KWGN-TV, virtual channel 2 (digital channel 34), is a television station in Denver, Colorado, owned by the Tribune Company and affiliated with the CW Television Network. Its studios are located in Downtown Denver along with KDVR, and its transmitter is atop Lookout Mountain near Golden.

KWGN broadcast on analog channel 2 until June 12, 2009, when it transitioned to digital-only broadcasting on Channel 34, but shows its virtual channel as 2 through the use of PSIP.

The station first went on the air on July 18, 1952 as KFEL-TV, the first television station in Colorado. KFEL was also the first VHF TV station to go on the air after the Federal Communications Commission's (FCC) freeze on new television station licenses was lifted in 1952. The first owner was Gene O'Fallon, who located the station in a remodeled brick warehouse at 550 Lincoln Street, where the station was housed until moving to suburban Greenwood Village in 1983. Originally, KFEL was a primary affiliate of the DuMont Television Network, but carried shows from other networks as well.

Gloria María Milagrosa Fajardo García de Estefan, known professionally as Gloria Estefan (born September 1, 1957) is a Cuban-born American singer, songwriter, actress and entrepreneur. Known as the "Queen Of Latin Pop", she is in the top 100 best selling music artists with over 100 million albums sold worldwide, 31.5 million of those in the United States alone. She has won three Grammy Awards, and 4 Latin Grammys, and is the most successful crossover performer in Latin music to date.

Gloria María Milagrosa Fajardo was born September 1, 1957 in Havana, Cuba, to Jose and Gloria Fajardo. Her maternal grandfather, Leonardo Garcia, immigrated to Cuba from Pola de Siero, Asturias, Spain, where he married Gloria's maternal grandmother, originally from Logroño, Spain. Prior to the Cuban Revolution, her father was a Cuban soldier and a bodyguard to Cuban dictator Fulgencio Batista. The Fajardo family fled to Miami, Florida as a result of the Cuban Revolution and settled down there. Shortly after they moved to the United States, Gloria's father joined the US military and fought in the Vietnam War and moved to Houston, Texas, also having participated in the failed Bay of Pigs Invasion. Gloria attended St. Michael-Archangel School and Our Lady of Lourdes Academy in Miami. Her father became ill after returning from Vietnam and Gloria helped her mother, Gloria Fajardo, care for him. Her mother worked as a school teacher for the Dade County Public School system. Gloria Estefan graduated from college in 1979 with a B.A. in psychology, with a minor in French, from the University of Miami. When she was studying at the university, she worked as an English/Spanish/French translator at Miami International Airport Customs Department and, because of her language abilities, was once approached by the CIA as a possible employee. Estefan was raised Catholic.

Dr. Felicia Stoler is an American registered dietitian and exercise physiologist who has hosted Honey, We're Killing the Kids, a television series originally developed by the BBC that shows parents the consequences of poor parenting, using computer-generated images of what their children may look like as adults if they continue with their present life-style, dietary and exercise habits. Stoler has hosted the American edition, which appears as a one-hour weekly series on The Learning Channel in the United States and the Food Network in Canada.

Stoler attended Tulane University, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and sociology. She attended Columbia University, where she majored in applied physiology and nutrition and was awarded a Master of Science degree. In 2008, she completed a doctorate in clinical nutrition (D.C.N.) at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Stoler grew up in Marlboro Township, New Jersey, where she attended Marlboro Middle School and Marlboro High School. As of 2007^[update], she lived with her children in nearby Holmdel Township, New Jersey.

Suzanne Farrell (born August 16, 1945) is an eminent 20th century ballerina (often referred to as the greatest American lyric ballerina) and the founder of the Suzanne Farrell Ballet at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C.

She was born as Roberta Sue Ficker in Cincinnati, and received her early training at the Cincinnati Conservatory of Music. In 1960 she was selected to study at George Balanchine's School of American Ballet with a Ford Foundation scholarship; she started there in 1960, and joined the New York City Ballet (NYCB) in 1961.

Initially part of the corps de ballet at NYCB, Farrell soon moved on to dancing featured roles. The first ballet choreographed for her was Passage, now Arcade, by John Taras in 1963. Balanchine first paired her with Jacques d' Amboise to choreograph his Meditation, which debuted in Winter 1963. One of her most notable roles was Dulcinea in Balanchine's Don Quixote, which premiered in May 1965. Balanchine performed in the of Don Quixote on opening night. She re-scaled many ballets and expanded them to a new level of technique. In 1965 she was promoted to principal dancer. Her first role in her new title was Agon with Arthur Mitchell at the Paris Opera. George Balanchine quickly fell in love with his "alabaster princess", and created many roles for her. Farrell described learning choreography from Balanchine as a collaborative process, saying, "When Mr. B was working on a ballet, something would just spill out of his body; he could rarely duplicate it, so I tried to see precisely what he wanted the first time." In 1965 he created Don Quixote, thought to be a valentine to his newest "muse." In 1968 he cast her as the lead in the "Diamonds" section of his three-act plotless ballet "Jewels".

Danica Mae McKellar (born January 3, 1975) is an American actress, academic, and education advocate. She is best known for her role as Winnie Cooper in the television show The Wonder Years, and later as author of three popular non-fiction books: Math Doesn't Suck, Kiss My Math, and Hot X: Algebra Exposed, which encourage middle-school girls to have confidence and succeed in mathematics.

Born in La Jolla, California, McKellar moved with her family to Los Angeles when she was eight. Her mother Mahalia is a homemaker; her father Christopher is a real estate developer. Her family is "a big mix of Western Europe": Her mother's ancestry is Portuguese (via the Azores and Madeira islands); her father's ancestry is Scottish, Irish, French, German and Dutch. McKellar and her sister Crystal McKellar (who is loosely named after their dad) both maintained professional acting careers as children, but with a strong emphasis on education as a priority. As a result, Crystal became a corporate lawyer (her family nicknamed her "Legally Blonde" because of her hair color), while Danica majored in mathematics. Danica and Crystal also have two half-brothers, Chris Junior and Connor McKellar.
