Traders involved in the market always need to know what events are unfolding and how that might affect the decisions they make in their portfolio. Therefore it is essential to get a snapshot of what will likely move the market this week. Irrespective of whether you trade the ASX stocks, Forex, Indices, Commodities or international markets, you'll get a great perspective on what to expect this week. Will the Australian Dollar hold on to its recent gains or will it fall away, as important economic data's released this week. That is the key question. That is our key focus for market this week. And we really look towards the RBA statement, which will be released on Tuesday. What we do have that is the first sign, the first substance behind the decision in early November to maintain rates on hold that sounds a little bit more dovish than expected. The market will be looking for substance behind that. The market will also be looking for any grievance, any concerns that the RBA does have around the gross picture of unemployment has risen. The market will be looking to see how much of the RBA decision was, talk per se, and how much of it was actually substance, meat on the bone. Overlying that also, we have important data coming out of the United States, namely around retail sales the US's still very much a composition-driven economy. Composition in terms of its share of GDP is quite large inside - the retail sales numbers are always very important. And we also have a glimpse into the CPI data, the inflation data. Inflation has so far remained a secondary consideration for the US Federal Reserve. Better-than-expected jobs numbers better-than-expected GDP number, might also see stronger-than-expected CPI numbers not might provide a little bit more kick behind the US dollar, particularly around the discussion around tapering and the new member in terms of running the US Federal Reserve. So it will be a very, key week for the Australian Dollar against the US Dollar whether it can hold and bounced off at 93-US cent level. We called that level on Friday. Vito and his daily updates , which are now being rolled onto Youtube and onto our blog website. Did call a bounced off 93 quite successfully, but this week will be the big test for Where the Australian Dollar goes over the medium term. The US dollar has been strengthening the Dollar-Yen continues to trade above a hundred as at the time of this recording. And it will be very important to see how the US data does play into where the Dollar-Yen does go.
