are having limited success. Only last month, a Federal Court upheld a decision by Canada's Citizenship Minister Jason Kenney to cease federal funding for the Canadian Arab Federation. The judge agreed with Kenney's view that the Arab organization appeared to be anti-Semitic and to support terror groups, and ordered them to pay the Minister's court costs. By taking on the Prime Minister's office, the National Council of Canadian Muslims may find that the rather than being vindicated, they end up highlighting their own reprehensible associations.- published: 30 Jan 2014
