The teaching method of the institute emphasises reading of Individual Notes, Rhythm, Counting, Theory of Music and Sight reading. The method of institute approaches note reading both from intervalic and single note approaches. The students are to sing the names of the notes aloud while they play the exercises in Musical Instruments. The primary school students school students have been taught Music lessons through the help of Alphabet but later on slowly we introduce Staff Notation to the children.
