Just you wait/it'll come around
It always does/don't you worry
Hold on tight/keep a calm
Don't be fooled/don't be alarmed
They say Good things come to those who wait
But I've been waiting
Oh such a long time
I'm gonna get what's mine
I'm gonna get What's mine
You can't pull the wool over my eyes
I'm gonna get what's mine
No time to lose
Yes I've been hesitant/I've been/hesitant
But my history/It gives me strength
I'm better than before
The days Were passing by while I was with you
We were wrong together/Don't you see
Now I've got to think/about me
I'm gonna get what's mine
I'm gonna get What's mine
You can't pull the wool over my eyes
I'm gonna get what's mine
It's too easy despising another for what you hate in your life
Fighting your people instead of using insight
Wise eyes identify why/wise eyes look away sometimes
Curbed from the day I was born/need to perform/torn
Raw energy like a storm/keeping on form
Worn down by the definite day to day pressure
Didn't you think I would try and get better
I'm gonna get what's mine
I'm gonna get
What's mine
You can't pull the wool over my eyes
I'm gonna get what's mine
No time to lose
My firm ambition is my ammunition
I'm dissin' on those time wasters that never listen
I'm on a mission/lyrics lick like kissing
So sly I'm hissing/frisky renditions issuing my skills
I'm flippin' sick of sitting still/Waiting for those fake money makers to get real/It'll build in steal/my will and way is my fortune
I'm dishing up my mind in mighty large portions
Call me the magical one/born Ellie Lawson
My form dawning on the scene so what with caution
Gonna break it down to ya just like this
Won't you raise your glasses
'Cause the day is nearly done
And the time has surely come
Grab my arm and follow me
Wander through the crowded bar
Though I don't know who you are
Even if I shout out
The music's too loud
I wanna give you my number
But I'm feeling too proud
Ooh, I just wanna get down with you
I just wanna get close to you
Ooh, I just need to confirm it's true
What I'd do to be alone with you
We've been dancing here all night
It's the way you catch my eye
Making me just wanna die
Never met no one like you
I don't know how you feel
But I'm sure this is real
Let me step out the light
While you find your keys
It's been the loveliest night
I don't want you to leave
Oh, no baby
Ooh, I just wanna get down with you
I just wanna get close to you
Ooh, I just need to confirm it's true
What I'd do to be alone with you
We could sneak out a bottle
And take a slow walk back to your house
We could head back to yours
And make an early breakfast
Stay up all night long and chat
About our childhood memories
We could hold each other drifting
In and out of sleep
Ooh, I just wanna get down with you
I just wanna get close to you
Ooh, I just need to confirm it's true
Under the neon light, feeling real hype
Right now I do as I like, playing no wife type, living life
I want no strife, only fun, and it's just begun
Start off the night in a bar in London
I've often wondered if we could go out, what you're all about
Stunned by your looks, now you're here, with no doubt
It's weird that you're shy, never look in my eye
Open your mouth wide, fulla clout, always a smile
Don't wanna be more than just friends
I don't know if its real or if it's just pretend
Don't wanna be more than just friends
I want it to be right and I don't want it to end
Decided then
I buy the drinks, and you lend me ten
Sit by your side and you recommend this club called The End
So we move slowly, gentle the flow
Putting my arm around you, so easy to know
Giving no false pretenses, still a true a gent though
I could grow into giving you love, I tell you so
Plus you'd never bug me, all emotion is free
Don't have to think before I speak, and wonder how you receive me
Don't wanna be more than just friends
I don't know if it's real or if it's just pretend
Don't wanna be more than just friends
I want it to be right and I don't want it to end
Decided then
I don't want to be more than just friends
I don't want to be more than just friends...
I used to be confused/used to rude pseudo love
Though I knew there were more true feelings to explore
Walking out his door/emotionally poor
Played his whore/though he saw
He could not have felt me
Cold like ice/pure naivety
Wanted it to be/spiritually right
Knew he'd never hold nor love me tight
Now check the insight
You know what
Something about you
Reminds me
To get in touch with myself
And you know what
Something about you
Teaches me
To stay loyal to me
The road is long
And sometimes rough
But every step
I hear you say
There are a hundred ways to love
One hundred ways to start
Nothing can hold you back
When you're true to your heart
There are a hundred ways back home
One hundred ways to feel
Nothing can hold you back
When you're true and you're real
Stop to think before you
Hold on to your realities
Nothing compares to someone true
Close, so close beside you
Carry your instincts
Love that shines consciously
So clearly to see
For who hold inside
You hurt but learn
Your poor but strong
You laugh and turn
I recommend those occasions
You love but loose
You need but hurt
You hold and pose
I recommend those occasions
I really would want
Something I can care
For a while if your the best
Then we can hope to see the rest
* Stop to think before you
Hold on to your realities
Nothing compares to someone true
Close, so close beside you
Carry your instincts
Love that shines consciously
So clearly
Only flows inside
You brake but share
Your wrong but clear
You feel and care
I recommend those occasions
You know but shove
Your tears but cute
You cry and love
I recommend those occasions
Can't take me away
Somewhere I won't be
For my life it's just one test
I'll make my dreams the best
* repeat
Stop to think before you
Hold on to your realities
Nothing compares to someone true
Close, so close beside you
Carry your instincts
Love that shines consciously
So clearly to see
