Mahali Jasuli (born 2 April 1989 in Selayang, Selangor) is a Malaysian footballer who is a defender for Harimau Muda A. He is a member of the Malaysia national under-23 football team and a member of the 2009 Laos Sea Games Football Gold medal winning squad. He has played for the Malaysian national football team, and in summer 2009 he played twice against Manchester United in their pre season tour of the Far East.
In November 2010, Mahali was called up to the Malaysia national squad by coach K. Rajagopal for the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup. Mahali first goal for Malaysia was against Laos at the final group game. Malaysia won the 2010 AFF Suzuki Cup title for the first time in their history.
Mahali captained Harimau Muda A in the 2012 S. League.
Joseph Kalang Tie (born on March 9, 1987) is a Malaysian footballer who play as a midfielder for Terengganu in Malaysia Super League. Joseph Kalang Tie has previously played for Sarawak.
Joseph is well known for his ability to score a long shot goals. He made into the senior squad during season 2006/07 scoring two league goals and one goal in Malaysia Cup group match against PDRM. At age of 21, Joseph is the youngest captain to captained Sarawak in Malaysia Super League 2007-08.
On October 2008, Joseph Kalang Tie and with his two teammate have been selected to attend a two-month training stint with English League One side Hartlepool United.
In Malaysia FA Cup 2009, Joseph score his first ever senior team hattrick in 6-1 trashing over ATM FA.
He leaves Sarawak before the kick-off of 2009 Malaysia Cup seasons despite being the top scorer for the team in whole competition for 2009 seasons. He later joined Terengganu for the 2010 season.
In 2011, Joseph won his first silverware with Terengganu after beating Kelantan 2-1 in 2011 Malaysia FA Cup.
Steve Pantelidis (born 17 August 1983) is an Australian Football player who currently plays as a central defender for Perth Glory in the Australian A-League.
Pantelidis was reportedly a keen football player who showed plenty of potential competing against other schools. After excelling in the state championships, representing his home state Victoria, Pantelidis was selected to represent the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS). After completing his apprenticeship he joined Altona East Phoenix in the Victorian premier league. In his second year at the club he was voted player of the year.
Pantelidis moved overseas at 19-years old and signed for FC Aarhus, after his successful year at Altona East Phoenix.
After finding it hard to settle in Denmark, Pantelidis returned to Australia after 6 months and signed for Melbourne Knights in the National Soccer League (NSL). During his time at Melbourne Knights he was selected to represent Australia at Under-20 level. He subsequently went to the World Cup in the United Arab Emirates where Australia reached the quarter final. During the period where Australia's national football league was being reformed, Pantelidis played both for Oakleigh Cannons and Heidelberg United in the Victorian Premier League.
Ledley Brenton King (born 12 October 1980) is an English footballer who is currently a free agent. He was the longest serving player at Tottenham Hotspur and captained Spurs since 2005. In March 2009 an article in The Times named King as Tottenham's 25th best player of all time.
In recent seasons King has been plagued by chronic knee problems, for which no effective treatment or remedy has been found, which prevent him from playing more than one game a week. Instead of training with the rest of the squad King undertakes fitness exercises on his own. His manager Harry Redknapp has called King "an absolute freak" for being able to perform at Premiership level despite not training. King has also received praise from former team mate and Sky Sports pundit Jamie Redknapp, saying that “He is like a magnet for the ball, a thoroughbred of a defender, the best centre-half in the country.”
King joined Tottenham as a trainee in July 1996 and became a professional the following year. His debut came in May 1999 at Anfield ending in a 3–2 defeat to Liverpool. When breaking into the first team under former manager George Graham he was often used as a midfielder. It was with a performance in central midfield during Tottenham's 2–1 win over Liverpool in November 2000 that he established himself as a regular in the Spurs side. His first goal for Tottenham was scored in December 2000 in a 3–3 draw away to Bradford City which was scored in 9.7 seconds, setting a new Premier League record for the quickest goal.
Marco Reus (born 31 May 1989) is a German footballer who plays as a forward for Borussia Dortmund and the German national team.
Reus was born in Dortmund, North Rhine-Westphalia. He began to play football for his hometown club Post SV Dortmund in 1994 and joined the youth ranks of Borussia Dortmund in 1996. He played for Borussia Dortmund until he left for the U-19 of Rot Weiss Ahlen in the summer of 2006. During his first year there the attacking midfielder was featured in five games for the club's second team which played in the Westphalia league at the time. He scored a goal in each of his first two games. The following year he was able to break into Ahlen's first team which played in the German third division at the time. He started twice and was featured in 14 matches, scoring two times. One of his goals came on the last day of the season and helped his team being promoted to the 2. Bundesliga.
In 2008–09, the then 19 year old had his definitive breakthrough as a professional football player. He played in 27 games and scored four times. On 25 May 2009, he signed a four-year contract with Bundesliga club Borussia Mönchengladbach.
